Chapter 17: CH- 17 : Kekkai Mora Barrage: The Last Stand of Elwith
On the battlefield, a colossal Crystal Rainbow Dragon stood tall—Elwith in her Crystal Genesis Form , radiating power and fury.
Opposite to her floated Reizan, calm and composed, a smirk curling at his lips.
"Now try this," he muttered.
A radiant silver light erupted from his hand, illuminating the frozen plains.
"Silver Light Fall: Blade of Illumination."
A massive silver energy blade—nearly 30 meters long—formed in an instant and surged forward like a divine cleaver, aimed directly at Elwith.
But in a blur, Elwith vanished from her spot. Space twisted unnaturally.
Reizan's eyes narrowed. "That wasn't teleportation… I felt a space tremor. You shifted in space its, didn't you?"
Before he could fully react, Elwith reappeared behind him—silent and precise. A glowing crystal orb formed in her claws, then exploded into a concentrated beam of light that struck Reizan from behind.
BOOM!The impact lit up the sky. A shockwave rippled across the tundra, melting glaciers into steaming lakes. The very air shimmered from the sudden spike in temperature.
But then—her blood ran cold.
A voice echoed behind her.
"Not bad, Elwith... But while your shot was fast—"Reizan's voice sharpened, darker."—I'm faster."
Before she could turn, the Sword of Nunoboko twisted through the air in a spiraling slash, crashing straight into her side.
CRASH!The enormous dragon was flung like a meteor into the frozen ground, shattering the ice below.
Reizan didn't let up.
With a flick of his wrist, the Silver Light Blade extended again from his palm and hurled itself like a comet toward the crater where Elwith landed.
BOOOOM!The tundra erupted in a second explosion of light and force.
But Reizan still wasn't done.
He raised his hand again.
Five Ash Bones launched simultaneously from his hands, twisting as they ripped through the air. Each one carried the deadly touch of chakra-corrupting decay.
One struck a flying crystal dragonoid—he turned to grey ash mid-roar, scattering into dust.
Another grazed Elwith's wing who was still embedded in the crater , and part of her crystalline flesh instantly corroded, eaten by molecular disintegration.
Reizan advanced slowly through the sky like an executioner."No Dragon , Dragon-kin have seen these arts. You're fortunate, Elwith."
"You will die witnessing my power and your army shall be erased"
From behind him, two Truth-Seeking Balls detached, swirling into a vortex. They fused into a black sun of pure entropy.Reizan whispered coldly,"Return to nothing."
He hurled it toward the remaining battalion of dragnoids—hundreds of them screamed, scattered, fired dragon breath techniques in desperation.
All of it was useless.
The explosion consumed them.
The blast radius vaporized kilometers.Crystals, flames, wings, and bones—gone.Only ashes and warped tundra remained in its wake.
Elwith lay embedded deep in ice, blood dripping from her dragon form, one eye closed, her breath heavy. Still, she tried to rise.
But Reizan descended, his golden eyes glowing with divine light.
He pointed at her and said,"For the record…"
"My name is Reizan Ōtsutsuki your slayer .
With his free hand, he summoned the Silver Light Fall Blade once more.
Elwith's roar echoed across the broken tundra like the last cry of a collapsing world.
Despite the wounds carved into her majestic crystalline body, she stood tall, wings stretched wide. Her rainbow scales shimmered like starlight struggling to survive the darkness.
"Even if I fall," she said, voice hoarse but unbroken, "I'll carve my vengeance into the bones of this fake realm. You'll remember the wrath of the Dragonoid Empress."
Reizan floated above, Silver Light Fall blade in one hand, Sword of Nunoboko in the other, his cloak fluttering, and Ten glowing Truth-Seeking Balls orbiting his back like miniature black suns.
"You still don't understand," he replied coldly. "This isn't vengeance. This is cleansing."
Elwith's wings surged outward. She lifted both arms to the sky's. The battlefield trembled.
Dozens of dragon-shaped glyphs appeared above her. The air was ripped apart by gravitational surges as massive lances of rainbow crystal formed in the sky, all aimed toward Reizan. Time distorted. Her move now could even injure a six-paths high level being seriously this was her just being a Peak-Grandmaster .
Then she let them fall.
A thousand crystal lances screamed down at him.
Reizan stood there still silent and then moved.
Flash.
His body blurred.
CRACK—BOOM—BOOM—BOOM!!
Each step defied gravity, dodging and slicing through the crystal barrage. The Silver Light Blade in his right hand spun with light speed arcs, disintegrating the lances mid-air, leaving massive white scars in the atmosphere.
Ash-Bones erupted from his left palm while , firing like artillery shells. Wherever they landed, the earth crumbled into decaying clouds.
Elwith flew forward, slashing with a blade of compressed light and crystal—Reizan blocked it with Silver light blade , their clash splitting the sky with a shockwave that shattered the floating glaciers nearby.
"You fight well," Reizan admitted mid-clash. "But sadly you're going to win "
"You're just another simulation… standing between me and my mission ."
With a powerful roundhouse kick, coated in Truth-Seeking Armor, Reizan struck Elwith's neck. The blow would've obliterated any normal being.
But she held firm—barely.
"I… will not lose… to a monster like you…"
He smirked darkly.
"Let's test that."
He activated Primordial Suppression (Advanced).
The air collapsed.
A pressure unlike anything Elwith had ever felt crushed her from all angles. The ice around her imploded. The rainbow shine of her scales dimmed as she dropped to her knees, blood seeping from her mouth.
Then—Conscious Control (Basic).
His glowing eyes locked onto hers.
Her breathing hitched.
Elwith screamed as her mind was invaded—memories flickering, beliefs twisting. But her will was strong. Stronger than any he'd encountered.
Yet even she couldn't stop him from planting doubt.
"Why fight?" his voice echoed within her mind. "Why resist your fate?"
She cried out her wings spasming violently.
Reizan stepped forward in mid air slowly towards her.
"You made it further than most. Be proud. But even a dragon has its limits."
Elwith roared with what little strength she had left, her final cry echoing across the artificial realm.
Then—SILENCE.
A Silver Light Fall Blade from Reizan's hand then swept forward like a divine blade, meeting her collapsing body.
Light engulfed the battlefield.
When it faded—
All that remained of Elwith was a single shimmering rainbow scale, frozen mid-air before it slowly disintegrated into glowing particles.
The wind howled over the battlefield, now a wasteland of melted glaciers, scorched terrain, and floating ash.
Elwith's form which was once majestic, radiant, and defiant—was now gone, reduced to silver-glinting dust by Reizan's devastating Silver Light Fall.
The silence was broken only by the labored breathing of the last few surviving dragonoids—a scattered force of barely a few hundred Dragonoids.
Only four of the original ten Crystal Dragonoids remained, their armor cracked, bodies glowing faintly with flickering draconic energy. The rest of the survivors were Earth-blooded, Storm-blooded, and Magma-blooded warriors, trembling as they witnessed the godlike devastation of a single man.
And above it all, Reizan floated in the icy sky, elven Truth-Seeking Balls orbiting him like miniature suns of judgment.
His cloak shimmered with divine energy, his gaze calm and unreadable.
"You saw your lizard queen fade into dust," Reizan said, voice echoing like a divine sentence."And yet, you're still here… clinging to your pathetic life ."
One of the remaining Earth-Dragonoids roared in defiance and lunged.
Bad choice.
Ash-Bones grew instantly from Reizan's palm, and with a flick of his wrist, the bone spear launched—piercing the Dragonoid's chest mid-air. In moments, the beast's roar turned to a choked gasp… and his entire body crumbled into gray dust.
Reizan's smile widened.
He looked to the remaining Crystal Dragonoids.
"I've tested this one before... but it never gets old."
He raised a hand—Purple God Lightning answered.
The sky convulsed as dark purple thunderbolts slammed down on the battlefield. The strikes tore through ice and flesh, sending arcs of lightning across hundreds of kilometers. Dozens of Dragonoids were instantly fried, their scales bursting like overcooked metal.
Those who tried to run met the edge of the battlefield farway from the battle met Reizan's Silver Light Fall— concerated beam of energy giving a death sweeping light across the field, leaving a glowing silver trail of nothingness in its path.A hundred more fell, erased from existence.
Reizan began to walk.
The ground beneath him didn't crack—it disappeared, consumed by his steps as Truth-Seeking Armor disintegrated all beneath him.
"Still breathing?" he asked the last two Crystal Dragonoid Elites.
They trembled, on their knees.
Reizan activated Primordial Suppression.
A black aura pulsed outward. The very air grew heavier, space compressed, and the will of the remaining Crystal Dragonoids began to fracture.
The weaker one fell first, screaming, clutching his chest and skull before his body ruptured from within.
The remaining Crystal elite tried to resist as he stood shakily… then collapsed
Barely clinging to consciousness.
Reizan stepped toward him.
"Do you still fight?"
The Dragonoid raised his head slowly, rage in his eyes—but also tears.
"...Monster."
Reizan tilted his head. "Wrong. I am Reizan Ōtsutsuki—the your slayer .
Then, with a snap of his fingers, the last crystal Dragonoid was pierced from every direction by converging Truth-Seeking Balls. No gore. Just silence, and then… dust.
Reizan floated alone now, the battlefield silent.
"It's time to end this."With a calm wave of his hand, Reizan released his will.
The eleven Truth-Seeking Balls—each charged with condensed destruction—descended simultaneously, striking the ground like missile , the scattered dragnoids all felt fear as they tried to move as fast they could in the air or on land .
In the next instant, reality cracked.
A colossal flash erupted, followed by a blinding pillar of light that blossomed into a super-wide mushroom cloud, rising and devouring all of the remaining dragnoids none could escape . The land below was instantly vaporized—not a corpse, not a trace of resistance remained.
From hundreds of kilometers above, Reizan hovered in silence, arms folded, watching the annihilation unfold. The sheer heat and pressure surged outward in every direction engulfing all the glaciers for hundreds of kilometers and soon a massive sinkhole appeared spreading for atleast a few kilometers.
High above the chaos, untouched and unshaken, Reizan's golden eyes narrowed.
"The Dragnoid race your Lizard leader actually put up a fight this time," Reizan smirked cruelly and his eyes gleaming at the giant sink-hole .
"Almost had me impressed."
