"Is something the matter, Mediator Equinox?" Elder Ribbit asked.
"Nothing, Elder Ribbit. I just got something on my mind. Please lead the way." Adrian stated as he and Elder Ribbit are now deeper in the Marsh.
Unlike the area before, the place they are now is shrouded in fog, but it is still visible. Adrian felt that the entire scenery changed about ten minutes ago. As soon as they entered a fog, he immediately noticed that they entered a pocket dimension.
The pocket dimension is still a marsh, but it is covered in fog. The fog is not too heavy that it impedes sight as they can still see about ten meters in front of them. The grass beneath Adrian's feet is also different than before as it is glowing in silver or blue light instead of green.
"This place feels ethereal." Adrian stated as he did not expect such a mystical place in the Wilde.
"This is what we call the Marsh of Spirits after all. It is considered a sacred place for all the Selvaggian Gurus." Elder Ribbit stated as his voice suddenly trailed off.
"Elder Ribbit? He suddenly vanished." Adrian exclaimed as he was sure that elder Ribbit was right next to him a second ago.
[You have been affected by the Hoodwink Fog.]
[Perception of the world around you would be twisted.]
Adrian suddenly felt his entire surroundings become rather bent. He found this incredibly odd as he does not experience this. Anything that warps perception should be unable to affect him due to the senses of a demon. The Hoodwink Fog was different compared to other things that manipulated perception.
"Strange. Time and Space is the same but the way I sense everything is warped. This is a first for me since I always had good senses as the elders say." Adrian stated.
Just as Adrian said, the changes in time and space are not distorted for him as everything is as it should be. The only thing that changed is his perception of the surroundings he has. He is basically confused on what he should believe or not believe. The fog around him did not help as well because it became thicker the moment he got affected.
"What should I do? Should I destroy it? If I do that then the Gurus might treat me harshly as they might be doing this as a test." Adrian muttered to himself.
Kabrakan gave Adrian some hints about the lifestyle and personalities of Gurus. The Gurus seem to like testing people that wander inside of their territory. They like to teach other realities or truths that they do not want to swallow. This attitude becomes a bit of a problem as they are very serious about teaching that they sometimes forget that they need to be less strict with kids even if they mean well.
"Uhmm… Guru Polliwog, was it? Can you help me out of this place? Elder Ribbit, can you hear my voice?" Adrian stated as he wanted to see if there was an answer.
Adrian repeated to call out for ten minutes but there was no answer from Elder Ribbit or Guru Polliwog. Adrian could feel that nothing is anomalous when it comes to time and space which meant that he is safe. He could even escape here just by creating a portal but that would defeat his purpose of asking help from a Guru.
"Can you guys make it out of here?" Adrian asked his soulbounds that he could telepathically talk with.
"We mostly share the same perception as you, master." The soulbounds stated.
"How about you, Kenos?" Adrian asked as Kenos would be able to perceive more compared to the others.
"Even the fog will affect me, master." Kenos replied.
"I guess I have to break through with the method that the Daemos Elders taught me then." Adrian stated as he was being observed by beings outside of the fog.

"Guru Polliwog, this is a bit disrespectful to the guest of the king." Elder Ribbit stated as he already made out of the fog and is now talking to the one that they came to meet.
"Hush child. I am just testing the young sprout. It is quite rare that demons would come here after all. I want to see how they do against our defenses… I mean see if they are as perceptive as they are told to be." Guru Polliwog stated.
"You are once again in your playful antics, Guru Polliwog. He is the Mediator of Death and a guest of the king. Please do not do this or else my head might be sent flying." Elder Ribbit stated.
"Come now, child. This young demon is very perceptive as the Hoodwink Fog actually used all of its maximum properties to affect him. He must be highly perceptive which means he will be able to come out with a little patience. The fog will definitely let him out after three hours or so." Guru Polliwog stated.
"Please kill me now, Guru Polliwog. I should not have volunteered if you were going to do this." Elder Ribbit stated as he started to sweat with his entire body.
"Look at him. He is already trying to find a way out, but the Hoodwink Fog cannot be defeated easily. This is something that I learned from the Spirit Realm after all." Guru Polliwog stated.
Guru Polliwog wanted to be playful towards the guest and terrorize Elder Ribbit along the way. He would have guided Adrian out of the fog after half an hour or so as he knew that the latter will not be able to get out easily. The Hoodwink Fog is not for beings with great perception and Guru Polliwog already knew that Adrian is that kind of being. He was about to help Adrian out as Elder Ribbit practically fainted, but a large powerful explosion suddenly sounded. A large black hole could be seen devouring all of the fog in sight.
"Stop!" Guru Polliwog shouted in panic.
