Otherworldly Desert Dust

Chapter 635: Paradoxical Wu Hen

Two vibrant continents, intertwining like the dual fish of Tai Chi. When Wu Hen activated his Spiritual Vision, he discovered that the Female and Male Dragons had an immense aesthetic, akin to an obsession with stargazing the Milky Way.

However, such high-dimensional life forms possess a heat and indifference like that of cosmic stars. Their bodies are so expansive that countless lives can view them as their soil, mountains, and Divine Python World, proliferating and deriving various energies from them, akin to the sun radiating light and warmth to life planets.

Yet they also exhibit a detachment, so indifferent that all matter and life within their sight become their food. Anything teeming with life that nears them will be mercilessly roasted and devoured into their vast stomach, their palate akin to a smelting purgatory for millions of life forms, a cold black hole filled with death.

Wu Hen took a deep breath, feeling an inexplicable emotion of contempt and ridicule from the Female and Male Dragon, as if they recognized him, as if they recognized him as the thorny hazelnut that once severed their palate and fangs...

They mocked Wu Hen, like a hazelnut seed being devoured just as it was growing into a towering tree, withering to a nutrient-lacking debris in their stomachs, then expelled like feces. Over time, Wu Hen's seed from this refuse resiliently grew again in the Desert Dust soil, becoming more robust, more delicious, ready to be savored again.

In the eyes of the Female and Male Dragon, Wu Hen surviving their stomach world was simply because he, like most seeds, couldn't be fully digested. If the Female and Male Dragon evolved to digest seeds entirely, the universe's sustenance wouldn't continue to grow in cycles.

In the past, Wu Hen's Perception hadn't reached a higher level, preventing him from capturing these cosmic emotions. Facing the Female and Male Dragon now, the emotions they conveyed truly infuriated Wu Hen!

"This creature even possesses the ability to travel through time. Look at the peeling skin it sheds." Mingyi pointed to the back of the Female and Male Dragon.

Their back and belly are covered with barnacle-like things, yet upon close inspection, they are Guanyin Worms clinging to the Divine Python hide. Some worms are small, some massive, akin to Ancestor Evil Mother Trees in the Cang Chu Continent. While some cling tightly to their surface, others fall like meteor fragments into the Cang Chu World, resembling pests invading a self-contained ecological star planet from outer space.

It's hard to imagine that Nuwa God End's predatory nemesis would be the Female and Male Dragon's parasites; both share a similar greed.

Red Robe Saint Cai Qiong was equally awe-struck by the scene, never before witnessing such a formidable life. While knowing how overwhelmingly strong and terrifying things outside the Cang Chu Divine Realm could be, the presence of such life still unsettled him, shattering all past pride.

"Does this too come from the future?" Red Robe Saint uttered.

Wu Hen couldn't answer. Measuring time against the Female and Male Dragon is challenging, given it could appear in minds or dreams. Its presence now signifies hunger; all life in this revived Seven-Colored Mountain and Sea will become its food, indifferent to how they persist as worms or seeds in its stomach.

"Origin unknown, it's the most formidable Predator known to us," Wu Hen declared.

"How do you know it's not an ordinary fish in an outer world? What we deem noble and radiant are akin to mayflies flitting on water. In this vast cosmic Star River, how many such daunting beings exist? There's still time to turn back," Cai Qiong remarked.

Mayflies hatch from riverbeds, fly above the waters, and under genetic command exhaust life's Qi upstream till death, spawning new eggs into fresh rivers, awaiting season-specific hatching.

To Cai Qiong, human actions mirror these mayflies; despite awe at the Female and Male Dragon's might, such cosmic Predators seem merely as an ordinary fish in a perilous river, a basic food chain, escape futile despite evolution in this Desert Dust.

Why must wings sprout, reach the water's surface, or risk life flying upstream? Is there any difference between upstream and downstream?

"We don't repeat this tragedy; how do you know myth's Phoenix didn't evolve from a mayfly trying to ascend a branch? Can you be certain the indomitable Female and Male Dragon wasn't once a regular fish?" Wu Hen was unfearful.

Previously, inexperience didn't deter him from wielding his sword against them, and it wouldn't make him flinch now.

Excitement surged within Wu Hen, thrilled the enigmatic Female and Male Dragon hadn't eluded the Cang Chu Divine Realm. To avenge being treated as refuse in his lifetime was possible.

Though grilled fish was common, charcoal-grilled Dragon wasn't tasted. No matter if these supreme Predators were the ultimate boss or a random fish in the Alternate Universe, removing their parasites, Dragon's texture would be splendid.

Silently, the sword levitated beside Wu Hen.

Meeting enemies, one's eyes grow crimson. Little Yi sprouted Miracle Seeds that, catalyzed by Electric Thunder Energy, grew into sturdy Miracle Branches and Miracle Lotus. Though Death Sword, it brimmed with vitality!

"I'll sever all your Earth Vein Crystals to incapacitate you, making you watch as I grill the tender-fleshed Mother KUN!" Wu Hen declared war furiously, the sword's gleam spilling into the mythical realms, akin to an ancient eternal Heavenly God battling for the Creation of Heaven and Earth!

Mingyi glanced at Wu Hen. Courage is humanity's anthem; Wu Hen's audacity against unknown dimensions displayed humanity's luster in full, noble and grand, yet why did his words carry a hint of peculiarity?

But it's this paradoxical Wu Hen that feels so genuinely real!
