Naruto: the Uchiha's path

In a cold ravine Two deadly forces face each other. Each with their own form of confidence.

"Risato. we'll provide you with an opening to fall back to the main army. you need to make sure this information gets to them. This band of crooks also must be a forward scouting unit just like us, they probably have an army enroute to intercept and ambush ours." I whisper with authority.

"Yes, captain Chiyo. I'll make sure not to fail." Risato answered without questioning the order.

It may seem like a bad idea to reduce the size of your forces when facing an enemy with a similar number of forces, but this is the shinobi world. Usually the strength of an individual outweighs the amount of troops you throw at them. Its not uncommon for 1 shinobi to fight and win against multiple, it all depends on the strengths, skills and strategy of that 1 shinobi.

Risato kamatachi is by no means a very weak full fledged jonin, its just that his skills and strengths are different from the rest of his pack here therefore his capacity for open combat is not as great as the rest. Don't let the fact that his great waterfall technique managed to neutralize the great spreading influence technique fool you when it comes to direct combat he isn't the shinobi that would be first on peoples mind he is suited more for intel and ambush kind of scenarios.

"Yuhi, mikage, get ready to cover" I continue to whisper commands with seriousness.

"Understood!" Both Kenichi and mikage answers in affirmative, completely aware of the situation they are in.

"....hmph! any strategy they make will fall before our techniques and might!" The one who casted the great spreading influence technique spoke up in arrogance.

"Don't get too cocky tenshin. I can already tell they are powerful themselves especially their leader." another tried to douse the flames of arrogance on who we now identify as tenshin.

Full name, Tenshin yomura, known as the 'bloody moving stones' on the battlefield, a powerful jonin in his own right with his style of flowing earth ninjutsu that can bulldoze and cover a battlefield leaving enemies in despair as they get crushed underneath.

"You don't have to tell us anymore, captain-sakachi. I can sense it, her chakra is powerful" a distinct female voice answered.

The leader of this entire group, sakachi rindo, known as 'northern lights rindo' on the battlefield, a powerful jonin who recently rose to fame in the 3rd great shinobi world war with his signature kekkei genkai of crystal release that can reflect light and have very tough defense and good versatility.

The female of the group, kirara fuba, is a recently promoted sensing and reconnaissance jonin who's strength may not be on a level to contend with her current foes but still a very useful addition as her sensing abilities allow her to predict attacks and sniff out ambushes.

"Who cares about that! lets just rip out their hearts, bury them in the dirt and rid them of all their valuables! hahaha-" another answers in crazed laughter.

This is none other than etsui togetsu, who is the same person who radiated that uncontrolled killing intent. Its easy to see how much he enjoys blood shed and thievery someone who comes by the name 'crazed bandit' on the battlefield is most expected to have this kind of behavior

"Hmph..." The others in his team completely ignored his outburst with non-comital scoffs....

the konoha team got into a diamond formation with chiyo up front directly facing the enemy and risato in the backline ready to hit gas out of the area as soon as a chance was provided.

"Get ready!" Chiyo draws her chokuto and points it at the enemy leader.

I make myself look like I am about to dash into the enemy by drawing my sword and leaning forward. but ofcourse that wasn't the plan at all.....

I lock eyes with the enemy leader who was already prepping handseals as soon as I drew my sword and I activated my sharingan to draw him into a genjutsu in that instant

"Ugh!-Crystal release: mystic guard" A wall of red crystals fly up in that instant blocking the genjutsu from taking hold and reflecting the light of my sharingan back to me. "Phew, damn uchiha, Avoid her eyes!" I hear him shout from behind the crystal barrier.

"Tch." annoyed that my surprise tactic failed I was ready to issue more commands when-

"Earth release: earth fall!" Sensing the movements of the earth beneath us, we all jump out of the affected area- the same affected area was turning into a massive sink hole, looking ready to swallow us up and bury us an attack from none other that crazed bandit himself etsui!-

"Crystal release: growing crystal thorns!" thin crystals blast out from the the previous crystal wall aiming to snipe us while we are stuck in the air.....

I light my blade ablaze and spin. "Fire release: Crimson wheel!" searing hot fire deflecting the chasing crystals from impaling me and my adjacent comrade mid air, I land on the halted elongated crystal and dash to the crystal wall-more specifically the one hiding behind it. "Kenichi!" 

"Genjutsu: refracting light." Kenichi makes handseals and the environmental genjutsu takes hold around me blocking light and rendering me invisible as I advance. 

But my advance was cut short was cut short by a shout "She's running on your crystals right now!" That's right her advance was sensed by kirara through the genjutsu

"Gotcha!" Etsui answered and without any order jumps out from behind the crystal wall and tossed a bunch of kunai towards me with a crazed look. Still avoiding my eyes.

I pause my advance and deflected all the kunai, 4 in total.

"Earth release: scaling flow serpent!" Tenshin jumps out from the crystal barrier, also avoiding my eyes and summoning a massive fat serpent from the ground meant to crush, maim and suffocate.

"Tch" I took no chances and bid a hasty retreat jumping from the thin crystals back to safe ground completely avoiding the crushing attack. My teammates have also already landed on the ground.

"We need to take care of that sensor!" I hear mikage advise byakugan blazing, observing through the crystal wall. "She'll sus out risato's escape otherwise"

"I'll try to lure her out with genjutsu." Kenichi follows up with a quick plan.

"....Crystal release.......flowing earth.......Thats northern lights rindo and the bloody moving stone tenshin! Those are some tough enemies!" Risato makes an educated assessment of the identity of their opponents. for someone as intel savvy as him it was easy

I smirk "looks like we have some big fish in our pond, I wonder how it would feel to maim them." Radiating bloodlust, sharingan spinning, sword brandishing. About ready to go full force. 

Risato looks at her in deadpan...'sometimes you get moments like these where I wonder if she is really sane...' Risato clearly still not used to her becoming like this, doesn't really stop her because usually whenever she gets like this she always ends up dismantling the enemy bloody and winning the confrontation.

mikage gives her a glance "I'll run up with you this time."

"Nhn!" With that affirmation I make a dash with impressive speeds.

Mikage following with no less speed than me.

etsui seeing their charge..."Good! come get butchered to pieces! HAHAHA-" also makes a mad dash to meet them ignoring an order from his allies

"ETSUI NO!!" Rindo and kirara still behind the crystal wall shouts

Tenshin just shrugs and follows etsui with confidence.

all parties looked like they were ready to clash in taijutsu but then-

"Fire release Deep scorching engorge!" I stop on a dime and slash my sword down letting loose a massive surge of swelling and blazing fire towards my enemies.

Tenshin sees it with shock and quickly stops his dash, weaving quick hand seals and summoning a massive wave of rolling earth to block it. "Earth release: Spreading influence!!" also stopping estui's reckless charge much to his chagrin.

The fire release clashed with it, resulting in a breath released from tenshin but while it was doing that-

swish~ 

Both hyuga mikage and uchiha chiyoko jumps out from the side of the clash and boosting in close to tenshin and etsui respectfully.

Tenshin surprised and caught off guard pulled a kunai and readied himself for the clash against mikage's gentle fist techniques

But unlike Tenshin, etsui as reckless as he was met the eyes of Chiyoko. she instantly drew him into a sharingan genjutsu, masking her charge.

she brandished her blazing sword ready to cut through the enemies neck severing their head, all with a smile. 

Tenshin realized this but it was frustratingly too late to do anything about it!

just when mikage gentle fist and kunai were about to meet and chiyoko's sword was about to sever-

"Crystal release: partitioning crystal landscape!!!" a loud voice was heard from rindo as elongated crystals walls erupt from the ground in front of both mikage and Chiyoko.

"damn!" Me and mikage shout with disappointment as we back away quickly, both enemies were just saved by the bell. It's like a good birthday cake that was presented to you got ruined by your dog.....

Rindo emerges from the crystal wall and jumps in front of both Tenshin and etsui.

"This is why you shouldn't be so bloody cocky...." Rindo gruffed out a reprimand.

"shut it! I wasn't expecting such a combo!" Like a cat with their tail stepped on tenshin shouts back while dispelling the genjutsu on etsui.

"huh!-YOU DAMN SISSY SLUT YOU COULDN'T FACE DOWN A MAN LIKE ME DIRECTLY SO YOU HAD TO USE GENJUTSU!! WELL GUESS WHAT THAT WONT WORK AGAIN HAHAHA! YOU HEAR ME YOU BITCH! HAHAHAHA!" Etsui starts getting crazier than usual and dishing out ridiculous taunts.

My expression immediately went gloomy and irritated. "I don't care about anything else I'm cutting your head off first, darling~" My voice sounded sweet and womanly but the killing intent pouring out told an entirely different story, my chokuto pointed directly at his neck from a far.

"Captain chiyo please calm down..." mikage pleaded worried that I would be goaded by such taunting attempts.

Etsui reacted to the killing intent with a dangerous smile and an emote of his thumb slitting across his throat telling her to come get it.

"Slandering a woman like that....I wouldn't take you to the night clubs if my life depended on it haaahhh~" Rindo muttered and there was a collective sweat drop among the entire congregation almost dispelling the air charged with bloodlust.

Rindo uses that moment to weave handseals "Crystal release: Crystal needle wave" throwing his arm forward, small needle like crystals. shoot out from his arm.

Mikage and I backed away with speed while I make a subtle hand gesture to Kenichi who was farther back guarding Risato.

I sheathed my sword and Make handseals "Fire release: great dragon fire technique!" I spit out multiple large dragons made out of fire that halted and smelted the crystals aimed at me and mikage and blocking the vision of our enemies.

"Genjutsu: mirage mirroring dissonance...." a mutter from Kenichi.

All of a sudden Chiyo appeared in place of etsui.....

"WHAT!?" on instinct tenshin kicked out sending the chiyo flying but after that he immediately felt something was wrong.

Rindo looked back at him like he was stupid he clearly was not affected by this genjutsu. the chiyo tenshin kicked immediately turned back to etsui who had a hard angry expression on his face

Tenshin quickly realized what was going on and was weaving handseals but mikage was already on him his speed not slow in the slightest.

Rindo stopped his attack on the fire dragons and looked back with stupor he was affected by this genjutsu this time.

"NO, THATS ALSO A GENJUTSU!!" Kirara, who just jumped out from the Crystal wall protecting her, shouted.

Kirara's shout drew rindo out of his stupor and he looked back to the fire dragons only to find there were no more fire dragons and chiyoko's flaming blade was already directly upon him, ready to bite into him

He weaved the quickest handseals possible "crystal release: crystal armor!" summoning layers of purple crystals around his arm ready to block the flaming sword.......But then he felt something was eerily wrong. "KIRARA!!!" He suddenly shouted. 

Out of nowhere.

Rumble~

The ground breaks behind her and a blade flashes. The target?

KIRARA!

She realized too late because she was also under a genjutsu that was tricking her senses her face turned quickly to meet the attacker- Her eyes wide as it meets...

A PAIR OF COLD SHARINGAN!

Shing~ 

A head flew. unable to defend herself, Kirara was dealt with and looking at the face of the bodiless head it showed a blissful expression one could only speculate at what kind of dream the sharingan forced her into before she was cleanly butchered......This was the horror of the sharingans genjutsu.

First blood was finally drawn just like that.

"You've got to be kidding me!!!" Tenshin shouted out his confidence wavered for a moment.

Rindo still on the way to intercept the chiyo in front of him, because this whole sequence of events took only a second of time to play out, curses out in shock "FUCKING SHIT!" before punching through the illusion of chiyo that got close, dismantling it. 

he pulsed his chakra and flushed the genjutsu from his system revealing that the the Chiyo that assassinated kirara was real but the mikage that appeared suddenly to attack tenshin disappeared and there was no longer a kamatachi behind the Kenichi-

HE FINALLY FLED UNDER KENICHI'S GENJUTSU!!

And now the mikage was standing side to side with Kenichi facing down the iwa-nin together....

An eruption of killing intent bursts out from none other than ETSUI TOGETSU. 

"YOU DAMN BITCH!! YOU DID IT AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME YOU DIDNT COME FOR ME!! WHO DOES THAT!! ILL CUT YOU INTO PIECES, BURY YOU AND SELL YOUR ORGANS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER-" Etsui went off before he was rudely interrupted by his target of disparaging.

"SHUT UP ALREADY!! MY EARS ARE BLEEDING!! IF YOUR NOT JUST ALL TALK THEN JUST COME AND DO IT!! YOU BALL-LESS MONKEY!!!" I clap back with no less killing intent and taunting while picking my ear....

 "ETSUI NO!!!" Rindo and tenshin tried to shout and command him but it was already too late because etsui was already half way towards her while weaving handseals. The craziest expression on his face!

"Earth release: Fist rock technique!!!" Bundles of rock solidifies and hardens around his right fist as he dashes in for a taijutsu confrontation "HAHAHAHAH-" He laughs like mad while he lunges....

Rindo and Tenshin about to follow up with etsui on attacking chiyo were stopped by a kunai slipping past them and landing right in front of them. This alone wouldn't of deterred them but what came after did 

Tssssss~!

A sizzling sound was heard and both tenshin and rindo immediately felt the danger and jumped back quickly as it went off-an exploding tag! 

BOOOOOOM~!!

Gathering themself from the shockwave they were immediately engaged in taijutsu by the konoha-nin. Kenichi taking tenshin and mikage taking rindo.

meanwhile on the other side etsui's rock fist finally was about to land on me of which I flicker out of the way of. The rock fist lands on the solid ground completely cratering it. While not as bad as a punch from tsunade its atleast half as powerful and could take out any ninja in 1 hit if they were not careful

"Wind release: wind blade." My blade lights up with, not flames but wind release this time I swung it and sent a shockwave of sharp wind towards etsui of which he dodged out of the way from and makes another mad dash towards me. he drove his rock fist towards my chest of which I leaned out of the way off shockwave of displaced air following that powerful punch.

Meeting his eyes, I immediately go for a sharingan genjutsu on him again but-

"NOT THIS TIME!!" The genjutsu didn't take hold. "I took a capsule that increase genjutsu resistance by a wide margin, its not the first I'm fighting genjutsu nuts like you!!" he continued while he continued to punch at me as I dodge

I sigh and my blade flashes to his right upper arm intending to cut it off to reduce his combat prowess but etsui was quick blocked it with the fist encased in rock.

"NOT SO BOLD WITHOUT YOUR GENJUTSU NOW, YOU HEARTLESS BITCH HAHAHAHA!-" He continued to mock but I was really so done with him.

"Save it! before I decide enough is enough and kill you now." I complain.

"WHAT'S WRONG! YOU DON'T LIKE ME ANYMORE IS THAT IT AWWW~ IM SORRY I HURT YOUR FEELINGS, HOW ABOUT I KILL YOU TO MAKE THE PAIN GO AWAY!!" He continues to taunt while my blade flashes, continuously being blocked by his rock fist but-

"What....gave you such confidence." a calm voice sounded out, mine....but not from the one currently attacking etsui but from directly behind him-

Pshui~

Blood gushes "ARGH!-WHAT!?!?" etsui with a sword protruding from his chest looked back with pure shock and rage....which is justified because turns out what he was fighting and toying with was a just a LITTLE SHADOW CLONE!

"honestly you were the most exciting thing to cut down I've ever come across! I should thankyou for giving me such gift!!" a blood lusted happy smile can be seen on my face "Don't worry I'll cremate you in your loved ones stead. Its a shame no ones organs are getting sold on the black market though" I lick my lips that had a bit of ash on it to drive a point home.

"Y-YOU HRGH!!" He coughs up blood before continuing "GASP-WHORE!!!-" 

"Fire release: cremation." the blade punctured into etsui's chest lit ablaze and the smoldering flames continued to rush through etsui's body engulfing him completely.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHGGHGHHGHHHGHH!!!!" a blood curdling scream that could drive dread into the toughest of hearts sounded out.

"whiff~, The ashes smell so good this evening~" I comment with contentment, people would be hard pressed to not call this woman freaky at this point.

The flames continued to dance on etsui until he no longer made noise and was nothing more than a charred corpse

I look at the corpse and nod and immediately turn to join another fight.

..........................................

meanwhile on the other side while chiyo was still fighting etsui-

a palm strike erupts! reaching near to rindo's chest but he dodges out of the way and counters with his crystal covered arms punching out, of which mikage dodges." 

"Damnit! you fiends! You really went and done assassinated her." Rindo complains mid fight. 

Mikage sagely answered "This is war. You should be expecting things like this to happen. I'm pretty sure konoha won't stop you if your armies withdraw back to your country and cease this war entirely."

"Haaahhh." Rindo sighs and then makes handseals-

Mikage tries to dash in to interrupt them but was too late-

"Crystal release: Crimson forest!" multiple pointy crystals erupt from the ground impaling towards mikage-

mikage dash's and jumps out of the way of the affected areas with great speed but still managed to get clipped by them in places drawing blood. "Tch!" He sounded out.

spikes of crystal continue to erupt as he dodges, left-right-backward until rindo stops and switches tactics.

"Crystal release: Crystal piercing wave" instead of having a swath of crystals erupt all around him he decided for a more direct straight forward attack. A wave of crystals erupts in a straight line towards hyuga mikage-

But was nonetheless still dodged "Tch!" rindo sounded out and made handseals summoning a blade of crystal on his right arm and dashing in "Crystal release: jade crystal blade!" He swipes at mikage. 

Mikage dodge a downward slash then counter attacked but his counter attack was blocked by the crystal blade of rindo's right arm, nonetheless combat still flowed with rindo swiping continuously at what could only be a fly as mikage keeps dodging out of the way of rindo's swipes. This continued to happen for a while until-

His byakugan radiating intensity, mikage finds an opening and charges in. His palm erupts, smashing into rindo's left arm. A successful hit

"URGH!" Rindo quickly retreats after. "Damn! you-" He was about to comment but he cuts himself off as he realizes. His arm is now only hanging loosely to his side, being completely unmovable.

"Apologies but that arm is useless now. I've shut off the main tenketsu powering that arm." Mikage gently and pridefully explains, as if they weren't currently enemies fighting to the death right now.

"Damn hyuga! you basically cut of my jutsu now...." rindo takes a moment to think about his situation 'atleast one of us has to escape and warn our army about this situation. The konoha army probably already knows about our plans now' rindo looks up....watching the sun almost excusing itself from the sky about to make way for the moon and night stars. 'Tenshin is my best bet hopefully etsui can atleast hold off that uchiha for just a bit longer-' his thoughts were cut off-

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHGGHGHHGHHHGHH!!!!" A blood curdling scream erupts.

And everyone jolts with unconditional unease......

'THAT....THAT WAS ETSUI'S VOICE-DAMNIT!!!' Rindo's thoughts took a spiral! Rindo was about to make a move but before he could do anything more. mikage recovered faster than him and was already on him.

Because he was down an arm he could barely defend himself leading to more gentle fists strikes landing

"hah...hah...haaaaaah..." Gasping for breath, on his knees rindo was on his last legs he felt like he would collapse at any moment-

"captain....I'm glad your on our side....." Mikage greets

"Nn, you seem to be about to finish up." That voice......

A feeling of dread erupts in rindo.....

"You can have him if you want." Mikage offers

"Why thankyou~" she takes him up on it

she crouches down in front of rindo with chokuto in hand "Is there anything you would like to say?" she asks innocently.

Rindo looks up ".........heh.....I hope........that when you finally reach the pure lands after me, we don't end up meeting each other there.....you devil.....he-hehe" Rindo jests in his last moments of life

"Oh~ that's a shame, what would you give me to make me avoid you there?~" she continues the jest.....

Rindo looks up at her, looking so done with this "Just kill me already....."

"Haaahhh...fine.....farewell." She sighs then brandishes her sword and swipes, cutting his head clean off. Thus ends the life of sakachi rindo

Meanwhile with the final confrontation on the other end-

"Die you bastard!! Earth release: earth weaving landscape!!" Two swaths of rolling earth wind up and crushes and grinds Kenichi's figure between them. "hah.....haah....." Running low on chakra after expending so much of it to fight off the genjutsu from his deadly opponent during the fight, Tenshin was just about to book it to cover and safety before 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHGGHGHHGHHHGHH!!!!" A bloodcurdling scream jolts his heart...something he never would of expected to hear from what sounds like etsui-

"Sigh~ it seems captains really enjoying herself." the voice came from many directions-many Kenichi's all of a sudden spawn in surrounding him....

"Ugh!" Tenshin was distracted but was just about to use up his already near empty reserves to try and break this genjutsu-

A blade flashes!

Shing~

"argh!!!" a massive deep cut from the top of his left shoulder continuing down to his right hip appeared, spraying blood everywhere.

Yuhi Kenichi cancels his genjutsu and walks up to the barely hanging by a thread tenshin yomura.

"Do you have any last words?" He asks calmly.

Tenshin weakly answers with blood pouring from his mouth "G-go....t-t-to hell......."

Kenichi nods and then his blade flashes again cutting open tenshin's neck-a life ending move as the sun breaths its last and the stars creep over to portray their light.......

there was silence......

"good work." Then a female voice.

"Its nothing special." he answers modestly turning to his captain. He spots mikage also following behind her which grants a breath of relief from him-everyone in one piece.

"The main army should of got the intel by now. We should rendezvous back with them-mhm, SCATTER!" chiyoko was about to have her team make pace back to the army but was interrupted.

SHING~ SHING~ SHING~

a whole bundle of kunai and shuriken blanket the location they just jumped away from

"Look what the cat dragged in!" after the barrage someone spook up, and then entire droves of shinobi came out of hiding all at once-The Iwa-nin main army! "Three out of position konoha-nin!" The spokesperson then scans the battlefield spotting 4 of his dead comrades "Tch! I didn't expect them to die a dogs death like this" he starts radiating killing intent and aura like no tomorrow. "SURROUND THEM, DONT LET THEM ESCAPE!!" he roared and the Iwa-nin contingent did as they were told.

With the way his aura felt this spokesperson could only be one of Iwa's famously powerful elite jonin. 

Regrouping together the 'Three out of position konoha-nin' as they were being referred to as found themself in a difficult position. Exits cut off. Enemy numbers staggering. No chance of a comeback.

"This is it, I guess........it was a pleasure miss chiyo" Hyuga mikage solemnly breaths out.....

"Haaahhh........the only option is a fight till death, so you two prepare yourselves." Chiyo commands calmly, looking up to the moon. her thoughts else where. Its pretty obvious where her thoughts were headed 'Don't worry I would come back from the pure lands to curse the shinobi world if anything happens to you my dear, dear yuki~' Chiyoko smirks to herself. 'and maybe then you would find some way to beat my soul black and blue like you always threaten too.'

"You two will probable have more fun doing that than me, I'm almost out of chakra." Yuhi Kenichi complained with a smirk on his face........

"Ready. ATTAC-" the Iwa spokes person who is most likely the commander of this entire army cuts himself off as he hears something...

A sound......a quiet grating sound that keeps amping up like its getting closer and closer and intensifying

Everyone in the ravine was hearing it as the annoying sound intensified.....

"This noise......" Mikage's tone lifts as he says that.

the noisiness continued to grow in base.....closer and closer until-

"NINJA ART: DEADLY CRY!!" A shout............

YES SIR. a new chapter the very next day, dogs must be raining from the sky or something heh. I had fun writing this entire chapter. I really decided to let loose on it, so I really hope you enjoyed the pure fight scenes and spectacle I did my best on it but I still have room for improvement. Stay tuned for the next chapter!
