One Piece: With Ryujin Jakka

Chapter 190

Ryuya, possessing a scientific mind centuries ahead of his time, could easily upgrade the Mechanical Soldier Factory.

Crucially, one of his shadow clones was now the King of Goa Kingdom.

To achieve his ambitions, he needed to conquer territories, and the factory's greatest advantage was its lack of reliance on manpower—only materials were needed, and the One Piece world had an abundance of those.

The three walked towards the peak of Whiskey Peak.

Ryuya and Kuina sensed several hostile gazes upon them, but they ignored them.

Carina, oblivious, continued walking.

The hidden bounty hunters, noticing Carina's carelessness, smirked.

They observed their jewelry, thinking, Another fat sheep!

They alerted the other hunters.

Upon confirmation of their target, the bounty hunters began celebrating, a tactic to lull their prey into a false sense of security.

Whiskey Peak, once drab, was quickly decorated. The air filled with the aroma of alcohol.

The closer they got, the denser the crowd became.

Everyone greeted them warmly, puzzling Carina.

She tugged on Ryuya's arm, "Leader, why are they so welcoming?"

A figure approached.

"Welcome, brave warriors! I'm the mayor of Whiskey Peak, a town known for its wine and music.

Hospitality is our pride!" Igaram, with practiced ease, said, "We have wine as vast as the ocean.

Will you share your seafaring tales with us at a feast?"

Ryuya and Kuina exchanged amused glances.

"Of course! We love feasts!"

Their phantom disguises were three burly men.

Ryuya, a seasoned actor, laughed heartily, his booming voice echoing through the streets.

Everyone laughed along, oblivious to the danger they were in—Whiskey Peak was known as a pirate's graveyard.

Ryuya, however, knew the true horror they faced; he was a man capable of shaking the New World, even the entire sea.

Both sides laughed, their joyful sounds filling the air.

Music began to play as passersby took out their instruments.

They were led to a tavern.

A girl with waist-length blue hair, wearing a revealing outfit, danced in the center.

Upon seeing them, she approached Ryuya, dancing provocatively.

Igaram arrived with a large keg of alcohol, inviting them to sit.

He placed the keg before Ryuya, "Brave adventurers, let's celebrate with your stories!"

He drained his cup, a gesture of trust.

Ryuya laughed, "Certainly! But my stories might scare you!"

He took a large gulp of the wine, which tasted like water compared to Makino's.

He quickly drank half the keg, then, flushed, began telling stories to the bounty hunters.

The blue-haired girl sat beside him, smiling and listening intently.

Ryuya grinned, "Let me tell you about something that happened…

Do you know Big Mom, the former Yonko?"

The bounty hunters were startled.

Igaram's expression turned serious.

"Big Mom… what about her?"

"Nothing much. I attended her tea party, arriving on the last day.

I intended to enjoy the atmosphere, but ended up fighting her.

I only won because I knew her weakness."

The bounty hunters gulped. They'd heard of this battle, reading about it in the newspapers—the Dawn Bird Leader Zero's rise to fame.

Vivi, sitting in front of Ryuya, shivered.

They didn't know if this was truly Zero; he'd worn a cloak then.

But these "burly men" didn't look like him.

Ryuya produced the map Carina had given him.

"I found this in the Four Blues. Do you know anything about it?"

Igaram's tension eased slightly upon seeing the map…
