One Piece: The Straw Hat Pirates' Max-Level Swordsman

Chapter 468 Elimination

Zoro and Kuina ran wildly on the rugged mountain road, their figures were like two gusts of wind, shuttling through the woods.

Every step raised the dust from the ground, and the branches scratched their faces and clothes, leaving tiny scars, but they ignored them and their eyes were filled with the obsession of escaping from the black-robed swordsman.

Only after the sense of danger like a thorn in the back completely disappeared and they were sure that the black-robed swordsman was not chasing them did they stop in front of a hidden cave.

The two of them seemed to have lost their support and slid down the cave wall slowly, breathing heavily. Their chests rose and fell violently, as if they were replacing all the air in their lungs.

Sweat slid down their foreheads and cheeks like raindrops, soaking their clothes and leaving dark sweat stains on them.

The pain from the wound was like a needle prick, causing them to frown slightly. Every muscle contraction was like pouring salt on the wound, but they just gritted their teeth and endured it.

"Let's rest here for a while. We all need to treat our wounds." Zoro's voice was a little hoarse and full of fatigue. As he spoke, he stretched out his slightly trembling hand and took out a piece of clean cloth from his waist. This cloth was originally used to wipe his sword, but now it became a temporary tool for bandaging the wound.

He carefully untied the blood-soaked cloth on his arm, revealing a wound deep enough to see the bone. He frowned even more, and a trace of pain flashed in his eyes, but was soon replaced by determination.

He gently covered the wound with the cloth and wrapped it around it expertly, tying each circle tightly to prevent further bleeding.

Kuina nodded as well, her face looking a little pale due to blood loss. She slowly sat down on the ground, leaning against the cave wall, and gently put down the sword in her hand.

Then, she opened her backpack and searched for the powder inside. Her movements were a little slow, and each movement seemed to exhaust her remaining strength.

After finding the powder, she bit her lower lip and sprinkled it on the hideous wound on her leg. The powder touched the wound, causing a stinging pain. Her brows knitted tightly due to the pain, and a layer of fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead, but she resisted making any sound, only her lips trembled slightly.

"What are the origins of those black-robed swordsmen? Their swordsmanship is very strange, and seems to have some purpose." Zoro frowned, his eyes full of confusion.

He looked outside the cave, as if he wanted to find the answer from the mysterious forest. His eyes were deep and solemn, and the scene of fighting with the black-robed swordsman kept replaying in his mind. Those strange swordsmanship and the determined killing intent in their eyes made him realize that this was not an ordinary battle.

Kuina responded while bandaging the wound: "Whoever they are, they must be related to this mysterious place. We must tell Luffy and the others about this as soon as possible. Maybe everyone has encountered similar enemies."

Although her voice was weak, her tone was firm. She knew that this mysterious land was full of unknown dangers, and the appearance of the black-robed swordsman was just the tip of the iceberg. They had to meet up with their partners and deal with the possible crisis together.

After resting for a while, Zoro and Kuina felt their strength recover a little. Their breathing became steady and the pain from their wounds seemed to be alleviated.

They looked at each other and saw the determination to keep going. So they decided to continue on their way and meet up with their companions as soon as possible.

However, just as they were about to leave the cave, a sinister laugh echoed in the cave. The laugh was like the roar of evil spirits coming from the depths of hell, full of malice and ridicule, making people shudder.

Each note was like an icy tentacle, crawling up their spines and making their hair stand on end.

Zoro and Kuina immediately became alert, their bodies instantly tensed, like a fully drawn bowstring. They stood back to back, tightly together, forming a defensive posture that could support each other.

He subconsciously clenched his sword with both hands, his fingers turning white due to the force. "These guys are really lingering around." Zoro cursed in a low voice, his eyes became sharper, like an enraged cheetah, staring at the shadows of the cave, ready to attack at any time.

I saw the black-robed swordsmen slowly walking out from the shadow of the cave. Their black robes became more tattered during the battle, hanging on their bodies like rags ravaged by a storm.

The black robes were stained with blood, some of their own, and some of Zoro and Kuina's. They also had many wounds on their bodies, some of which were still bleeding, but their eyes were still fierce, showing a persistence in killing and madness for the goal.

"You must die here today." A black-robed swordsman said viciously, his voice low and hoarse, as if squeezed out from the depths of his throat.

After saying that, they launched another attack. This time, their attack was even more frantic, like a group of irrational beasts. They rushed towards Zoro and Kuina recklessly, their footsteps stomping on the cave floor made a dull sound and raised a cloud of dust.

Zoro's eyes turned cold, and he shouted: "Three Swords Style? Ashura? Ichimigin!" His momentum suddenly soared, and the whole person seemed to have turned into Ashura with three heads and six arms.

His muscles bulged, veins popped out, and he exuded a powerful aura. The three knives in his hands seemed to have life, and he swung them quickly.

For a moment, the cave was filled with silver sword lights, which swept towards the black-robed swordsmen like a surging wave. Each sword light contained powerful force, as if it could tear apart anything that stood in its way.

Kuina was not to be outdone. She took a deep breath and performed a new sword move: "Tianyuan Sword Technique? Moonlight Slash!" Her sword was as cold as moonlight and waved gently in her hand.

Every swing brought an arc of sword energy, which spread towards the enemy like moonlight on the ground. The sword energy seemed gentle, but it had strong penetrating power. Wherever it went, the air seemed to be cut, making a slight "hissing" sound.

The black-robed sword masters were caught off guard by the two men's attacks, and several of them were instantly hit by the sword light and sword energy. Their bodies were blown away by the powerful force and hit the wall of the cave heavily, making a dull thumping sound.

Blood spurted out of their mouths, leaving shocking bloodstains on the walls.

But the remaining black-robed swordsmen still did not retreat, they continued to rush forward, muttering something, and the swords in their hands began to emit a stronger black light. That light seemed to be the power from the dark abyss, revealing endless evil.

"This is their last strength, we can't let them succeed!" Zoro shouted, his eyes full of determination. He rushed towards the black-robed swordsmen, faster than before.

His figure flashed through the cave like a black lightning. The moment he approached the black-robed swordsman, he jumped high: "Three sword styles? Secret? One? Three thousand? The world!" His voice echoed in the cave like a battle horn.

The three swords slashed down at the black-robed sword masters with unparalleled force, and the powerful momentum made the cave tremble slightly. Some small rocks on the top of the cave were shaken off and scattered all over the ground.

Kuina followed closely behind, concentrating all her strength on her sword: "Tianyuan Sword Technique? Falling Stars!" Her sword turned into countless starlight, falling towards the black-robed swordsmen like a meteor.

The starlight was dazzling, illuminating the entire cave. Each starlight was like a small bomb, containing huge energy. The starlight and the black light of the black-robed swordsmen intertwined and collided to create brilliant sparks.

The black-robed swordsmen felt the threat of death, and they concentrated all their strength to try to resist the attacks of Zoro and Kuina. The swords collided, making a deafening sound, and the sound exploded in the cave like thunder.

The light was so bright that it was hard to open one's eyes. The strong light was like a sun explosion, which hurt one's eyes. The light and energy intertwined together to form a powerful shock wave, which spread in all directions and blew away all the debris in the cave.

In the fierce collision, Zoro and Kuina's attacks gradually gained the upper hand. The black-robed swordsmen's defenses began to collapse, and they were like fragile ants in front of the powerful force.

One after another, they were knocked away, blood spurting out of their mouths, their bodies flying through the air like broken kites, and then falling heavily to the ground, unable to get up again.

"Damn it..." A black-robed swordsman roared unwillingly, but his voice was soon drowned out by the roar of the battle. His eyes were full of despair and unwillingness, but he could not change his fate of failure.

After a hard fight, the last black-robed swordsman was chopped down by Zoro's sword. Zoro and Kuina stood there, panting, with many new wounds on their bodies.

Blood flowed from the wounds and dripped onto the ground, forming a small pool of blood. But their eyes were filled with the joy of victory, which was an affirmation of their own strength and a celebration of survival.

"Finally... we got rid of them." Kuina said weakly, her body swaying a little, like a candle in the wind. Zoro quickly supported her, his arm around Kuina's shoulders, giving her support.

"We have to leave quickly. We can't stay here for long." Zoro said, supporting Kuina and walking out of the cave. Their steps were a little staggering, but each step was firm.

They struggled forward in the forest, supporting each other along the way. The road in the forest was rugged and full of tree roots and stones. Their figures looked a little embarrassed under the mottled shadows of the trees, but their eyes remained firm. Suddenly, Kuina's feet softened and she almost fell. Zoro hurriedly hugged her, his hands tightly grasped Kuina's arms, and pulled her towards him. "Kuina, how are you?" Zoro asked anxiously, his eyes full of concern.

Kuina's face was as pale as paper, and her lips were bloodless. "I'm fine, just a little tired. Let's take a rest." Her voice was so weak that it was almost inaudible, but Zoro still heard it clearly.

The two sat down under a big tree. The tree's lush branches and leaves were like a huge green umbrella, blocking some of the sunlight for them. Zoro took out the remaining water, and the water swayed in the kettle, making a slight sound. He handed it to Kuina: "Drink some water and replenish your strength." Kuina took the water, her hands trembling a little. She raised the kettle slightly and put the water into her mouth. After drinking a few sips, she felt better. The cool water flowed down her throat, as if injecting a little vitality into her dry body.
