Naruto: My Progress in Konoha.

Chapter 356

After reviewing all the benefits gained from his improved physical attributes, Uchiha Haruki shifted his gaze to the other areas on his Proficiency Panel.

The first thing he looked at was his chakra.

Over nearly two weeks of rigorous training, Haruki had once again unearthed more of his body's potential.

As a result, his chakra capacity had increased by more than 4,000 points, rising from 70,964 to 75,572.

Initially, Haruki had been quite pleased with this improvement.

But that satisfaction quickly vanished after witnessing the sheer chakra reserves of Kisame Hoshigaki—leaving him a little deflated.

However, he quickly brushed aside those negative thoughts.

Because, unlike Kisame—whose chakra reserves had already more or less reached their limit—Haruki was still in his rapid growth phase.

As long as he kept refining chakra daily, his total chakra would continue to grow steadily.

Currently, with his Chakra Refinement Technique at level 5, Haruki could raise his chakra cap by 32 points per hour.

Over thirteen hours each day, that was 416 points per day.

Over a month, that added up to 12,480 points.

At this rate, it wouldn't take long for his chakra reserves to surpass Kisame's.

So Haruki wasn't feeling any pressure.

Of course, maintaining this rate of increase required continued improvement in his Constitution and Spirit stats.

Only then could his potential continue to expand.

Otherwise, once he had fully tapped into his body's current potential and reached his theoretical chakra limit, he would plateau.

And for most people, that's where their natural talent ceiling would kick in.

Fortunately, thanks to the ocular jutsu Human Dominion, Haruki didn't have to worry about such things—for now.

Because with that technique, he could guide the evolution of both his mind and body.

Talent, for him, was essentially a false limitation.

Bringing his thoughts back, Haruki turned his attention to the Bloodline section.

He could see that his Mangekyō Sharingan had progressed more than 10% toward its next evolution.

The progress bar now read (5903/50000).

Haruki had a vague feeling that when it crossed 10,000, his Spirit stat would likely increase—not by just one point either.

That would further boost his growth potential, and just thinking about it made Haruki feel fired up.

However, after doing a quick estimate, he calmed down.

There was still about a month and a half to go before that milestone.

Until then, his Spirit stat probably wouldn't improve.

Still, that didn't mean continuing to improve the Mangekyō Sharingan was useless.

Even ignoring less tangible benefits like enhancing Susanoo's defense, the fact that it could extend the duration of "Heavenly Dominion" made it worth the effort.

Currently, whenever he used Heavenly Dominion, he could maintain it for around 16 seconds—

A significant jump from the initial 10 seconds.

Whether used offensively or to retreat, the increased duration brought much greater stealth and safety.

So naturally, Haruki was willing to continue investing in it.

Shaking his head, Haruki stopped overthinking and looked over his Skills.

He noticed that several techniques he had been focusing on had improved quite a bit.

For example, Wind Release: Wind Blade had risen from

Level 6 (3405/10000) to

Level 6 (4725/10000).

Just 5,275 more proficiency points, and it would rank up.

At his current pace, it would take about 50 days to achieve that.

According to Haruki's estimates, level 7 might be the upper limit for Wind Blade.

At that point, he could perhaps start experimenting with flight-based wind ninjutsu.

Over a month ago, on his way to the Land of Craftsmen, he had already come up with the idea of developing a flight technique using wind chakra.

But at the time, he lacked the foundation, so he had shelved the idea.

Now though...

Haruki stretched out his right hand.

A ball of Wind Release chakra gathered in his palm, spinning and fluttering like a tiny, living spirit.

"Now... maybe it's possible."

Of course, if it wasn't quite ready yet, he'd wait until he also leveled up Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.

That would deepen his understanding of wind-nature chakra and increase his chances of success.

With that thought, Haruki turned his gaze to Rasenshuriken.

After nearly two weeks of training, its proficiency had increased from

Level 4 (462/2000) to

Level 4 (1566/2000).

At most, it would take another five days to reach level 5.

And by the time Wind Blade broke through to level 7, Rasenshuriken would likely be at level 6.

That would give him a very solid foundation for experimenting.

"Flight, huh…"

Haruki looked up at the clear blue sky and murmured dreamily, lost in thought.

After a long pause, he snapped out of it, shaking his head and shifting his focus to

Water Release: Water Wall and

Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet.

Thanks to his training, these two had leveled up from:

Water Wall: Lv4 (954/2000) → Lv5 (334/5000)

Water Dragon Bullet: Lv4 (721/2000) → Lv5 (101/5000)

With their upgrades, both their casting speed and maximum power had increased considerably, making them much more practical in combat.

Next were Illusion Sword Technique and Flash Sword Technique.

The former was still stuck within level 6,

but the latter had improved over the past two weeks:

Flash Sword: Lv4 (1100/2000) → Lv5 (540/5000)

This meant his close-combat ability had also stepped up.

And that's the terrifying part of the Proficiency Panel—

as long as Haruki had enough time, his strength would continue to rise steadily—allowing him to crush all obstacles in his path.

Slurp~

Haruki wiped the corner of his mouth and finally turned his attention to:

Rasengan

Palm Sage Technique

Mirror Heart Technique

Like Wind Blade, Rasengan would also take around 50 more days to reach level 7.

As for Palm Sage and Mirror Heart, they had already reached level 8.

But advancing beyond that would be much more difficult.

After all, leveling from 8 to 9 required 50,000 proficiency points—not something easily earned.

"Haah… One step at a time."

Letting out a light sigh, Haruki closed the Proficiency Panel and steadied his mindset.

Then he began casting Palm Sage Technique to continue enhancing his body.

Just like after his last breakthrough, he could feel the effect of Palm Sage weakening a bit due to his higher Constitution stat.

Still, it was a level 8 technique, and when paired with Human Dominion's guidance, it could continue to strengthen his body.

The only issue… was time.

Haruki carefully sensed the changes happening in his body.

It was hard to notice with just one or two repetitions.

So, during the remaining time before nightfall, he repeated Palm Sage Technique nonstop, concentrating Yang Release chakra to strengthen himself.

After nearly a hundred repetitions, Haruki finally reached a conclusion:

At his current training rate of 240 sessions per day,

it would take roughly one month for his body to reach its next transformation threshold.

A month.

Depending on how the situation evolved, it could feel either long or short.

If the warfront stayed stable, a month wasn't much at all.

But if things took a turn for the worse, a month might feel like forever.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Haruki packed up his belongings and returned to camp—to his own quarters.
