NIKKE: The Apocalypse Arrives, But the System is 100 Years Late

Chapter 229: Chapter 229: I Want to Make You Pregnant

"I won't let anyone get close to the Commander. The Commander… is mine."

With Marian's whisper-like murmur, her delicate and slender hands exerted a strength completely unfitting of their appearance. Ignoring Chatterbox's desperate resistance, she forcefully tore its head off.

"Commander, Commander, I'm amazing, right?"

Marian bounced around excitedly, beaming with joy, just like a grade-schooler who had just received a certificate for being an exemplary student.

"Amazing, amazing."

Mo Chen gave her a thumbs-up. This time, his praise wasn't just to humor her—it was genuine. Marian had grown to an extent that even he found astonishing.

She had probably surpassed the original storyline by now.

Marian blinked her beautiful eyes, stepping closer to Mo Chen with an expectant expression. She tiptoed slightly, pointing at her fair, flawless cheek with a slender finger, waiting eagerly.

Mo Chen understood the message, reached out, and pinched her soft, smooth cheek. Then, bending down slightly, he planted a light kiss on her peach-like, flushed skin.

Marian immediately beamed with delight, her entire face glowing with happiness.

Mo Chen sighed helplessly.

Why does it feel like I'm spoiling a daughter?

Except… this "daughter" was way too grown.

Her clothes were practically bursting at the seams. He'd have to get her a new outfit soon.

But for now, he had other matters to attend to.

Mo Chen stepped in front of Indivilia, taking a moment to size her up. She was just as stunning as in the game—no, even more breathtaking in person.

Only by seeing her up close could one truly appreciate the exotic beauty of this woman.

Despite her defeat, Indivilia showed no signs of panic or fear. She leaned against a steel beam protruding from the ruined structure, using it to shakily support herself. Her long legs stood out, even among her many striking features.

She lifted her head, her crimson eyes locking onto Mo Chen with an unyielding gaze, still holding onto her pride, unwilling to concede.

"I'm curious—what will you do with me?"

"Hand me over to the Ark? Let them slice me up for research? Or will you treat me as your trophy, your bargaining chip for a promotion?"

Her words carried a mocking tone, yet there was also a hint of bitter sarcasm.

Mo Chen let out a chuckle, unbothered by her provocations. He stopped a mere three meters away, his posture relaxed as he looked at her with amusement.

"And what makes you say that?"

Indivilia's delicate face seemed to be covered in a layer of frost. Her smile wasn't one of amusement but of cold mockery. Her lips curved slightly, but her eyes remained as frigid as winter's night—completely devoid of warmth.

"Power struggles, vanity, greed—isn't that what you humans enjoy the most?"

Mo Chen let out a short laugh, shaking his head. He was genuinely amused by her words, but in the next instant, his expression turned ice-cold, his voice sharp and unforgiving like the chill of deep winter.

"Still running your mouth even at death's door? You really do deserve to die."

"Would you really be willing to kill me?" Indivilia smirked, her lips curving into an elegant arc. It was a smile that carried both allure and mystery, as if she were hiding a secret. Her lips, as delicate as rose petals, parted slightly, revealing pearly white teeth. There was a tantalizing charm in her expression, a subtle seduction that was impossible to ignore.

"My appearance, if judged by human standards, is undoubtedly top-tier. Don't you think it would be a waste to kill me just like this?"

This was no longer a subtle hint—it was outright seduction. Especially those mesmerizing, soul-stealing eyes, like a black hole pulling one's gaze into an inescapable abyss.

Mo Chen took a step forward, moving toward Indivilia.

Seeing him approach, a flicker of satisfaction flashed through Indivilia's wine-red eyes—so subtle it was almost imperceptible. Meanwhile, hidden behind her, her tail stinger glowed with a chilling light, its razor-sharp tip gleaming coldly, sharp enough to pierce solid steel with ease.

One step. Two steps. Three steps…

Just as Mo Chen was about to step into Indivilia's trap, her tail suddenly lashed out like a striking scorpion, whipping through the air at lightning speed, aimed straight at Mo Chen's heart.

It was about to pierce through him.

"They say someone with a heart as venomous as a scorpion's should never be trusted… Seems that saying holds true."

Mo Chen suddenly lifted his head, a smirk curling at the corner of his lips, his eyes glinting with a mixture of amusement and disdain. At some point, his blade had appeared in his hand. A flash of steel, a ghostly afterimage, and then—the sword was already back in its sheath.

The tail, along with its lethal stinger, had been severed at the base, sent flying into the air.

"Ah—!"

Before Indivilia could even scream, Mo Chen clamped a hand over her mouth, silencing her. He leaned in close, his eyes locked onto hers with an unyielding, almost predatory gaze.

"I spare your life, and this is how you repay me? You're really pushing your luck."

With that, he lifted her up effortlessly.

Indivilia's slender, delicate body dangled mid-air as Mo Chen held her up single-handedly. Panic finally flickered across her face. She struggled, pounding against his chest, prying at his arm in an attempt to break free.

But Mo Chen's strength?

It wasn't just monstrous—it was overwhelming. If he wanted, he could crush a tank with his bare hands. Compared to that, Indivilia's resistance was nothing more than a futile struggle.

Mo Chen leaned in, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered in a devilishly low voice.

"I'm not going to hand you over to the Ark. I'm not going to kill you. And I'm not going to torture you. Instead—I'm going to make you pregnant." (T.L. Peak moment of this fic)

Indivilia froze.

She thought she must have misheard. Her crimson eyes widened in sheer disbelief as she stared at Mo Chen.

The man's strikingly handsome face carried a gentle, almost warm smile—like the friendly next-door neighbor. But his words? They carried an air of dark, forbidden temptation, as if the devil lurking in the depths of her soul had finally revealed his fangs.

"I'm going to use your body… to give birth to life."

Indivilia finally snapped out of her daze. She gripped Mo Chen's hand tightly, as if trying to create even the slightest breathing room. Yet, despite the cold arrogance still lingering on her face, a smirk tugged at her lips—one of amusement, of triumph.

As if she had just proven that not even Mo Chen could resist her charm.

"Has your brain been completely overtaken by hormones and… that filthy, milky-white fluid?" Her voice was laced with mockery. "Only lower creatures are driven by base instincts—"

Before she could finish her sentence, Mo Chen's other hand lifted.

His palm opened, revealing two glowing red cores.

The next moment—his hand struck her lower abdomen.

"Ah—!"

Indivilia's beautiful eyes shot open, wide as saucers. Her voluptuous body arched violently, her back curving like a bow, while her hips jolted upward.

It was as if her nerves had been electrocuted—her long, supple legs spasmed uncontrollably, her perfectly sculpted toes curling and uncurling with helpless, instinctual tension.

A sensation that she had never experienced before coursed through her, one she could neither understand nor resist.
