Chapter 154: Chapter 154: The dragon princess stayed overnight.
As dusk began to creep in, all delegates from the Draconic Kingdom concluded their visit to the Church of Destiny under Enri Emmot's guidance.
"Prime Minister Herman, could you please inform Her Majesty the Queen for me that it's time for us to return to the palace?" Herman politely made this request to Enri Emmot. Yet, in his eyes, worry was unmistakable.
Nearly six hours had passed since Draudillon Oriculus departed alone with the God of Destiny, and she had not been seen since. This made Herman anxious for her safety.
Hearing the request, Enri Emmot's expression showed a clear peculiarity, as if hiding something, and she offered a reluctant smile.
"Prime Minister, please wait a moment. I will contact God Kael right now."
With that, Enri Emmot began to activate her magic.
Herman, who possessed knowledge of message magic, was not in a hurry. He kept his gaze fixed on Enri Emmot, carefully observing the changes in her expression.
Somehow, Enri Emmot communicated with God, but after a few seconds, a look of relief flashed across the girl's face, as if a heavy burden had lifted from her.
She then said to Herman, "Prime Minister, please wait a moment."
There was no indication.
Herman couldn't help but secretly frown, but on the surface, he nodded gently to the girl, "Very well, thank you."
"Oh, you're too polite," Enri Emmot replied.
After about five minutes, the delegation did not see Draudillon Oriculus, but rather a servant in a black and white uniform who approached them.
After the servant respectfully saluted Enri Emmot, he looked towards Herman and the others and asked, "Who is the Chancellor?"
"I am Herman," Herman gestured.
The servant then handed an item in his hand to Herman, explaining, "Using this device allows for magical communication, Your Majesty is waiting for you to contact her."
Although bewildered, Herman was concerned for the Queen's safety and didn't dwell on it. He immediately used the magical device called a [Walkie-Talkie] in his hand.
Dit-dit!
After a few signals, Draudillon Oriculus's voice sounded on the intercom, "Is that Herman?"
"It is I, Your Majesty. It's late, it's time for us to return to the Draconic Kingdom."
Herman replied in a normal tone, then listened carefully to Draudillon Oriculus's voice, checking for anything unusual.
Then he heard Draudillon Oriculus reply in a tone that sounded annoyed, "You all return yourselves first. I had a great conversation with the God of Destiny and I wish to stay at the Church of Destiny tonight as a guest."
"After that, Priestess Emmot will arrange for troops to return home with you. They are devout individuals who have come to help us fight against the Orc Kingdom. They are all willing to join the battlefield immediately. You must arrange personnel deployment and try to maximize their strength while ensuring safety issues. Do you understand?"
In matters of state, Herman's expression instantly became serious, and he responded to every word of Draudillon Oriculus's acknowledgment seriously, and finally received the command respectfully, "Yes, Your Majesty! I will return and immediately make deployment arrangements."
"Very well."
From the other end of the intercom came Draudillon Oriculus's voice of satisfaction, "If anything unexpected happens, contact me with this device, and Priestess Emmot will send me back to the palace tomorrow afternoon, so you don't need to worry."
Draudillon Oriculus agreed to the return date, and the Church of Destiny confirmed that they would send reinforcements to prove that there should be no problem with the cooperation.
Herman felt relieved at this moment.
Perhaps the Queen was simply intrigued by something new and wished to stay and play a little longer.
Considering Draudillon Oriculus's previous state of worrying about the nation, Herman felt nothing was amiss with that.
"Yes, Your Majesty, then we await your return at the Royal Palace."
At the end of the call, Herman carefully put away the [Walkie-Talkie], then stated to Enri Emmot, "After this, you will have the trouble of sending us back to the Draconic Kingdom, Priestess Emmot."
"It's only right," Enri Emmot nodded with a smile, but she couldn't help but internally slander God Kael.
Since the arrival of God Kael, God has become interested in women, as if awakening some strange hobbies.
Well, anyone who sees a beauty as magnificent as Her Majesty Draudillon Oriculus would be moved. It's not incomprehensible that God couldn't resist.
Just keep what the gods told you in mind first.
Enri Emmot shook her head silently, and she then asked Herman and the others to wait for a moment in the reception room to gather the members of the Church of Destiny themselves who wished to go to the Draconic Kingdom to become heroes.
Incidentally, due to the activities of the Church of Destiny, the monsters around E-Rantel had been swept away.
Now that everyone was free every day, it seemed unsurprising that so many people wished to adventure in the Draconic Kingdom.
After all, as long as two magic casters were configured, even if they went to the Draconic Kingdom to support the battlefield, they could easily travel between the two places.
You could still have dinner with your family every night, and it seemed no different from your usual adventure commissions.
