One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 184: Chapter 117.1 : Sun Pirates!!

The Sun Pirates, who had traveled from far away, didn't have much information about Wano Country and were completely unaware of the existence of the hidden harbor. Therefore, they didn't know how to enter Wano.

They came up with a foolish plan.

The big ship of the Sun Pirates was constantly rising and falling in the turbulent sea currents near Wano.

Fortunately, the Fish-Man tribe is best known for its ability to read the currents, and there is no better helmsman than them. The helmsman aboard easily stabilized the ship, preventing it from being pushed by the currents and crashing into Wano's cliffside.

At this moment, led by Captain Fisher Tiger, a group of Sun Pirates jumped off the ship and disappeared into the raging sea.

When they resurfaced, they were already on a distant cliffside.

"Let's go! Climb up!" Fisher Tiger commanded.

Yes, after circling Wano for nearly half a day without finding any landing spots, Tiger decided that they would have to climb the cliff just as he did when he went to Mariejois.

Without hesitation, under Tiger's leadership, the Fish-Men began to climb.

In the glow of the setting sun, one by one, the Fish-Men started to scale the hundreds of meters high cliff of Wano.

This was no easy task. The barren, rain-soaked cliff had few places to grip, and the terrifying height was a significant test of physical endurance.

However, it wasn't too difficult for the Fish-Men. Their hands had webbing, allowing them to grip the water and hold onto the cliff easily.

What's more, the average strength of the Fish-Men is ten times that of humans. With Tiger leading them, all of them were elite members of the Sun Pirates, so their strength and stamina were impressive. Therefore, the climb wasn't as hard as expected.

Even before the sun had completely dipped below the horizon, Tiger had already reached the top of the cliff, bathed in the light of the setting sun.

"Brother Tiger, this country is huge. Where should we start looking?"

The one speaking was Jinbe, the man who had climbed the cliff faster than Tiger—truly the strongest of Fish-Man Island.

Tiger was surprised and looked ahead.

He had thought that beyond the cliff was the mainland of Wano, but instead, he saw a vast ocean—a surrounding inland sea.

This country...

He furrowed his brow.

Geographically, it was indeed as Otohime had said, very suitable for the Fish-Man lifestyle.

"First, find someone to ask where our people are."

Tiger said, "Land first, and we'll start our actions once it gets dark. We mustn't expose ourselves."

If their whereabouts were exposed, they would have to face the Beast Pirates, who had taken over this country.

Although Tiger had once done something unprecedented in Mariejois, he didn't want to fight against one of the world's strongest pirate crews.

Such a battle would spell disaster for his people who followed him.

"Understood."

Jinbe nodded seriously.

Once everyone had climbed up, they quietly sneaked into the inland sea, waiting for nightfall before going ashore.

What surprised the fishmen was that there were actually buildings under the inland sea!

It seemed as if this inland sea hadn't always existed, but that a large number of buildings from Wano had been submerged later on.

"By the way," Jinbe recalled as they landed. "It seems like we often see ancient ruins underwater around certain islands, right? Could it be that there was a great flood in this world at some point? One that submerged a large part of the land?"

"That kind of thing, whatever it is," Arlong, the third-in-command of the Sun Pirates, looked eagerly at his most admired Tiger. "Big Brother, let's start the operation!"

He couldn't wait any longer. This time, they were replicating Big Brother's great achievement!

Tiger nodded lightly and looked toward the dim forest under the moonlight. "Let's go. First, we find someone to ask for directions!"

The group quietly sneaked into the dense forest, advancing cautiously under the cover of night.

But for some reason, the quiet forest always gave Tiger a strange feeling.

Jinbe, feeling a bit restless, said, "Big Brother Tiger, I feel like someone is watching us."

Tiger's expression also grew serious. After Jinbe spoke, he realized it did feel like they were being watched.

"Spread out and search the surroundings."

The fishmen dispersed, carefully searching the dense forest around them.

But they found nothing.

"Was it just my imagination?"

Jinbe furrowed his brow in suspicion, but the feeling of being watched still lingered, like a creeping bug beneath his skin.

"Let's get out of this forest quickly."

Fisher Tiger also felt uneasy and spoke up.

The group accelerated, quickly passing through the forest, and before them lay a vast expanse of farmland, seemingly endless under the moonlight.

Tiger was somewhat silent.

This is land.

It was a sight that could never be seen on Fish-Man Island. On the ocean floor, agriculture was impossible. The fish-men and mermaids could only grow some sea products.

"Brother Tiger! What's that?"

Suddenly, Jinbei let out a low cry.

Tiger followed his gaze.

And saw a mountain range, shrouded under the night.

No, that didn't seem to be a mountain range, but a series of towering buildings.

"Is that... a factory?"

Tiger hesitated, speaking slowly.

A factory of this scale?

There were even lights still on, and it seemed like work was still ongoing.

Next to the factory, there was a town, with lights sparkling, as if the night life was just beginning.

"It looks like we're in luck, Brother Tiger," Jinbei said with a smile. "With this, we can ask someone for directions."

Tiger nodded in agreement. "Let's go and ask someone. Be careful, though. Don't let them notice us."

So, under the cover of the night, the group quietly made their way towards the town.

What they didn't know was that not long before, when they had just landed…

On Onigashima, Ian called over Drake and Jack.

"Intruders?"

Jack was taken aback, then immediately became furious. "They're looking for death! How dare they invade Wano Country! Big Brother Ian, I'll go and take care of them now!"

"Don't rush," Ian replied.

Ian waved his hand.

"As soon as they landed, they were discovered by the Tontatta Tribe. Now they're moving through the forests of Kuri. Looking at the route, it seems they're heading towards Kuri's factory. There are beasts waiting for them, so they shouldn't cause much trouble."

"But," he grinned, "Now is the perfect time to test your team."

"Leave it to us, Lord Ian!"

Drake said seriously.

Finally, it was his moment to show what he could do!

In the Kuri Region, unaware that their whereabouts had already been exposed, Tiger and his group were steadily approaching the town.

But suddenly...

Boom!

A bright light shot towards them, instantly illuminating a corner of the previously dark plain. Tiger and the others' figures were immediately exposed.

"What?"

Tiger exclaimed in surprise.

Exposed?

But why?

They hadn't encountered anyone along the way!

From the darkness, a powerful voice came, "Intruders who don't know their place, do you think you can run rampant here?"

"Brother Tiger!" Jinbe shouted in alarm.

This was bad!

The worst-case scenario had happened!

They were about to face the Beast Pirates head-on!

Tiger didn't speak. He just looked ahead, facing the bright light that was shining from a distance.

In the darkness, a group of people was approaching.

And behind them, something large was following.

"Big Brother!"

Arlong drew his jagged sword, his tone intense, "As long as we take care of these guys, we'll find out where our comrades are, right?"

Tiger clenched his teeth slightly.

There was no other choice now.

"Prepare for battle!"

He shouted.
