Omnitrix Tyrant: The Strategist of Universe 7

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: The Frieza Threat

Chapter 5: The Frieza Threat

Ben stood atop the rocky cliffs overlooking the vast plains of Planet Vegeta, his eyes scanning the horizon. He could feel it—the tension in the air, the subtle undercurrent of fear that had settled in among the Saiyan warriors. Frieza's arrival was imminent, and even though no one had officially acknowledged it, every living being on the planet could sense it. It was coming.

The last few days had been a whirlwind of clandestine meetings, whispered conversations, and the growing realization that the rebellion he had carefully planted was starting to take root. But Ben knew the stakes. The real battle hadn't even begun yet. Frieza wasn't someone who could be taken down easily, and neither was Vegeta, who was bound to resist the purge. In the end, Ben was playing a dangerous game, and the odds were stacked against him. But it wasn't a game he couldn't win.

The rebellious Saiyan faction that had started to gather around him had grown stronger, but they were still far from the force necessary to stand up to the full might of Frieza's army. Ben needed more time. Time to grow stronger, to gather more support, and to ensure that when the time came, the Saiyans could at least have a chance at overthrowing their oppressors.

He shifted his focus back to the ongoing sparring matches in the distance. A group of low-class Saiyans, including some of the members from his growing faction, were engaged in a brutal training session. Ben had made sure they trained hard—almost to the point of exhaustion—but it was essential. Strength alone wouldn't be enough to defeat Frieza. The Saiyans needed strategy, and that's where he came in. Ben was their strategist, their brain, and he would lead them to victory.

Ben wasn't sure what he was expecting when he first set foot on this planet, but it definitely wasn't this. The Saiyans were strong, yes. But they were also a people filled with pride and arrogance—traits that could easily be their undoing if they weren't careful. And while Ben had a strong appreciation for the Saiyan drive, it was their lack of foresight that made them vulnerable. He, however, was a master of planning. It was his greatest asset, and he was going to use it to its fullest potential.

The following day, as the sun set and the sky turned a deep shade of orange, Ben found himself alone in the training grounds, meditating. He didn't need to train his body—his time spent in the world of Dragon Ball had already enhanced his natural strength and agility. But his mind… that was something he had to continuously hone. Every battle, every step, would be determined by how well he could think ahead.

The moment he heard the distant sound of approaching ships, however, he broke his meditation and immediately stood up. The ships were unmistakable—the sleek, menacing shapes of Frieza's fleet. They had arrived.

Ben's heart pounded in his chest, but his expression remained calm and neutral. This was it. Frieza was here. And if he wasn't careful, it would all come crashing down.

---

The scene that unfolded as Frieza's ship landed on the surface of Planet Vegeta was exactly what Ben had anticipated. The ground trembled as the massive craft touched down, and the Saiyans who had been training nearby froze, looking in the direction of the ship with wide eyes. They all knew what Frieza's presence meant. The time for peace was over. Now came the purge.

As Frieza's elite guard emerged from the ship, a chill ran down Ben's spine. He had encountered the tyrant in his past life, and he knew the kind of power Frieza wielded. The emperor of the universe wasn't someone who took threats lightly, and he wouldn't hesitate to destroy anyone who stood in his way.

But Ben wasn't afraid. He knew that if he played his cards right, he could use this situation to his advantage.

As Ben and the rebellious Saiyans gathered in secret to discuss their next move, the urgency in the air was palpable. The tension had reached its peak, and everyone in the room knew that the days ahead would be crucial. It wasn't just about surviving the purge; it was about overthrowing Frieza—and if they were lucky, taking down King Vegeta in the process. Ben knew his focus needed to be on Frieza, but he also couldn't ignore Vegeta. Vegeta's pride was dangerous, and if Ben wasn't careful, the king might very well be the one who doomed them all.

A familiar voice interrupted Ben's thoughts.

"Ben, what's our next move?"

He turned to see the scarred Saiyan, the one who had first joined him. His name was Rax, and over the last few days, he had become one of Ben's most trusted allies.

Ben met Rax's gaze. "We need to get close to Vegeta. We can't overthrow Frieza without gaining leverage. But to do that, we need to control the flow of information. And we need to make sure Frieza doesn't find us before we're ready."

"How do we do that?" Rax asked, clearly eager for a plan.

"We wait," Ben replied, a cold smile spreading across his face. "Frieza's arrival isn't just about power. It's about control. But what Frieza doesn't realize is that control can be taken from him. And once it's in our hands…" He paused for effect, his eyes glinting with quiet ambition. "We make sure the purge becomes his downfall."

Rax seemed to understand, his posture straightening as if he had been given the green light to move forward with the rebellion. "And Vegeta?"

Ben's eyes narrowed slightly. "Vegeta is still a problem. His pride will make him unpredictable. We need to make sure we don't underestimate him. But once Frieza's forces are distracted by the purge, we'll strike. We need to take down the head of the snake first."

---

That night, Ben went to bed with one thought swirling in his mind: Frieza's arrival was only the beginning. What came next would require every ounce of his cunning, every strategy he had at his disposal. The rebellion was growing, but they weren't strong enough yet. Ben needed to buy them time. And time was a luxury that wasn't going to last long.

He had made his choice. He wasn't just going to survive in this world—he was going to take it over.
