The battlefield of Konoha. 

Morning had broken, and the scene of the village was now fully visible to all. 

Everywhere, there were broken walls and ruins. Most of the buildings had been reduced to rubble, with only a few areas untouched by the war still standing. 

There was no doubt about the immense destructive power of the tailed beasts. 

Much of the destruction came from the battle between Shukaku and Kumamoto. 

The war continued. 

Konoha, which had been at a disadvantage at dawn, had gained a renewed spirit thanks to aid from the Cloud Shinobi. The tide of the battle began to turn. 

At the heart of Konoha stood the Hokage Tower. 

Outside, a massive white bird was perched. The Konoha shinobi guarding the area watched it warily, their eyes sharp and full of vigilance. However, the bird seemed unbothered, lowering its head to groom its feathers calmly. 

Inside the Hokage's office, Mitokado Homura was meeting with Ay and his entourage, who had arrived with Suzuki. 

"We are truly grateful for the help of the Cloud Shinobi. I will personally report this to the Hokage. I believe that this cooperation between Konoha and Kumogakure will further strengthen our alliance in the future," Homura said earnestly. 

Hearing his words, Ay stood and replied in a serious tone, "This aligns with Lord Raikage's intentions. Considering the past conflicts between our villages, Lord Raikage would be pleased to see our grievances resolved through this collaboration." 

Homura nodded in approval, his face full of satisfaction. 

Ay then added in a firm voice, "Since Lord Raikage's message has been delivered, we will take our leave. Participating in this war was also meant to serve as training for me under my father's guidance." 

Homura stood to see Ay and his group to the door, only returning to his office after they departed. 

Through the window, he watched Ay riding the white bird as it flew away. The amiable smile on Homura's face slowly faded, replaced by a deep worry. 

At such a critical moment, the involvement of the Cloud Shinobi—while significantly aiding in repelling the Stone Shinobi—did not eliminate the potential threat they posed. 

Meanwhile… 

In the northwest corner of Konoha, deep within a sprawling forest, an intense skirmish was unfolding. 

On one side were a small number of Konoha shinobi. On the other, a large force of Stone and Sand Shinobi led by experienced commanders. 

Despite the numerical advantage, the Stone Shinobi seemed to be at a slight disadvantage. 

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" 

Kunai glinted as they sliced through the air, occasionally striking down an enemy. 

A Sand Shinobi captain grimaced, muttering, "This is no ordinary Uchiha. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so hard to deal with!" 

Beside him, a Stone Shinobi captain, carefully analyzing the battlefield, nodded grimly. "At least six of them possess the three-tomoe Sharingan. As far as I know, that's the highest form of the eye. 

"And look at the young man in the center, being subtly guarded by the others. If I'm not mistaken, he must be a direct descendant of the Uchiha clan." 

Following his gaze, the Sand Shinobi captain saw the young man in tactical attire. His calm expression and cold demeanor stood out amidst the chaos. 

The Stone Shinobi captain's eyes flashed with resolve. "We must take him out. Sand Ghost, join me." 

The Sand Shinobi captain nodded solemnly. 

The battle grew more intense. Despite their skills, even the Uchiha shinobi suffered casualties. 

One younger Uchiha shinobi near the central figure spoke urgently, "Lord Fugaku, you should leave. Their numbers are overwhelming, and they'll target you if you stay!" 

Uchiha Fugaku's lips tightened as he responded calmly, "Do not disgrace the Uchiha name, Kō. We are the Konoha Police Force. These are mere rabble—nothing to fear." 

As he spoke, he unfastened his cloak, stepping forward. His eyes sharpened as he addressed his comrades. 

"Prepare to strike on my command!" 

With his words, his Sharingan transformed, the three tomoe spinning in a blood-red hue. Forming hand signs with astonishing speed, he glared at the Stone and Sand Shinobi. 

"Kāśyapa's Bloodshed Technique!" 

"Buzz—" 

In an instant, the battlefield transformed. 

The Stone and Sand Shinobi found themselves in a blood-red illusion, surrounded by ancient, dilapidated buildings emanating an ominous aura. 

"It's genjutsu! Break it!" someone shouted. 

"It's no use! This genjutsu can't be undone!" another screamed in panic. 

"No, it's a collective genjutsu! We must dispel it together!" someone realized. 

But before they could act, blood-red arms emerged from the surroundings, grabbing the trapped shinobi one by one. Those touched by the arms fell lifelessly to the ground. 

Panic filled the eyes of the Stone and Sand Shinobi. 

Outside the illusion, Fugaku maintained the jutsu, his face pale and sweat dripping from his brow. 

Meanwhile, the other Uchiha clan members swiftly eliminated the entrapped shinobi. Each time an enemy fell, the illusion reinforced the terror by adding another blood arm, further disorienting the remaining foes. 

Even as Kō fought, he glanced back at Fugaku with admiration. Truly worthy of being our leader. 

But then, silently and swiftly, two shadows emerged from hiding, racing toward Fugaku. 

No one could intercept them in time. 

"Whoosh!" 

A kunai shot through the air from a distance, just as the two attackers reached Fugaku. 

"Rasengan!" 

A clear voice rang out as a figure with golden hair appeared, slamming two glowing blue orbs into the attackers. 

The Stone and Sand Shinobi leaders were flung back, crashing into the ground like meteors, leaving deep craters. 

The sudden turn of events left everyone stunned—even the Uchiha clan members.
