Chapter 201: Chapter 201: Every Village Has Its Flaws—It Can Easily Collapse from Within
What Iwagakure did chilled Han to the bone. Once known as the Steam Ninja, he could no longer feel warmth—only a deep, bone-chilling cold.
Han decided to permanently leave Iwagakure, even if it meant bearing the name of a rogue ninja.
Without hesitation, Han immediately set off, leaving through a small path just like usual.
As soon as Han stepped outside Iwagakure's borders, he was surrounded by Anbu ninjas from Iwagakure, led by Kitsuchi.
Kitsuchi was the son of Third Tsuchikage Onoki. He controlled Iwagakure's Anbu and was an elite Jonin.
Han's expression darkened.
Kitsuchi warned, his voice sharp, "Han, return to the village now and I'll pretend I didn't see anything."
"In the past, I could come and go freely. Why are you blocking my way today?"
"We let you go before because it didn't seem like a threat, but now bandits are targeting the tailed beasts. No matter what, Five-Tails is still the village's property—we have to keep a tighter watch."
Steam began to rise from Han's skin, making the surrounding Anbu ninjas uneasy.
"Truthfully, I really don't want to do this."
With an earnest, honest look, Kitsuchi tried to persuade Han once more.
"If you attack us, your title as a rogue ninja will be confirmed. Think carefully."
"Do I even have a choice?"
In an instant, Han vanished from the spot, and when he reappeared, he was already beside Kitsuchi.
Han's taijutsu was unique—it relied on the power of the Five-Tails. Since Five-Tails possessed Boil Release, Han could indirectly use it as well.
Activated by Boil Release, steam erupted from Han's body, vastly increasing the power and speed of his taijutsu.
Han moved with incredible speed—so fast that Kitsuchi couldn't track his movement.
Han threw a punch, its force enhanced by boiling steam erupting forth like thousands of pounds of pressure.
Kitsuchi countered by using Earth Style Mud Wall, quickly erecting a thick earthen barrier for defense.
Other Anbu ninjas launched their attacks simultaneously, uniting in their assault on Han, the Jinchuriki of Five-Tails.
Not far away, Naruto and Jiraiya were watching the spectacle unfold.
"Every village has its flaws—it can easily collapse from within."
Naruto tightly hugged Hinata and whispered into her ear, "Hinata-chan, the way your body holds me feels too tight—I can't escape."
Hinata's ears flushed bright red in an instant.
...
Nearby, Jiraiya shot them a look of pure disdain.
"Ugh, this kid always drags a girl along on missions. And here I am—his teacher—still flying solo, while he's out here doing this. Unbearable."
"Looks like Han's starting to fall behind," Naruto observed the battle while analyzing the situation.
"The people of Iwagakure know Han's abilities well. They're boxing him in with thick earth walls, cutting off airflow to weaken his Boil Release."
"All they need after that is a sealing technique to lock down the Five-Tails' host. Not a bad strategy."
"But too bad—for you, that is. There's no way in hell I'm letting that happen."
A mischievous grin spread across Naruto's face.
"Hey, Naruto, just what exactly are you planning?" Jiraiya felt a chill run down his spine.
"Torune Aburame, it's time to show us what you've got."
As Naruto gave the order, Torune Aburame stepped forward from behind and extended both hands outward. A pink swarm of insects burst forth from his sleeves.
The pink swarm flew downward, landing on the heads of the Iwagakure ninjas.
Chaos erupted instantly.
"Where did these bugs come from?"
"What's going on with these insects?"
"They're not venomous, are they?"
Those in Iwagakure who were stung by the pink insects immediately felt a burning sensation throughout their bodies. Their minds grew foggy, and some even started taking off their clothes.
Kitsuchi froze, completely stunned.
What kind of bug was this? It didn't appear poisonous, yet its effects were ten thousand times more unsettling than poison.
"Quick! Use Earth Release techniques and surround yourselves with earth barriers!" Kitsuchi barked. He swiftly executed an Earth Release jutsu, creating several walls of earth to fully encase himself.
The remaining Anbu ninjas from Iwagakure followed suit.
With swarms of bugs overhead, the Iwagakure shinobi could do nothing but hide like turtles, afraid to step outside.
"Waah—" Naruto gave Torune a thumbs-up, heaping praise on him.
"This new ability of yours is clearly more effective than your old toxic insects. Enough to make enemies tremble at the mere mention of bugs. I believe after using it a few more times, you'll definitely earn the nickname 'Konoha Bug.'"
Upon hearing this, Torune nearly had a mental breakdown. "Konoha Bug" sounded absolutely terrible—not only unappealing but also embarrassing.
Naruto's prediction would prove accurate. In the future, Torune Aburame would indeed become feared wherever his name spread, and he would eventually gain that exact title. No serious ninja wanted to get close to him.
Torune would become Konoha's strangest individual—but that was all something for the future.
Jumping down from the battlefield, Naruto broke the seal and rescued Han, quickly fleeing along with him.
Once outside Iwagakure, Han immediately questioned Naruto.
"Why did you save me?"
"No need to thank me—it was a breeze thanks to my insects."
"Then we won't meet again."
"Wish you a safe journey."
After exchanging just a few words with Naruto, Han parted ways from the group and left alone.
[Flying Thunder God Jutsu]—I've already marked him.
"He'll serve as our bait. As long as we follow Han, Pain will come looking for us."
"Finding Pain means seeing Nagato again."
Jiraiya's eyes burned with determination. He was determined to find Pain, find Nagato, and confront him face-to-face to discover exactly what had happened.
Naruto knew all intelligence regarding Nagato, but he had no plans to tell Jiraiya everything. He intended for Jiraiya to find Nagato himself.
Naruto mused silently: Nagato's strength was formidable. With Jiraiya's help, things will be much easier for me.
After leaving Iwagakure, Han felt relieved, though he remained on high alert.
According to intelligence passed on from Konoha, an organization known as Akatsuki had already targeted him, so naturally Han couldn't afford any carelessness.
At Akatsuki's temporary stronghold, Pain and Zetsu were discussing recent events.
Zetsu's face darkened. "Originally, I thought our plan would soon succeed smoothly, but now, with Naruto involved, suddenly it feels like we've made no progress at all."
Pain's Deva Path fell into deep thought. The Akatsuki Organization had suffered heavy losses but had yet to capture even one Tailed Beast.
Suddenly, Zetsu's expression shifted.
"I just received a message from Naruto. He claims to have located the Five-Tails' Jinchuriki and is requesting backup."
Zetsu asked cautiously, "Pain, what should we do next?"
It turns out Naruto secretly established a communication link with Zetsu long ago.
"I trust neither Obito nor Naruto, but for Yahiko's final wish, I have no choice but to press on."
Several days later, Han was training in a remote location.
Unexpectedly, Pain had quietly tracked him down.
Han frowned. He had been extremely cautious, carefully selecting his hiding spot. How could someone still track him down?
"You're from Akatsuki, right?"
"That's right."
Hearing Pain confirm it, Han instantly started transforming into a Tailed Beast.
