ONE PIECE : GOLDEN STAR PIRATES

20 years ago today, Buggy from Gol D. Roger's pirates lost his Devil Fruit and it fell into the sea after being surprised in the middle of the night. Because of this incident, the course of the wheel of history deviated from its original path.

"Huff Huff Huff"

A blurry figure was running fast through the forest at a breakneck speed, leaving behind only the sound of the wind being forcefully cut through. The monkeys in the trees were used to this scene and did not pay much attention to it.

The figure advanced quickly and dodged between the sharp tree branches and the falling branches lightly. It was as if its location was memorized so precisely that avoiding it became an automatic reaction.

With lightness and skill, the blurry figure made its way towards the sandy beach where the golden rays of the sun shone clearly. Now it was possible to describe the blurry figure.

The blurry figure was a young man in his twenties with spiky golden yellow hair, he was 1.9 meters tall, his muscles were well-toned and he was clearly well-trained.

He stretched out his hands and removed the bandage covering his eyes.

This person was the protagonist of this novel, Luff D Prado, or at least that was his name in this world.

Twenty years ago, Luff unexpectedly traveled to the world of One Piece and lived on this island for that entire time.

At first, he lived with his parents alone on the island, but one time his father went out to the Sea and did not return. Because of the storm, Luff was sure that his father's body had sunk to the bottom of the sea.

Because of the heartache and the loss of her husband, his mother could not bear it for too long. After three years, she went to accompany him.

Luff was thirteen years old when his mother died and he was left alone in this world.

The sadness of losing his parents in this life did not control Laff for long. Despite the beauty of this world, it was dangerous as much as it was beautiful.

In the previous world, Luff watched One Piece until they get to Egghead Island, so he was aware of many secrets of this world.

Knowing the dangers of this world, Luff trained hard in order to preserve his life. It wasn't because he was afraid of death, it was because he wanted to die in a magnificent way. He didn't want to die of old age or illness, he wanted the stories of his life to be told by future generations. He wanted to die in a huge battle, a battle that would be recorded in history.

So Luff trained hard and it wasn't in vain. The bodies of people in this world were nothing compared to the previous world.

After a few months of training, he was able to lift a rock twice his weight. After a few more months, running around the island in a short time became an easy task.

However, Luff knew that this was just the tip of the iceberg. His strength was nothing among the pirates in the sea. If we compare his strength after training on this deserted island for the past ten years, it could be compared to a pirate with a bounty of 30 million.

"Today I will finally get out of this island," Luff announced in a confident voice.

Luff turned and walked away from the sandy beach and back into the forest, following the familiar path , he made his way until he reached his home, a wooden house among the trees.

This was the wooden house where Luff's family lived together before his parents died.

The interior was well furnished and the interior was warm compared to the outside, the fireplace in the middle of the living room was burning softly and the pictures on the wall were livening up the house.

Luff headed straight upstairs where his room was.

The things he was going to take with him were already arranged in a small bag, it was just some clothes, some food and the money his parents had saved up a long time ago.

This island was self-sufficient so there was no place to spend the money.

There wasn't much, just 300,000 Belly.

Luff then moved to a corner of the room and lifted the wooden floorboards and revealed a wooden box, the wooden box was small and couldn't possibly contain any gold inside but it contained something more valuable.

Luff opened the box and inside was a fruit, to be more precise a Devil Fruit.

The Devil Fruits were the Secret Treasure of the Sea, it was extremely rare and cost a lot of money, a random Devil Fruit could be sold for over 100 million Belly.

100 million Belly was a large amount of money, enough to last for several generations of prosperity.

However, Luff did not intend to sell this fruit, but rather eat it.

The fruit was an orange-red oval shaped fruit consisting of small spherical parts with swirls, and green leaves growing above it. It was small enough to be held in one hand.

Its overall appearance looked like a large raspberry or a miniature pineapple.

"Bara Bara no Mi, who would have thought that this fruit would fall into my hands," Luff commented as he looked at the fruit in his hand.

One day, Luff was walking on the beach looking for things that the sea could bring to the shore. He found a small box floating on the surface.

Inside, he found the Bara Bara no Mi fruit.

"This fruit originally belonged to Buggy the Clown, but who would have thought that it would appear in front of me in such a form? But since this fruit appeared, does that mean that Buggy the Clown is dead or that he never ate it at all?"

"It doesn't really matter, whether he died or not, in the end, this fruit became mine and I will fulfill its full potential." Laff decided at that moment to target it.

Before he moved to the One Piece world, this was his favorite fruit. Unfortunately, Oda did not give this fruit its due.

Such a fruit that grants the user immunity to cuts once eaten was miraculous. Even Mihawk, using the Black Yoru, did not cause any harm to Buggy in the Summit War.

Unfortunately, this fruit was in the hands of a coward like Buggy.

Luff had several extensions to this fruit, from its ability to disintegrate the user's body to its other abilities, it could be developed in a similar direction as Gildarts from Fairy Tail or Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen. Both characters were top level in their shows, yet the useless Buggy was left to wield this power.

"It's still a long way to go to reach that level, I have to awaken the fruit first so I can achieve such abilities" Luff decided and immediately took a bite of the fruit.

Luff almost vomited on the spot if he didn't know that it tasted like disgusting and he blocked his mouth preemptively, its taste was almost indescribable and could only be summed up in one word, disgusting.

Luff forced himself and swallowed it in one go without chewing it at all , as soon as he swallowed it he rushed to get some water to wash the taste out of his mouth.

After that he sat down and tried to test his new ability , he immediately felt something different and his arm was detached from its place, his arm was floating in the air but he could still control and feel it at the same time.

"Wow, this is inexplicable." Luff watched his arm floating in the air then grabbed it and watched the part that was separated from the rest of his body. That part was black in color, however when he wanted the black color disappeared and revealed the blood vessels, flesh and bones.

Seeing this, Luff thought about the Law op op no mi fruit, perhaps when the fruit awakens he can do the same thing.

Luff put his arm back in its place and focused on the rest of the fruit, there were several theories about the devil fruit, one of them was that when the full fruit was eaten , the time needed to awaken it would be shorter, however, Buggy ate the entire fruit and still didn't awaking it after twenty years .

However, it could be attributed to the fact that he didn't train his Devil Fruit in the first place.

Luff thought for a while before making his decision, what if he needed to eat shit in order to awaken the fruit, he'll eat shit with pleasure.

The fruit was the size of his hand and he threw it directly into his mouth and then covered his mouth with both hands to prevent vomiting.

Luff chewed quickly and forcefully while his eyes filled with tears, however, it was soon swallowed whole.

"Ahhh, no wonder whoever eats two Devil Fruits explodes and dies, who can eat this shit twice?"

After washing his mouth with water, Luff gathered his things and headed to the back of the house, there were two graves, it was his father's and mother's grave, although he didn't find his father's body, he built a grave for him next to his mother's.

"Mom, Dad, your son is about to leave this island and go on a trip around the world, although it is risky I have made up my mind, I can't die on this island here alone, so I have decided to leave tomorrow, if I can come back here in the future I will come back to visit you"

After Luff finished speaking he fell silent as he took a look at his parents' grave one last time then stood up and slowly left.

"Goodbye, I will try to visit in the future" Luff waved back lightly as if he knew his parents were watching.

Slowly Luff moved through the forest as if he was engraving these scenes in his memory and eventually he reached the beach.

On the beach there was a wooden barrel, this was Luff's boat.

"What is an adventure without risk? Most of Luffy's adventures were supported by super luck and the plote armor . Although I don't think I have such a thing as a plote armor , luck is necessary to travel around the world. If I am destined to survive and sail around the world, this will be just another story to tell in the future. But if not, I will be reunited with my parents soon."

Luff sat on the sand next to the campfire. This was his last night on this island and he decided to spend it on the beach.
