LET THE CHAPTER BEGIN

The valley between the Land of Hot Springs and the Land of Frost crackled with tension, the air heavy with the threat of battle.
Hiruzen gripped the Monkey King Enma, the summon having already transformed into an Adamantine staff. He stood tall, like the mighty Sun Wukong, ready to fight—and win.
The three Kage stood in his sight—great titans and a floating candy, each ready to unleash hell upon the battlefield.
The air stilled around the four figures, as if a prelude to an ancient battlefield. The sounds of distant skirmishes broke the silence from time to time. They could clash at any given moment.
Hiruzen's eyes darted between the three Kage, reading their every movement, every twitch of muscle. He knew he was outmatched in raw power, but that didn't mean he was defeated. Not yet.
He wasn't known as the God of Shinobi for nothing, nor was his title "The Professor" unearned. He could unleash and counter any jutsu that wasn't Onoki's Kekkei Tota, which he could easily dodge every time.
"You can still surrender, Hiruzen," Onoki, the Tsuchikage, said with a sneer. "You're no match for us three."
Ay cracked his knuckles and encased his body in lightning. "Surrender all you want, but if you think you'll walk away from this battlefield alive, you have another thing coming."
"I WILL CRUSH YOU! And take over Konoha to find out where you hid my child."
'Such a killjoy, tsk... tsk,' the Tsuchikage thought, rolling his eyes at Ay.
Rasa remained impassive, but the golden sand swirling around him said more than words ever could.
Hiruzen's grip on his staff tightened. "I see. There's no point in talking."
In an instant, Ay launched himself forward, his speed blurring him from view. Hiruzen's eyes could barely keep up with the speed of the fastest ninja in the current shinobi world, but he smiled.
Decades of experience guided Hiruzen's instincts. He raised his staff just in time, blocking Ay's thunderous punch. The force of the impact sent a shockwave through the ground, cracking the earth beneath them.
Ay didn't relent, following up with a barrage of strikes, each faster and more powerful than the last. Hiruzen blocked everything without changing his position, placing his staff right where Raikage would attack.
With his precision and skill, Hiruzen proved once more that on a battlefield, prediction is the real king.
No matter how fast you are, you'd still be helpless against someone relative in speed but faster in thinking and either more experienced or just better at reading their opponents.
That said, with the kind of 'never give up' spirit you'd find in an anime, you'd probably pull through in the end.
"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!" Hiruzen slammed his hand onto the ground, raising a massive wall of earth to block Ay's relentless assault.
"Gold Dust Tsunami!" Rasa's voice rang out as a tidal wave of golden sand surged toward Hiruzen from the side, aiming to crush him while he was distracted.
The earth wall crumbled under the combined pressure of Ay's strikes and Rasa's golden sand. Hiruzen leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding being caught in the crushing forces from both sides. But just as he gained height, a shadow loomed over him.
"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"
Onoki's voice echoed ominously as the Tsuchikage formed a massive cube of energy in his hands, ready to disintegrate everything in its path. The cube expanded rapidly, aiming directly for Hiruzen.
Without wasting a single second, Hiruzen let go of the Enma staff, which struck him out of the way. He was pushed clear of the Dust Release due to the rebound.
"You're slowing down, Hiruzen!" Onoki taunted, though he was annoyed in his heart. 'Why did he have to avoid this perfectly timed attack? He's still the God of Shinobi.'
Enma's staff flew back to Hiruzen's hands just as he landed. He was running out of stamina, but he was still Hiruzen Sarutobi, the strongest ninja alive in the current time and era.
But Hiruzen wasn't out of tricks yet. He thrust his staff into the ground and began weaving hand signs at incredible speed. "Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"
A massive dragon-shaped stream of fire erupted from his mouth, roaring toward the three Kage. Rasa quickly moved his gold sand to shield himself and Onoki, while Ay dodged the flames with his Lightning Chakra Mode, appearing beside Hiruzen in an instant.
"You're finished!" Ay roared as he dashed forward, seeing that Onoki was preparing to launch another attack and Rasa was creating a dome of sand around them, trying to isolate the Kage battlefield, even if the dome would only last a few seconds.
Right as Hiruzen stopped spewing his flames, Ay appeared beside him, his fist just a centimeter away from sending Hiruzen into the Dust Release.
And then it happened.
A streak of lightning tore across the battlefield. Ay's charge halted mid-stride as a crackling bolt slammed into him, sending him skidding across the ground.
"Flash Step: Lightning Jet Kick"
The battlefield stilled, Onoki's Dust Release veering off course as the shockwave disrupted his concentration. Hiruzen dodged the stray attack, landing just as silence settled over the field.
Ay groaned and his eyes turned red with anger. "Who the hell dares—" His voice cut off as his sharp eyes locked onto the figure, painting disbelief over his features.
"Aki," he whispered, almost too quiet to hear. For a moment, his hardened expression cracked, emotion flooded his voice. He took a stumbling step forward, and then as if trying to tear his lungs apart he shouted. "Aki?! Is it… really you?!"
The young man stepped forward, his Lightning Chakra Mode crackling. "Father," he said. "I'm back."
Ay stared, his hands shaking. "You're alive…" His voice wavered, and after a moment, he continued, "I thought… I thought you were gone."
Aki nodded. "I almost did die, after all Danzo threw me into the ocean, hoping I'd disappear forever."
'I still can't believe why would Danzo of all people use this method to dispose of me, he was supposed to be an efficient villain not a third rate.' Aki thought to himself.
A sharp gasp rippled through the shinobi watching from afar, but Ay heard nothing else. His world narrowed to Aki; the son he thought he had lost. He clenched his fists as relief and then anger warred to bulge his veins.
The shinobi around them murmured. Even Hiruzen looked stunned, his mind already connecting the dots. For first time in his life this wiseman was wondering why did he place so much trust in his fellow disciple.
Aki's words barely registered in Ay's mind; his face turned red with rage. His body trembled with lightning as he crossed the battlefield and grabbed Hiruzen by the collar in one smooth motion catching the Hokage off-guard.
"Where is Danzo?" he shouted. "Where is that bastard hiding?! I'll kill him this instant!"
Hiruzen didn't resist. "Danzo vanished a few days after we thought Aki had successfully escaped the village.
His actions were not sanctioned by Konoha. If I knew what he was upto, I would have taken action."
"Yet you fail to say where that bastard is". The Raikage's rage did not calm down and he wasn't buying anything Hiruzen spewed out at that moment, he was about to smash Hiruzen around when a small hand appeared on his shoulder and calmed him down.
Ay stared at his son, a raging inferno burned behind his piercing gaze. His instincts screamed vengeance, to crush anyone that hurt his son, to destroy Konoha that gave birth to such a person, and to eradicate land of fire for holding such place.
But sight of Aki, his son—alive and standing strong—overpowered his every other thought. Ay let go and shoved Hiruzen back. He allowed a single moment of vulnerability as he asked Aki. "What do you want to do?"
"This war has to stop," Aki said, his voice steady. "Too many have already died. I want to go home. With you."
Ay looked at his son for a moment before nodding. "If that's what you want, then it's over. We're going home."
Hiruzen stepped forward, now that the situation had calmed a little. "Aki, Konoha never abandoned you. We searched for you when you disappeared. Danzo acted on his own—his decisions do not reflect the will of the Leaf, the Will of Fire."
Ay's anger threatened to erupt once more as veins bulged over his arm as he heard the name Danzo. Aki, who was still holding onto Ay, tightened his grip calming the Raikage down.
Aki turned to Hiruzen. "And yet you let him do whatever he wanted. You let him run unchecked. You knew what he was capable of."
Hiruzen's expression didn't change, but his voice grew serious. "I tolerated Danzo for the sake of the village, but it's clear now that I made a mistake. I take responsibility for that."
Aki's eyes narrowed. "And you lied to me. You told me Hiashi was my father. If that were true, Kumo could never have taken me unless my father or uncle Bee took action."
"I…" Hiruzen began, but Aki cut him off. "I've known for years Hiashi isn't my father. I'm too good-looking to be his son."
Hiruzen let out a small sigh, but his tone remained serious. "If you're sincere about this, then prove it. Find out who my real father is."
Hiruzen gave a slow nod. "I will. You have my word."
Aki turned to Ay, who was already looking around at the other Kage. "We need to be sure the war is really over; we can't leave our people to die."
Ay's jaw tightened as he nodded and turned to the other Kage. "You heard him. This war ends now. Anyone who has a problem with that, answers to me."
Rasa hesitated, ending the war too soon meant fewer gains than losses—especially for the Land of Wind, whose economy was already strained.
Onoki clenched his fists thinking, 'It's not good, we should have killed Hiruzen when we had the chance.' He was annoyed but he was used to Ay's impulsive nature.
'With both of them united, it's over. If they team up, it's an instant game over for Rasa and me. Adding that boy to the equation makes it a 3v2. We don't stand a chance.'
"The Raikage is right. The cost of this war is too high. It's over." Onoki added after a little deliberation, which he did while Rasa took his time answering.
Rasa was stunned as he looked at the old Tsuchikage, then nodded slowly. "Yes, this conflict has taken too much from all of us. It's time to end it."
Ay nodded, relieved. "Then, it's decided. We're all pulling back. We can finally go home."
Hiruzen stepped forward again. "Konoha will honor the ceasefire. We've all lost too much. Let's make sure this never happens again."
With that, Aki turned to Ay, his expression softening. "Let's go."
Aki kept his guard up as they walked away, still encased in his Lightning Chakra Mode. He was both showing off and keeping his guard up at the same time. Hiruzen stood still for a moment, watching them leave the battlefield.
Onoki sighed as he lowered himself to the ground. "Ending the war now could save countless lives," he said. "And if that boy has the strength to knock Ay back like that, I don't want to see what else he can do. It's not worth risking our forces."
Rasa nodded. "Konoha is already weakened. We could gain an advantage by continuing the fight," It was than it clicked for him, "but if the Raikage and his forces turn against us, it's suicide. A ceasefire is the only option."
The decision was made. Shinobi forces began to retreat, one by one. Even Yagura, far in the distance, who was confused by the abrupt shift but nonetheless ordered his forces to pull back.
'Did I just pull a Shanks in the ninja world?' Aki thought, still amazed at how quickly everything had changed. The battle was over after just a few words. 'Talk no Jutsu at its finest.'
