ONE PIECE: FRAGMENT EXTRACTION SYSTEM

Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2

Inside Leone's mind, a vibrant and intricate cauldron appeared.

Adorning its surface were detailed engravings of mythical creatures—dragons, phoenixes, taotie, and other legendary beasts. The carvings were so lifelike that the entire cauldron radiated an aura of overwhelming dominance.

"This is your Synthesis Furnace. You now have access to first-level synthesis authority!"

A sweet yet mechanical female voice echoed in his head.

"First-level synthesis authority?"

Leone was momentarily stunned.

"With your current level, you can synthesize the following items: Devil Fruits, Stamina Pills, and Stamina Limit Pills. Whenever you land an attack on a living being, there is a chance that fragments of these synthesis recipes will drop!" the voice continued. "Once you collect enough fragments, you can immediately synthesize them for use!"

"The Synthesis System is an essential tool for adventurers and aspiring heroes. Don't forget to give it a five-star rating, dear!"

Fragments dropping from enemies upon attacking them… and they could be combined into a Devil Fruit?

Leone's heart pounded with excitement.

Where this strange system had come from no longer mattered. His only goal was clear—to become stronger!

He had inexplicably arrived in the world of One Piece. If he didn't sail across the Grand Line, battle pirates, challenge the Marines, confront the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and even stand against the Four Emperors, wouldn't that be a wasted opportunity?

More importantly, Monkey D. Luffy, his favorite character, was out there somewhere in this world. If he didn't at least meet his longtime idol, what was the point of even being here?

At that moment, a virtual interface resembling a skill tree from an RPG game suddenly materialized in Leone's mind.

[Synthesis Recipes – Level 1]

Three distinct icons appeared before him:

Devil FruitStamina PillStamina Limit Pill

Leone instinctively tapped the Devil Fruit icon.

[Devil Fruit Synthesis Recipe: Collect 100 Devil Fruit fragments to synthesize a random Devil Fruit.]

Holy shit!

Leone's eyes widened in shock.

Just 100 fragments to create a Devil Fruit?

Wouldn't that be ridiculously overpowered?

But in One Piece, wasn't it common knowledge that a person could only consume one Devil Fruit? If someone ate a second, they would instantly die from the overload of conflicting energies.

Just as he had this thought, the mechanical voice chimed in again:

"The Synthesis System has modified your body structure. You can now absorb and wield multiple Devil Fruit abilities without any limitations! Thank you for your continued support of the Synthesis System!"

Leone froze for a moment, then erupted into laughter.

This was insane.

This was beyond broken!

Before he could even process the implications, another notification appeared:

"As a first-time user of the system, you are granted a special privilege! For your initial synthesis, you only need 10 fragments instead of 100. This is a one-time benefit. Enjoy!"

One game-breaking revelation after another.

Not only could he create Devil Fruits, but he could eat as many as he wanted, and the first one required only 10 fragments to synthesize!

With that, wasn't he just a few steps away from becoming an overpowered Devil Fruit user?

"Alright! I don't know if this system is legit, but it has been inside my body for 100 days now. At the very least, I should give it a try!"

Leone's gaze sharpened as he turned toward a group of rowdy thugs drinking at a nearby tavern.

The system had said he could obtain Devil Fruit fragments by attacking living beings…

And weren't these drunken thugs the perfect test subjects?

With an opportunity like this, how could he possibly let it go to waste?

"In a place this dead, the beer's bound to be bad. Let's head to the one at the edge of the village—it's lively there. Come on, let's go!"

The gangsters, unimpressed by the deserted bar, immediately stood up and prepared to leave.

"Guests…" Maggie hesitated, wanting to remind them to pay. But the sharp glint in their eyes made it clear—they had no intention of paying. She could only sigh and shake her head, giving up on the idea.

At that moment, a figure stepped in front of the bar's entrance.

"Oi, you guys haven't paid yet," Leone said in a deep voice.

The gangsters sneered. "Hah? Are you out of your mind, kid? Do you even know who we are? You got some nerve asking us for money." Their expressions darkened as they moved, surrounding Leone in an instant.

"Leo, get back here! Don't mess with them!" Maggie's face turned pale as she tried to pull him away.

"Maggie, don't worry! I can take down a wild boar by myself now—I'm not afraid of them!" Leone reassured her.

"Hahahaha!"

The gangsters burst into laughter. "You think beating a wild boar makes you tough? That's the dumbest thing we've heard in a while!"

"Look, kid, we'll let this slide just because you're an idiot. There's no point in teaching a fool a lesson. Now, move!"

"You're the idiot!"

Leone's glare sharpened as he lunged at the thug who had insulted him.

The man was caught off guard—he hadn't expected Leone to strike first. In a flash, Leone tackled him to the ground, fists raining down like a storm.

Ding!

[Congratulations, you have obtained a fragment of "Glint-Glint Fruit"]

Ding!

[Congratulations, you have obtained a fragment of "Glint-Glint Fruit"]

Leone had landed about ten punches when the notifications rang in his head.

"Glint-Glint Fruit?! Damn, that's a Logia Devil Fruit—Admiral Kizaru's ability! I actually got two shards already!"

Excitement surged through Leone. He hadn't expected to obtain Logia fruit shards this quickly—and not just any Logia, but one of the Admiral's!

"Wait… if I synthesize the, won't there be two Glint-Glint Fruits in this world?"

He shook his head. "Who cares! As long as the fruit's ability is real, that's all that matters. Besides, if a system that lets me synthesize Devil Fruits exists, what's one more Glint-Glint Fruit?"

Determined, Leone clenched his fists.

"Let's get more shards!"

His attacks grew even faster.
