Naruto: Sukuna's Jinchuriki, I am Uchiha

Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Obito, I Know You’re Home

Chapter 107: Obito, I Know You're Home

The image showed Uchiha Kagami facing an opponent who could summon meteors. Despite the opponent's overwhelming strength, Kagami displayed near-dominance.

Then, another unknown figure appeared, piercing Kagami's chest in an instant and sending a spray of blood into the air.

Watching this scene, Uchiha Obito's heart clenched tightly.

"Impossible! This must be fake!"

"There's no way someone like Uchiha Kagami could be killed by that kind of guy!"

"Let's keep watching, Obito," Zetsu sighed. "The truth is more terrifying than we imagined."

The image continued.

Thick black mist poured from Kagami's body, forming a black sphere that engulfed the battlefield.

What happened inside the sphere was unclear, but one thing was certain—Uchiha Kagami was far from dead.

Even more shocking was the sheer scale of destruction wrought by Ōtsutsuki Kinjin. His attacks, capable of splitting mountains and tearing the earth apart, looked nothing like traditional shinobi techniques.

However, his power seemed ineffective against the mysterious black sphere.

And then, Senju Hashirama appeared.

His arrival was unmistakable—anyone with even basic knowledge of the shinobi world would recognize the legendary figure. His face was carved into Konoha's Hokage Rock, and his likeness was immortalized at the Valley of the End.

Hashirama launched an earth-shaking offensive against Ōtsutsuki Kinjin.

The footage cut off abruptly.

Zetsu explained, "Hashirama's Wood Release covered such a vast area that I couldn't observe the battlefield any further."

"There's more, though."

The scene resumed after the battle.

The battlefield was a chaotic wasteland filled with colossal wooden constructs. Kagami and Hashirama stood apart, seemingly at odds.

Though their words were inaudible, the tension between them was palpable.

Then, other legendary figures began to appear:

Senju Tobirama

Hiruzen Sarutobi

Orochimaru

Namikaze Minato

Hatake Sakumo

Each name represented a powerhouse known throughout the shinobi world.

Compared to this lineup, the current Akatsuki seemed pitifully weak.

"Are these people… allied with each other?" Konan's voice trembled slightly.

No matter how much faith she had in Nagato, even she couldn't believe he could stand against such a force.

No, even one of them—Uchiha Kagami—was already enough to obliterate the Akatsuki once before.

True, the Akatsuki hadn't gone all-out in their first encounter with Kagami, but that wasn't due to a lack of will.

It was because they didn't dare.

---

The only comforting news was that the legendary shinobi appeared to have turned against one another.

The bad news?

Uchiha Kagami's strength had once again shattered their understanding of the shinobi world.

Even the so-called "God of Shinobi," Hashirama Senju, was no match for Kagami.

"This is absurd!"

Yet, the reality of the situation was clear.

Before the image faded, Kagami's Sharingan swirled, and he turned his gaze toward the recording itself.

It was as though he could see through the projection, directly locking eyes with Zetsu and the others.

It wasn't a coincidence.

The disdain in Kagami's gaze was unmistakable, as if he were looking down on a group of vermin.

The expression seemed to say:

You pathetic rats hiding in the shadows—this is the extent of what you're capable of?

It was infuriatingly in character for Kagami.

Everyone in the room had, in some way or another, suffered at Kagami's hands. They were all too familiar with his arrogance.

---

"A new God of Shinobi has been born," Kakuzu declared in a heavy tone.

Among those present, Kakuzu was the only one who had fought both Hashirama and Kagami.

Though he had survived both encounters, he bore the scars of his battles with these legends.

His voice dripped with bitterness.

"He's stronger than Hashirama. And far more evil!"

How was he supposed to make money in a world ruled by someone like Kagami?

"This world is finished!" Kakuzu groaned internally. Someone take me back to a time when Kagami didn't exist!

---

"What's the deal with Hashirama and the others?" Pain asked, directing his question to Zetsu.

"They seem to have been resurrected using some kind of forbidden technique. Likely Orochimaru's doing."

"They've gone to the Land of Wind now. I didn't dare follow them further—Hashirama spotted me."

Zetsu felt a deep sense of defeat. His vaunted skills in gathering intelligence had failed twice in a single day.

Still, he consoled himself:

Well, it's Hashirama and Kagami. Being discovered by them is understandable.

---

Unlike the self-soothing White Zetsu, Black Zetsu was in full-blown panic mode.

Internally, he cursed Hagoromo.

The descendants of Hamura are dead, and you're still doing nothing, you useless old man! Get out here and deal with Kagami already!

Why don't you send Hashirama back to the afterlife? What are you even doing?!

Sadly, the Sage of Six Paths did not respond to Black Zetsu's ranting.

Black Zetsu clenched his metaphorical teeth.

He would not give up.

He would find a way to overcome every obstacle.

He would rescue his mother, no matter the cost!

---

The room fell into a heavy silence.

At this rate, the Akatsuki really might become little more than a footnote in history.

Just as the tension reached its peak, a White Zetsu clone emerged with a teasing grin.

"Hey, Obito~"

"Kakashi and a spandex-wearing green guy are in the Land of Rain. Isn't Kakashi your old teammate? Why not go say hi?"

Obito's lips twisted into a cold sneer.

"Kakashi? He's not worth my time. Sasori, you kill him. He's the son of your enemy, isn't he?"

Sasori scoffed.

"Who do you think you are, Obito, to order me around?"

"If I wanted to kill him, I'd wait until I dealt with his father first."

"And honestly, targeting the son because I can't beat the father? That would taint my art."

Sasori's gaze turned mocking.

"Why don't you go pay your old teammate a visit yourself?"

---

"You. Want. To. Die?"

Obito's voice was laced with murderous intent.

Beneath the surface of the water, a massive puppet began to stir.

This was Sasori's latest creation, crafted from materials scavenged in the Land of Wind. Infused with residual energy from the Ryūmyaku, it was his masterpiece—stronger than even the Third Kazekage.

But Sasori wasn't intimidated.

The only Uchiha he feared was Kagami.

Obito? He wasn't even worth mentioning.

"Oh, enough!" Pain's voice cut through the tension.

"We have enough enemies already. Are you really going to start fighting amongst yourselves now?"

Pain turned to Kakuzu.

"Go scare them off. No unnecessary violence."

Kakuzu nodded begrudgingly.

"Fine. I'll just vent a little by terrifying Kagami's old teammate."

Pain's Rinnegan glimmered.

"No. Just scare them away. I don't want to provoke Kagami again."

Pain was no stranger to patience. He had endured his hatred for Hanzō, waiting until the time was right to take his revenge.

For now, it seemed, patience was once again the order of the day.
