Chapter 13: Baphomet
Chapter 13: Baphomet
On the turbulent sea, Baphomet cruised leisurely, slicing through the waves like a sharp sword.
It had been a week since the ship set sail. While its energy source was nuclear fusion, its speed was no different from that of an average wooden ship powered by masts and canvas in this world.
Up in the lookout, Yasha—dressed in simple black and white dungarees—lay on her bare, balloon-like chest, tinkering with a sleek black-and-green sniper rifle. She had designed it herself after browsing the weapon storage, which was full of creations Luffy had made on a whim. Materials and resources were plentiful aboard the ship.
With all the fighting, drama, and man-hunting going on, the rest of the time was either spent training or enjoying free time. That's when Yasha got interested in one of the labs on board and began her new path: part-time inventor, full-time independent woman—with both career and romance in mind.
Thanks to her enhanced talent, intelligence, and references from modern weapon designs, her sniper rifle was more advanced than anything Luffy could remember from his previous life.
Even Luffy had to admit: he was impressed.
As Yasha was testing the scope's range, she suddenly spotted something and shouted below:
"Luffy! There's a huge fish-shaped ship ahead! It looks like the restaurant Nami mentioned!"
Lazing about in the deck, Luffy mumbled, "Already...? Time flies."
Honestly, if the ship weren't so luxurious and full of absurdities, he might've lost his mind. Fortunately, it was loaded with interesting features, beautiful women constantly fighting or scheming, and enough excitement to make these last seven days feel more vibrant than his entire past 18 years.
Hearing Yasha's shout, everyone quickly gathered on deck.
With their enhanced eyesight, it didn't take long for each of them to spot the silhouette of the Baratie restaurant ship.
Nami frowned. "Luffy, why are you so obsessed with finding a chef? I've eaten there before—it's delicious, sure—but it doesn't compare to the food on the ship. If you really want hand-cooked meals, I can learn!"
Luffy snorted. "What do you know? Just stick to navigating. As for the food made by the ship—I just don't like it."
In truth, it wasn't about the taste. The meals were incredible, but knowing they were assembled by him atom by atom made him feel like he was eating synthetic simulations, not real food.
Nami, annoyed, began stretching his face in all directions. "You bastard! What do you mean, 'just navigate'? Are you looking down on me?!"
Kuina stepped in, shielding the lying Luffy behind her smoking-hot body. "Nami, don't bully the captain."
Zala, Kaya, and even Yasha from up top gave Nami sharp looks.
Meanwhile, Luffy was staring at Kuina's wide, perky buttocks and the black T-thong that peeked out from beneath her blue-white kimono.
His mind was blinded.
Taking advantage of me? Are these people blind?
The poor girl was in despair. Ever since they approached Nami's home region, her stress had grown. She'd tried several times to talk to Luffy in private, but these "hateful" women always ruined her plans.
Though her Arlong tattoo was erased after her transformation, she was still, technically, part of Arlong's crew—something that, in this pirate world, could be seen as betrayal. And she didn't dare bring it up in front of the others. They'd definitely use it against her to gain leverage.
Zala, in her green kimono, puffed out her chest and rested a hand on her katana's hilt, shooting Nami a warning glare. Kaya, in a pure white robe, looked comically fierce.
Just then, Yasha called out again.
"Luffy! Marine warship in sight! What should we do?"
There was a hint of excitement in her voice.
As a newly minted pirate, this would be her first face-to-face encounter with the navy.
Kuina, Zala, and Nami were completely unfazed. They'd had their share of marine scuffles already. They were far more focused on vying for the captain's body. Kaya, though, looked thrilled.
With a quick jump spanning tens of meters, she landed beside Yasha.
"Let me see!"
Even though she could already spot the warship, the scope offered more detail. Yasha passed her a spare.
The two lay side by side, their gravity-defying boobs jiggling from every movement—an unintentional fanservice display from their light, bra-free outfits. Their efforts to seduce the captain were obvious.
Luffy didn't feel any concepts hint from the cheat device on the approaching warship. He was far more intrigued by the Baratie.
That must be the female version of Sanji—Sanju, maybe?
And on that warship? Probably that guy "Iron Fist" who shamelessly plagiarized Garp's nickname.
Uninteresting.
He yawned and turned his attention back to the drama between Nami and the sword sisters.
Meanwhile, Yasha asked, still hyped, "Captain! I request authorization to sink the warship!"
Luffy looked up at her with exasperation. "Do whatever you want…"
Kaya gave Yasha a worried glance. "Yasha, don't cause trouble. They haven't done anything to us."
Yasha scoffed, sounding far too proud. "Do I need to wait for them to attack first? Kaya, we're pirates. We don't need a reason to attack the navy."
Seeing her act like some veteran swashbuckler, Luffy quickly comforted Kaya. "Don't worry, she just wants to test her new toy. At worst, the ship sinks—no one will die."
Zala licked her lips. "I want to cut that warship in two…"
Nami rolled her eyes. "Savages. Typical of an otoko woman."
Zala snapped, "Don't call me that!"
Kuina laughed, wiggling her hips and giving Luffy an enticing view.
She was thrilled—her little trick had worked, pulling one over on the others.
Forget pirates and marines. The captain was all that mattered. This round belonged to her.
Unaware she'd been thoroughly cuckolded by Kuina, Yasha focused on the target, calculating the optimal shot.
The warship was far—so far that without enhanced vision, it wouldn't even be visible. But her sniper rifle was next-gen black tech.
With a flick of her finger, she pulled the trigger.
Vfff…
The bullet shot forward, surpassing the sound barrier several times over.
Down on the warship, a couple of guards glanced around.
"Did you hear something just now?"
"Hear what? You drunk again?"
"Maybe... Guess I'm just tired."
Back on Baphomet, Yasha lifted the rifle off the ground and sat triumphantly.
Kaya looked at her, puzzled. "What's with that smug face?"
Yasha pouted. "Idiot… just wait for it. Three… two… one—sink!"
Kaya lifted the scope again—and her jaw dropped.
The warship had started to submerge, slowly being swallowed by the waves.
Just like Luffy said, no lives were in danger. The Baratie was nearby. They'd be rescued.
Still, Kaya shot Yasha a disapproving glare.
As an aspiring doctor, life was precious to her. Killing should only be a last resort. Yasha firing at strangers for fun was… unsettling.
But Yasha wasn't fazed.
Pamper you? Please. We're rivals now. You're not just my friend anymore, you're my competition. The bestie who won't hesitate to steal your man.
Zala stood on the railing, whistling in admiration. "Yasha, you're a genius sharpshooter."
Even Nami was impressed. "Didn't expect that from you."
Kuina, now sitting on Luffy's lap, chimed in as well. "Nice shot."
But her mind was racing.
Her tall frame and wide hips had fully hidden Luffy from view—and she could feel the captain's "root of evil."
Hard. Hot. Sturdy. Big.
Don't be fooled by his 175 cm—he was a monster in other departments.
"Kuina!! Get off Luffy!"
Nami's face twisted in jealousy.
But Kuina ignored her completely.
It took the entire crew's effort to pull her away from Luffy.
Not that he needed rescuing.
Another happy, chaotic day.
Luffy was starting to really like this world.
