In the center of the room, the captured assassin from Nyx's Veil was bound to a reinforced magic chair, enchanted to suppress both physical strength and magical abilities. Despite this, his emerald eyes burned with silent defiance behind his tattered mask.

Naruto leaned casually against the wall, arms crossed, his crimson eyes locked onto the assassin like a predator observing prey.

Rias stood beside him, her expression a mix of curiosity and restrained anger.

Koneko and Akeno remained at the door, silent sentinels, while Kiba observed from the shadows, his hand resting lightly on the hilt of his sword.

Naruto's grin was wolfish.

"Alright, Mr. Silent and Mysterious," he said, pushing off the wall. "Let's have a chat."

The assassin said nothing, his gaze icy and unwavering.

Naruto crouched down, getting eye-level. "I know the type. You think you're some shadow warrior, loyal to your cause, ready to die before giving up any secrets."

The assassin didn't respond.

Naruto's grin widened. "But see… I don't need you to talk."

"The Night Reaper," Naruto whispered. "Who is he? Your boss? Your god? Or just another coward hiding in the dark?"

The assassin finally snapped, spitting blood at Naruto's feet. "You… don't understand… You're already dead."

Naruto chuckled, wiping the blood splatter from his boot. "I've heard that one before."

Without warning, Naruto's Destruction Magic flared, a small orb of energy forming in his hand. He pressed it against the assassin's arm, not enough to kill—but enough to disintegrate the flesh slightly, causing the man to scream in agony.

Naruto's voice was ice-cold. "You don't get to make threats when you're tied to a chair."

Rias placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder, her voice soft but firm. "Naruto. That's enough."

Naruto's crimson eyes remained locked on the assassin for a moment longer before he finally stepped back, letting out a slow breath.

"Fine," he muttered. "Your turn, Princess."

Rias stepped forward, her crimson aura growing more intense. "You're going to tell me everything. Because unlike Naruto, I won't stop at one arm."

The assassin's resolve finally cracked.

"He'll… kill me…" the man whispered, trembling.

Rias's smile was cold. "You should be more afraid of me."

The assassin's head dropped slightly, his voice barely a whisper.

"The Night Reaper… he's not just our leader. He's a monster. A being that even the Great Satans fear. We're not just assassins—we're part of something bigger. Something that's been in the shadows long before any of you were born."

Naruto's grin returned. "See? That wasn't so hard."

The air grew cold.

A shadow materialized in the room, darker than the darkness itself, forming into a humanoid figure cloaked in black mist.

"Enough."

The voice was a low whisper, but it echoed through the room like a death sentence.

Naruto's instincts screamed.

"He's here."

The Night Reaper.

Before anyone could react, the shadow lunged, piercing the assassin's chest with a tendril of pure darkness.

The assassin's body convulsed, his eyes turning black before he crumbled into ash, erasing all evidence.

Naruto and Rias immediately launched attacks.

"Demonic Burst!"

"Power of Destruction!"

Their combined energy collided with the shadow—but it phased right through him, as if he weren't even there.

The figure turned its head slightly toward Naruto.

"You've made too much noise, Uzumaki. The veil will fall… and you will be the first to drown in the dark."

And just like that, the figure vanished.

The room was silent.

Naruto clenched his fists, his grin gone, replaced by a look of pure determination.

"So… this is the game you want to play?"

Rias's voice broke the silence. "Naruto… this just got bigger than us."

Naruto's crimson eyes burned with defiance.

"Good." He turned toward the door. "Let's find him."
