Chapter 439: Chapter 439: Tracking Down Mount Myōboku

"Jiraiya, how do we get to Mount Myōboku?"

Hearing this, Jiraiya sneered and spat, "Orochimaru, you can forget it. I will never tell you."

For the past few years, Jiraiya had been traveling across the ninja world with Fukasaku and Shima, searching for clues about the impending doom of Mount Myōboku while evading Orochimaru and his allies. They had managed to escape capture several times, but he was ultimately caught by Orochimaru's group.

For Jiraiya, Orochimaru wasn't the main issue; it was his two companions whose abilities were particularly troublesome, giving Jiraiya and the two Toad Sages a lot of headaches.

Seeing Jiraiya's stubbornness, Uchiha Obito said, "You two hold him down; I'll use my Sharingan to extract the information."

Raiko glanced at Obito and shook her head, "Let me handle it."

Having lost Ryūchi Cave, Raiko had no intention of letting Mount Myōboku slip through her fingers. The Sage chakra within Fukasaku and Shima would also be valuable supplements for her.

"Fine," Obito nodded, not arguing further. Over the years, he had come to understand that Raiko's methods were incredibly formidable.

Raiko waved her hand, and the unconscious Fukasaku and Shima floated to her side.

"What are you going to do to the two sages?" Jiraiya shouted, seeing Raiko's actions.

However, as soon as Jiraiya moved, the white snake biting him injected more venom, paralyzing him and leaving him helplessly lying on the ground, forced to watch as Raiko grabbed Fukasaku and Shima.

"Impressive Sage chakra."

Feeling the Sage chakra within Fukasaku and Shima, Raiko nodded in satisfaction and withdrew her hand.

Then, she formed a series of hand seals.

Sage Art: Sage Serpent Possession!

In the next second, two thick white serpents emerged from Raiko's body, coiling around Fukasaku and Shima, swallowing them whole.

After consuming the two Toad Sages, the serpents transformed into the likenesses of Fukasaku and Shima, whispering in Raiko's ear.

Then, the serpents regurgitated the lifeless bodies of the Toad Sages and returned to Raiko's body, merging with her.

"The two Great Sages..."

Seeing the lifeless bodies of Fukasaku and Shima, Jiraiya was filled with grief and rage.

Raiko glanced at Jiraiya and said indifferently, "Every three years on January 12th at noon, a portal to Mount Myōboku opens for one hour in the Land of Bears."

"The next opening is in two years."

Upon hearing this, Jiraiya broke into a cold sweat.

Ever since the Great Toad Sage prophesied the impending doom of Mount Myōboku, the mountain had been sealed off, isolated from time and space, only opening every three years for him to report.

Because of this, Jiraiya, deprived of Mount Myōboku's various techniques, had fallen into Orochimaru's hands.

"He's all yours."

Glancing at Orochimaru, Raiko turned and left.

With two years until the next portal opening, there was still plenty of time.

As Raiko left, Orochimaru turned to Jiraiya with a smile, "Jiraiya, any last wishes?"

Having abandoned all past camaraderie in his pursuit of Sage power, Orochimaru had even killed Sarutobi Hiruzen. Jiraiya was no exception.

In anguish, Jiraiya said, "Orochimaru, will you never learn? Tsunade will never forgive you."

Now, Jiraiya could only hope for Tsunade to take action.

"How boring!"

Orochimaru snorted and ordered his men to take Jiraiya away, locking him in his lab.

Then, Orochimaru turned to Uchiha Obito, "Are you planning to leave the Akatsuki?"

Hearing this, Obito's face darkened, and he silently nodded.

Over the years, he had been working with Orochimaru, using Orochimaru's scientific prowess to enhance the Hashirama cells within himself and his followers. They also conducted grave robbing to amass a formidable Edo Tensei army to challenge Nagato and the Flying Thunder God user.

Because of this, Obito had paid little attention to Akatsuki matters, missing many of Pain's Gedo Statue summoning meetings.

When he secretly visited Amegakure in Konoha Year 64, hoping to ambush during a supposed showdown between Nagato and the Flying Thunder God user, he found no signs of any such battle.

Investigating further, he discovered that Nagato's Rinnegan had been transplanted into Konan.

Initially planning to bide his time and ambush Konan, he soon realized she was extremely wary of him, even hiding the Gedo Statue.

Konan's Dance of the Shikigami and Rinnegan made it nearly impossible for Obito to find an opening to attack.

Frustrated, Obito decided to leave Akatsuki, collaborating with Orochimaru to create an Edo Tensei army and seize the Gedo Statue from Konan.

To this end, he even shared some intel about the Sage of Six Paths and the Ten-Tails with Orochimaru and Raiko, hoping for their cooperation.

Without the Gedo Statue, he had no means of collecting the tailed beasts to resurrect the Ten-Tails.

Seeing Obito's determination, Orochimaru nodded, "Reviving the Ten-Tails with our current strength alone won't be enough."

Obito responded, "In that case, let's continue to bolster our forces."

With that, Obito handed Orochimaru a small jar.

"This is what you wanted. Make him stronger."

Orochimaru took the jar, licking his lips excitedly.

"Of course."

Watching Orochimaru, Obito entered the Kamui space, disappearing to visit Rin's grave in Konoha.

...

Ryūchi Cave.

Swish!

In a flash, Shishou appeared on the lotus platform under the Guanyin tree.

Upon arrival, he saw Nohara Rin meditating under the Guanyin tree.

Before his duel with Nagato, Shishou had resurrected Nohara Rin using the Spirit Medium Egg, allowing her to train in Sage arts with Kushina.

Of course, unlike Kushina, who had gained rare bloodline abilities, Rin was revived like any ordinary person through the Reanimation Jutsu.

However, Shishou had given her Hashirama's cells to enhance her potential.

Years later, Nohara Rin had grown into a beautiful eighteen-year-old girl radiating youthful energy.

"Master."

The three snake princesses of Ryūchi Cave hurried over to greet Shishou upon seeing him.

Hearing the commotion, Nohara Rin opened her eyes.

Seeing Shishou, she was overjoyed.

Rin ran to Shishou, smiling brightly, "Shishou, have you finished your training?"

Kushina had told Rin that Shishou was away for training, keeping her in the dark about the battle with Akatsuki's leader.

Shishou looked at the girl in front of him, gently patting her head with a smile.

"Rin, how does it feel to be revived?"
