Chapter 200
Crocodile ripped his hands from the ground, transforming them into massive sand blades.
"Desert la Spada!"
With that, all the sand drawn in by the Shinshoku Rinne became his weapon.
He launched the colossal sand blade at Ryuya in the sky—a full-power attack.
Crocodile knew that holding back would lead to his defeat.
He was confident in his strength—the man who dared challenge Whitebeard—believing himself to be nearly Ryuya's equal.
Ryuya, however, remained completely unfazed by the incoming attack, even showing a hint of amusement.
He closed his eyes, then opened them, his mastery of supreme swordsmanship—Musō Kokuryū—flowing into Ryūjin Jakka. Flames surged, coalescing into a torrent of hell fire.
Ryuya was enveloped in flames, resembling a divine being.
Flames rained down from the sky like falling lotus petals.
He gripped Ryūjin Jakka and swung it downwards, the ancient blade cleaving through the air with terrifying spiritual pressure.
The air crackled with the force of the strike, a sound like thunder.
Rumble!
"Ennetsu Jigoku!"
At Ryuya's command, a fiery vortex formed in the sky, hurtling towards Crocodile.
It was a maelstrom of countless blade-like flames.
Crocodile's eyes widened. He frantically gathered more sand, attempting to withstand the attack, doubling the size of the Desert la Spada.
Boom!!!
The intense heat of the fiery vortex collided with the sand.
The sand instantly turned to glass, then vaporized.
The heat was insurmountable; nothing could withstand Ryuya's flames.
The Desert la Spada was completely consumed, its essence fueling the flames' expansion.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Sand in the surrounding area, touched by the lingering heat, instantly transformed into glittering glass.
Only Crocodile could fully comprehend the terrifying power unleashed.
Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!
The Ennetsu Jigoku completely engulfed Crocodile.
The ground was devastated as the fiery vortex swept up countless grains of sand, turning them into glass that rained down like stars.
The people of Arabasta witnessed this incredible spectacle, frozen in awe.
They had never seen anything like it, feeling an almost overwhelming urge to bow down.
The sheer power felt like the presence of a tyrannical overlord.
Only the distance prevented them from collapsing under the unintentional release of Ryuya's Conqueror's Haki.
Crocodile tried to turn to sand, but this only intensified the damage.
As the fiery vortex dissipated, Crocodile's scorched form was revealed, lying on the vitrified ground, barely breathing.
"For a Shichibukai to attempt a coup... your audacity is undeniable.
But your end is here," Ryuya stated.
Crocodile lay on the ground, looking up at the cloaked Ryuya.
He tried to laugh, but only coughed up black, charred blood.
Yet, he stubbornly clung to life, proving his strength was far greater than it initially appeared.
The reason for his inability to unleash his full power remained a mystery to Ryuya.
"I planted a bomb in the capital, powerful enough to level the entire city!
Tell me where it is, and I'll tell you where the bomb is. Otherwise, the entire city will be annihilated, and you won't control this country either!"
Crocodile was supremely confident. He hadn't expected such a vast difference in power.
But this gave him a chance to force Ryuya's hand.
Ryuya, however, wasn't intimidated. He looked towards the distant clock tower.
"If I'm not mistaken, you placed the bomb in the clock tower, correct?"
Crocodile's eyes widened. Ryuya was right, but he couldn't show any sign of panic.
He gritted his teeth, "You're naive.
Do you really think I'd put it in such an obvious place?"
"Of course, I do," Ryuya replied calmly. "Crocodile, next year, if I remember you, I'll offer incense at your grave."
Ryuya manipulated his magic, lifting the vitrified sand into the air, then letting it crash down on Crocodile.
Exhausted from resisting the fiery vortex, Crocodile couldn't turn to sand. He could only watch helplessly as the sand rained down.
Boom!
A deafening roar echoed. Crocodile was completely buried.
Crocodile, one of the Shichibukai, was defeated.
At that very moment, the top of the clock tower slowly opened, revealing a massive bomb.
Many citizens, noticing this, looked up in horror.
