Naruto World: I have RPG System

Chapter 2: Ren Uchiha, the Chosen One

Ren didn't waste any time. His heart was still pounding from the new reality, but he needed answers.

Without hesitation, he stood up and ran toward the Uchiha Clan's training field. To his surprise, a new function of the System appeared before his eyes—an interactive map.

"This is... incredible!"

The translucent display showed a detailed view of the Hidden Leaf Village, with marked points for every important location. The Uchiha District, his home, the ninja academy, and even the Forest of Death were all indicated there. Ren quickly realized how useful this was.

"With this, there's no way I can get lost. Knowing the exact location of everything is an absurd advantage!"

Guided by the map, he moved through the clan's streets without difficulty. The fresh morning air brushed against his face as he ran, feeling his body gradually adapting to the new reality.

Before long, he arrived at the training field. The area was spacious, surrounded by tall trees and trunks marked by countless training strikes. The ground was firm, with footprints and craters left behind by past ninjutsu training. The place exuded the essence of battle and improvement.

As soon as he stopped, Ren opened the System again. This time, he went straight to the {Attributes} section.

{Attributes}

-General-

HP MAXLEVEL: 1/100

WeaponsLEVEL: 1/50

TaijutsuLEVEL: 1/30

NinjutsuLEVEL: 1/25

GenjutsuLEVEL: 1/25

ChakraLEVEL: 1/50

Hand SealsLEVEL: 1/50

AgilityLEVEL: 1/20

EvasionLEVEL: 1/50

Ren narrowed his eyes as he analyzed the glowing screen. His attributes were well-organized, with levels varying according to each skill category.

However, something caught his attention.

"This doesn't look like a simple RPG system..."

The way the attributes were displayed was different from the conventional. He had seen games before, but this System seemed more realistic, as if it was calculating something far more complex than just random numbers.

Curious about his innate abilities, Ren moved his hand toward the translucent blue interface and clicked on the {Bloodline} tab, positioned next to {Attributes}.

In an instant, the screen changed, reorganizing the displayed information.

[Bloodline]

RinneganLEVEL: 1/50

SharinganLEVEL: 0/25

Ren furrowed his brows as he analyzed the numbers. His Rinnegan was already at level 1, while the Sharingan remained at level 0 and was marked as unavailable. He scratched his head, pondering the reason for this.

"Probably, the Sharingan is locked because the Rinnegan is already active at some level..."

He swallowed hard.

"So... can I activate my eyes?"

The idea of manifesting the Rinnegan so early brought him a mix of excitement and apprehension. If someone found out, it could become a huge problem. The Uchiha clan was proud and traditionalist, and possessing a legendary dojutsu like the Rinnegan could raise dangerous questions.

"Better keep this a secret... at least for now."

Deciding to keep this information to himself, Ren slid his fingers over the interface and switched to a new tab: {Elements}.

As the screen reorganized, he noticed it now displayed information related to his natural affinities.

[Elements]

FireLEVEL: 5/25

EarthLEVEL: 1/25

WaterLEVEL: 1/25

LightningLEVEL: 1/25

WindLEVEL: 1/25

Ren analyzed the numbers with a slight smile.

"As expected, all the nature releases."

This confirmed another great advantage of the Rinnegan. While most ninjas were born with an affinity for only one or two elements, he had potential control over all five from the beginning. This was something few in the world could boast about possessing.

He closed the System interface for a moment, taking a deep breath as he looked at the vast training field in front of him.

"If I really have this lineage... then I need to learn to use it."

Ren opened the System again, feeling the rising excitement as he navigated through the options. This time, he accessed the [Skill Tree] tab, where the techniques were organized in a vast interconnected diagram.

His eyes scanned the glowing screen, observing every available path. He soon noticed an interesting detail:

"The first jutsus of each element cost only 1 level to acquire..."

This meant that he could unlock multiple abilities at once without much difficulty. Without hesitation, he selected a basic jutsu for each chakra nature.

As soon as he made his choice, a wave of information flooded his mind. He felt a tingling in his head, as if each technique was carefully etched into his subconscious. He now understood exactly how to mold his chakra to execute each jutsu correctly.

"This is amazing... it's like I've been learning these techniques for years."

But there was no time to marvel. He needed to test these new abilities immediately.

First: Fire Style

Ren took five shurikens from his ninja pouch, holding them firmly between his fingers. Then, he closed his eyes, focusing on his chakra.

His body moved almost instinctively.

His fingers quickly executed a sequence of hand seals, the transitions flowing flawlessly. When he reached the final seal—the Tiger Seal—he took a deep breath, feeling the heat building up inside his lungs.

Ren opened his eyes and threw the shurikens toward the wooden trunk of the training field. The exact moment he launched them, he exhaled, spitting five small sparks of fire that quickly merged with each shuriken mid-air.

Fire Style: Fire Shuriken Technique!

The incandescent blades sliced through the air with a sizzling whistle, leaving a trail of heat. Within seconds, they embedded themselves into the target, slightly burning the wood where they struck.

Ren observed the result with a neutral expression, crossing his arms.

"Hmmm... the idea is interesting, but the execution... not so much."

Despite the flashy visual effect, the jutsu didn't seem that impactful. The sparks were too small to cause significant damage, and in the end, the jutsu felt more like a basic trick than a real combat technique.

"Fire Shuriken... doesn't seem that great."

He sighed, a little disappointed, but before he could reflect further, the System notified him of his progress:

[You gained 5 EXP in Ninjutsu]

[You gained 5 EXP in Weapons]

[You gained 5 EXP in Hand Seals]

Ren blinked as the notifications appeared.

"Then I gain experience with each use... does this mean that, if I train enough, I can increase my level without needing to wait for missions or real battles?"

The idea made his eyes shine with excitement. If that was the case, he could drastically accelerate his growth.

Without wasting any time, Ren raised his hands and quickly formed a new sequence of hand seals, feeling his chakra flow and shape inside him. This time, he drew the air into his lungs, focusing on the humidity around him.

"Time to test the Water Release."

When he exhaled, he felt the natural energy merging with the chakra inside his mouth.

Water Style: Water Shot!

From his lips, several compressed water projectiles were launched like high-speed bullets. They hit the wooden trunk with brutal force, leaving circular marks and splintering the wood, sending shards flying in all directions.

Ren's eyes widened as he saw the result.

"Now that's an attack jutsu!"

The impact was impressive—fast, precise, and destructive. Moreover, he felt that he could launch multiple shots in quick succession, making this jutsu extremely versatile in combat.

Excited, Ren quickly moved on to the next technique. His chakra naturally adjusted to the Earth element, making him feel the ground beneath him in a different way—as if he could connect with it.

His fingers again wove a sequence of seals, each one more precise than the last. Then, he channeled his energy into the ground.

Earth Style: Ground Explosion!

The ground beneath him trembled violently, and in an instant, the earth rose and slid abruptly forward, creating a landslide that devastated a large area of the training field.

The overturned soil formed small craters, and Ren watched with satisfaction the destruction he had caused.

"This jutsu has great destructive power... I can use it to destabilize the enemy or even block attacks."

The next technique required fewer hand seals than the previous ones, and Ren noticed his chakra flowing more lightly and quickly when using the Wind Release.

With just one hand seal, he inhaled and, as he exhaled, condensed his chakra into multiple cutting explosions.

Wind Style: Air Bullets!

Several invisible but extremely sharp gusts were fired in front of him. They hit the wooden trunks at an absurd speed, piercing and tearing parts of the bark as if they were invisible blades.

The young Uchiha was impressed.

"If this technique were used on an enemy, it could pierce the skin and cause deep cuts!"

He was beginning to understand how each element specialized in different types of attacks.

Finally, Ren focused his chakra and felt an electrical current pulse through his body. The Lightning Release had a unique vibration, as if his chakra became more unstable and eager to be unleashed.

Performing a single hand seal, he raised his hand and flicked his fingers.

Lightning Style: Lightning Needles!

Instantly, several needles made of electricity were launched into the air, leaving bluish traces as they cut through the space between him and the target.

When they hit the wood, small sparks crackled, burning the impact points.

Ren felt a shiver run down his body.

"This technique can paralyze the enemy if it hits the right spots... seems useful for strategic combat."

However, before he could test anything further, a sudden exhaustion took over his body.

His legs trembled, and he fell to his knees.

[Chakra: 5/150]

His chest rose and fell rapidly as he tried to catch his breath.

"Damn, that was too many jutsus in a row!"

He gritted his teeth as he realized how exhausted he was. Even though his body was full of energy, his chakra had been completely drained, leaving him with an intense feeling of fatigue.

It was a clear reminder that, no matter how powerful his System was, he still needed to respect his limits.

"Looks like I need to train my chakra endurance..."

But even tired, he couldn't help but smile with excitement.

As before, the System notifications appeared again, highlighting the EXP gained in the attributes of Chakra, Ninjutsu, and Hand Seals.

Ren observed the messages for a few seconds, absorbing the information. Every jutsu he performed seemed to strengthen his connection with chakra and improve his precision with the hand seals. The progress was slow but steady.

Without wasting too much time, he sighed and slid his fingers across the translucent screen that only he could see, closing the notifications with a light mental touch.

His eyes then turned to another tab in the system—the Lineages tab.

There were the two legendary ocular powers, clearly marked:

[RinneganLEVEL: 1/50][SharinganLEVEL: 0/25]

Ren furrowed his brow as he observed the status. His Rinnegan was already active at level 1, but the Sharingan was still locked—probably because he had never awakened it.

"If the Sharingan isn't available yet, does it mean I need to activate it naturally?"

The young Uchiha felt the weight of the information on him. The Rinnegan was powerful, but also a dangerous secret. If discovered, it could attract too much attention and even put his life at risk.

He couldn't just go around showing his eyes as if they were something ordinary.

With this certainty in mind, he closed the Lineages tab without hesitation.

"Not yet... I need to hide these eyes for now."

Ren took a deep breath, pushing his thoughts aside. As tempting as it was to explore the Rinnegan, it wasn't the right moment.

With the training finished, Ren decided to return to the Uchiha District.

He opened the System map again, and a glowing trail appeared before him, guiding him along a specific path.

The map was one of the most useful features he had discovered so far.

Following the outlined path, he walked calmly through the district. The streets were quiet, with few people passing by at this time. The houses, in traditional Uchiha architecture, lined both sides, imposing and with the clan's insignia emblazoned on doors and flags.

Soon, he arrived at the location marked on the map.

A simple word glowed above the structure in front of him:

'House'

Ren stopped for a moment, analyzing the building.

The residence was modest, simple compared to the mansions of other clan members. There were no extravagant decorations or lush gardens, just a functional and discreet house.

He pushed the sliding door open and entered.

The absolute silence filled the space.

His eyes swept the interior of the place. No sign of human presence.

"It looks like no one's home..."

He couldn't tell if there were parents or if they were out on a mission. Deep down, he didn't really care about that.

Without further delay, he went straight to the room and threw himself onto the futon, feeling the exhaustion from the training weigh down on his body.

Fatigue took over his muscles.

In a few minutes, he closed his eyes and sank into a deep sleep.

The sun was already shining in the sky when Ren headed for the backyard of the house. The place was spacious, with firm ground and few obstacles, ideal for training.

He sat on the ground, crossing his legs, and began to gather his chakra.

Inhaling and exhaling slowly, Ren focused on the energy flowing within his body, guiding it carefully through the chakra channels. The sensation was subtle, but he could feel the energy circulation increasing as he practiced.

Minutes passed.

The silence of the backyard was broken only by the sound of his breathing.

He stayed there, steady, deepening his connection with his own energy.

Then, a notification glowed on the System screen, interrupting his concentration.

[The "Chakra" Attribute has increased to level 2!]

Ren's eyes slowly opened.

A small, satisfied smile appeared on his face.

[Chakra: 200/200]

Ren exhaled slowly, feeling his chakra completely restored after the rest. His body was refreshed, ready for another day of intense training.

However, before he could even start his next exercise, a childish voice echoed through the halls of the house.

"Ren!"

He turned toward the sound, watching a small figure approach with hurried steps. The spiky hair, slicked back in a peculiar shape, immediately caught his attention.

'Sasuke?'

The name instinctively came to Ren's mind as he recognized the young Uchiha who stopped in front of him, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"Let's train my Shurikenjutsu!"

The excitement in Sasuke's voice was clear. He seemed genuinely thrilled, as if he had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Without hesitation, the boy moved even closer and sat down on the grass in the yard, lightly patting his hands on his legs as he awaited the response.

Ren blinked, caught off guard by the sudden request. For a moment, he simply watched Sasuke, who was staring at him expectantly.

Then, a small smile appeared on his lips.

He reached out and ruffled the boy's hair.

"Maybe next time, Sasuke," Ren said casually. "I need to train first."

Sasuke's excited expression faltered slightly, but before he could protest, Ren bent his legs and, in one swift motion, jumped into the air, propelling himself with his chakra.

[You gained 5 EXP in Agility]

He landed precisely on the roof of the house, balancing easily on the wooden structure. Feeling the wind touch his face, he glanced at the notification blinking in front of his eyes and quickly dismissed it.

Now, with a wide view from above, he surveyed the Uchiha District.

The streets, the houses, the clan members coming and going—every detail was part of a familiar scene, but one that carried a tragic fate. The memory of what was to come flashed through his mind for a moment, but he quickly pushed the thought aside.

"The Sharingan..."

His eyes narrowed. He knew that sooner or later, he would have to awaken it.

The Sharingan, one of the greatest legacies of the Uchiha clan, was not just a power granted for free. It was directly linked to emotion and loss, tied to what was known as the Curse of Hatred.

The theory was simple: the stronger the emotional bond with someone, the greater the impact of the pain when that connection was broken. This emotional shock caused the Uchiha's brain to release a special chakra that directly affected the optic nerves, activating the Sharingan.

Ren furrowed his brow.

"As it turns out... I don't have anyone like that."

There was no one in his life who fit that role. No figure so precious that their loss could trigger the awakening of his dojutsu.

But, perhaps...

Before he could delve further into these thoughts, he made a decision.

His eyes turned to the house below, and without hesitation, he jumped back down.

He landed softly at the entrance, and at the exact moment his feet touched the ground, the door slid open.

There, standing in the doorway, Sasuke was watching him. This time, his head was down, and his expression, downcast.

The light in the boy's eyes had faded.

Ren immediately realized that the previous rejection had discouraged him.

He sighed quietly before flashing a small smile.

"Hey."

Ren's voice made Sasuke slowly raise his head.

"I can train later," he continued, taking a step forward. "Let's focus on your Shurikenjutsu first."

For a moment, Sasuke's eyes blinked, as if he couldn't believe what he had heard. But then, a wide smile lit up his face.

Excitement returned immediately.

"Really?! Then let's go!"

Without waiting any longer, the young Uchiha ran off, pulling Ren with him toward the backyard.

Ren watched the spark in Sasuke's eyes and smiled internally.

Maybe he still didn't have someone special whose loss could awaken his Sharingan...
