Chapter 37: Chapter 37 Boundary technique inverted golden bell
Konoha Izakaya.
"Them? They're alright, barely Chunin. It won't be impressive until they become Jonin," Satoru replied.
Talent truly dictates a person's entire life!
He believed that in terms of Ninjutsu, aside from certain forbidden jutsu, he was no worse than the Third Hokage.
But even after diligently summarising and teaching, the three little ones' growth in strength could only be described as relatively fast.
They certainly weren't geniuses.
Ordinary Jonin was their limit.
"You're still not satisfied? They're only fourteen, they still have a lot of room for growth!
Unlike me, I'm seventeen and only a Chunin, I probably won't make it to Jonin!" Seishimon exclaimed.
He looked at Satoru; this was the true genius.
Whether it was his own learning ability or teaching ability, both were top-notch.
"Let's not talk about that anymore. To your return to the Analysis Team, cheers."
Clang!
Then the two happily drank.
Satoru was truly happy; this was the life a Hokage should have.
He had a wife, friends, a superior, a father, and disciples…
Anyway, he didn't have to worry about the internal strife at the top.
And the Analysis Team didn't have much going on, so there wouldn't be any mutual suspicion between colleagues.
The work was simple; he just needed to read memories and then report them.
The two chatted and laughed.
Until Ayame came over, grabbed his ear, and dragged him back.
Satoru's House.
"Drinking again? Do you even need to come home?" Ayame asked, arms crossed, looking at him seriously.
Satoru: "Haha, it's just communication between colleagues, it's necessary."
He didn't know what happened, but after marriage, Ayame's personality underwent subtle changes.
In some aspects, she was no longer just a girl but the mother of a family.
And unlike other wives who remained unchanged after marriage, Ayame seemed to be influenced by him, becoming more and more different from others.
Just then, Ayame's face flushed slightly.
"Satoru, we still have to do immoral things today, okay?"
"Immoral things?"
Satoru looked at her slightly tipsy face and immediately understood.
Seriously, if you want a child, just say so!
For a time, in the bedroom, they continued the bloodline.
…
98th Training Ground.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
The Kunai diversified into six extremes, inserting themselves at various points across the training ground in a special arrangement.
Trees, rivers, ground…
"Barrier Ninjutsu: Inverted Golden Bell."
Satoru formed hand seals, hundreds of them.
Chakra surged out of his body, and the talismans tied to the Kunai at the six points began to react with each other.
A giant golden bell enveloped the 98th Training Ground.
When he completed the last hand seal, the golden bell flipped.
Without a sound, the entire training ground disappeared, leaving only a large empty plot of land.
Birds hidden in distant trees, seeing the suddenly vanished area, widened their eyes.
Caw! Caw!
They squawked a few times and flew away, taking a flock of birds with them, leaving behind a few piles of droppings.
And beneath the ground, an illusory golden bell formed.
A golden bell that only Satoru could see.
Inside the golden bell was the entire 98th Training Ground, with mountains and rivers, all without the slightest damage.
"After more than two years, this barrier Ninjutsu is finally complete!"
Satoru felt the current environment, and he still had his senses.
There was no difference from before; he was still standing in the centre of the training ground, the river was still there, and the trees were still growing well.
It was just that the barrier only covered a certain area, with boundaries.
Aside from the boundaries, it was as if nothing had changed; the sun was still overhead, and the water still flowed slowly.
From outside the barrier, it looked like only flat ground, no difference at all.
This was the Ninjutsu he had painstakingly researched, combining sealing and barrier jutsu, to protect his family against Pain's ultimate technique.
This was a space-type barrier; without special abilities, it was impossible to attack from the outside in. As for whether space-type Ninjutsu like Flying Thunder God or Kamui could enter, that remained to be seen.
Kamui was probably impossible because he had no coordinates.
As for Flying Thunder God, if there were coordinates, it should be able to enter.
But how many people could do that?
There was one drawback: the barrier he used was only this large. To set it up across the entire Konoha, he would need the Hokage and those two old geezers' approval.
The Third Hokage wouldn't do; he was too indecisive. He'd have to wait for Tsunade to take over before it would be easier to set up.
"The disturbance just now came from here."
As he pondered, a voice entered his ear.
Three figures approached from afar.
Looking at the empty land, they were all shocked.
Such a large training ground had disappeared.
But the empty land told them that this was not fake.
"Uchiha Defence Force?" Satoru thought.
He wondered if the Sharingan's observational abilities could see through it.
Uchiha Shisui rubbed his hand on the soil and then scanned the surroundings.
"What's going on? Did someone practice Ninjutsu?" an Uchiha asked.
"From the looks of it, it seems someone used an extremely large Earth Release to flatten this area?" another wondered.
Uchiha Shisui: "No, it's not Ninjutsu."
Sharingan, activate.
His eyes widened sharply, and a Three-Tomoe Sharingan appeared in his eyes.
He observed everything within the training ground.
He wanted to search for more clues from the surroundings.
The more he looked, the more he frowned. At the boundary of the flat ground, the river seemed to enter another space just as it reached the flat ground, and then flowed out from another part of the flat ground.
Shisui went to the boundary of the flat ground, wanting to see how the water flowed through.
He found that it was as if there had always been a river there, still flowing normally.
"Is it a Genjutsu?"
Shisui was confident in his Sharingan and couldn't believe this was a Genjutsu.
But he still tried it, disrupting the Chakra in his body.
No change.
The other two Uchiha were also the same.
"What exactly is going on?"
The three met up, all frowning in silence.
"Could it be a spy attack, but why cause such a big commotion?"
The startled birds earlier were enough for Ninja to judge many things; something must have happened here just now.
This left them very puzzled.
Uchiha Shisui made a quick decision: "Let's go report to Hokage-sama."
"Why report to Hokage-sama? Patrolling Konoha is our Defence Force's business!" an Uchiha said.
To them, such matters should be investigated by the Uchiha.
"What concerns the Uchiha also concerns the Village," Uchiha Shisui said in a deep voice.
The clan members were becoming more and more radical.
He felt the actions of those around him, and every word and phrase revealed their dissatisfaction with the Hokage, which made him very sad.
"Satoru, I brought your bento!" Ayame said, carrying a bento, as she walked to the training ground.
What met her eyes were the three fierce-looking Uchiha. The familiar environment was gone, levelled to the ground.
The smile on her face suddenly vanished, tears welled up in her eyes, and she looked at the three with watery eyes: "You are from the Defence Force. Where is my husband?"
She had a bad feeling; had Satoru been arrested by the Defence Force? She heard her husband say he was researching some Ninjutsu.
Thinking of this, her tears flowed freely.
