One Punch Man: Heroics Start with Dual Kamui

Shinji had long envisioned merging Susanoo with Vaccine Man to create the formidable "Armored Susanoo," yet until now, he had never encountered the perfect moment to attempt it. With a tailed beast as the opponent, the conditions were ideal to finally test the fusion's full potential.

The Susanoo he summoned fused seamlessly with the rampaging Vaccine Man. Already colossal, Vaccine Man's frame expanded even further as Susanoo seemed to forcibly elongate and reinforce his body.

Wasting no time, Shinji summoned both Three-Tails Isobu and Four-Tails Son Goku, determined to defeat the Two-Tails, Three-Tails, and Four-Tails in a single battle.

As soon as the scrolls activated, the two new tailed beasts manifested in different directions. Shinji's first target was the Two-Tails Matatabi, the massive feline-shaped beast cloaked in blazing blue chakra flames. Its body was marked with the same ominous black seals that One-Tail Shukaku bore, and two long, whip-like tails swayed menacingly behind it, the unmistakable signature of the Demon Cat.

Without hesitation, Shinji commanded two light spheres to launch straight toward Matatabi.

Sensing the danger, Matatabi tried to dodge, but it had only just been summoned and was still disoriented. With the orbs moving at extreme speed, it was a fraction too slow.

Both light spheres struck, one smashing into its head and the other into its leg.

Matatabi let out a pained roar. After merging with the complete Susanoo, the destructive power of Vaccine Man's light spheres had increased dramatically. Not only had the light orbs grown several times larger, they were now covered in a layer of azure-blue energy similar to Susanoo's armor, multiplying their destructive force severalfold.

Among the nine tailed beasts, Matatabi was already on the weaker side in terms of raw strength. After taking two direct hits from those enhanced light orbs, it was immediately left in a severely wounded state.

"I'll give you a quick end." Shinji had no interest in prolonging a tailed beast's suffering. He fired several more light orbs, completely crushing Matatabi.

Son Gokū, the Four-Tails, was a gigantic ape with a body almost entirely crimson in color. It had four tails and wore a headpiece resembling the Binding Headband, fitting for a beast inspired by the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.

"Four-Tails? I think I just heard Matatabi's voice. What's going on here?" Isobu asked, still trying to grasp the situation after its sudden summoning. Spotting Son Gokū not far away, it grew tense as soon as it heard Matatabi's agonized cries.

"I hate being called Four-Tails," Son Gokū replied immediately.

"This isn't the time for that. Look at the one in the sky," Isobu warned.

It could already sense the killing intent radiating from the massive azure-blue armored giant above.

"Oh?" Son Gokū looked up at the towering Armored Susanoo. "This doesn't look good."

It could feel the terrifying energy pulsing from the huge orbs of light floating behind the giant.

"Don't underestimate him. I think Matatabi was killed instantly. We need to go all out. Let's use that move," Isobu said gravely.

"Mm..." Son Gokū gave a slow nod.

The two began forming Tailed Beast Bombs, compressing them steadily in their mouths. Once they reached the right size, they fired them at the Armored Susanoo from both the front and the side.

Shinji could have intercepted them with his light orbs, but he chose not to. Instead, both his own hands and the Susanoo's hands formed seals at once, deploying the Flying Thunder God Barrier to both the front and flank. It was a defense made from eight chains engraved with sealing formulas, which he called the Flying Thunder God Barrier.

"Flying Thunder God: Guided Lightning!"
