Pampered By All In Different Planes

Chapter 404: Is the Birth Mother Indifferent Like a Chrysanthemum? The Young Lady Sabotages Everything 44

His thin lips lightly enclosed her earlobe, his voice having taken on a bit of hoarseness, yet sounding somewhat sticky and blurred from so close,

"This place is indeed good, no one will disturb us."

Su Zhiruan uttered an "Oh," feeling a bit dizzy. The room was already dim, the original owner suffered from night blindness and couldn't see anything in front of her; she could only rely on instinct to feel Xie Yanshang's approximate position.

However, Xie Yanshang didn't seem satisfied with her response. The movements of his lips quickened and intensified, his hands gently lifting the hem of her clothes.

The rustling of fabric filled the silent living room, becoming the sole source of sound.

After a while, beads of sweat formed on Xie Yanshang's forehead, his breathing grew heavy, and he forcefully subdued his accelerating heartbeat,

"Let's go, we'll go upstairs."

No sooner had he spoken than he swooped Su Zhiruan up in his arms and, with a steady gait, carried her upstairs.

This series of actions was incredibly smooth; Su Zhiruan's head was still spinning when she was laid down and realized she was lying flat.

Upstairs, the moonlight was clear through the window, shining brightly so that even in such a situation, she could see the face of the man before her.

The room was infused with a faint scent of incense, sweet and cloying to the smell, making one's head light, yet pleasant to inhale.

The memories of this night were destined to be fragmented. At first, Su Zhiruan tried to keep control of the pace, but in the end, she realized she was no match for him, only able to sob softly, biting her lip in an attempt not to make a sound.

However, Xie Yanshang could be wicked, deliberately intensifying his movements, coaxing her into saying things she would never say on a normal day.

...

A peaceful night's sleep.

Perhaps because the love accumulated over the days was finally expressed, both of them uncharacteristically slept in until the sun was high in the sky.

The sunlight was warm on their bodies, half on one and half on the other, under the covers, casting a faint golden light on their skin.

Su Zhiruan opened her eyes in a daze, wanting to tug at the blanket.

But she pulled too hard and ended up drawing all of Xie Yanshang's blanket over to her side, waking him up too. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Su Zhiruan's serene face and simply stretched out his arm to pull her along with the blanket into his embrace.

"So sleepy, shall we sleep a bit longer?" Su Zhiruan, barely able to keep her eyes open, simply closed them again, allowing him to hold her as he crawled back under the blanket.

"Sleep, let's sleep a bit more, it's still early," Xie Yanshang whispered into her ear, also closing his eyes.

And so, they slept again.

By the time they woke up for the second time, it was already afternoon.

Su Zhiruan opened her eyes slowly, noting that Xie Yanshang was still asleep. She decided to get dressed first.

However, after looking around, she couldn't find her clothes anywhere.

For a moment, Su Zhiruan's mind went blank. She distinctly remembered her clothes being upstairs from yesterday; now the room was completely empty.

"Looking for something?"

A voice sounded from behind her, belonging to the awakened Xie Yanshang.

His body was appealing, lean but with thin muscles, tall with long legs. His muscles weren't overly exaggerated, laid across his arms, they suggested power.

At this moment, Xie Yanshang's voice was husky, and seeing Su Zhiruan gazing blankly upwards, he couldn't help but smile, then casually tousled her hair,

"Why the daze? I don't get to see this cute side of you usually."

"I'm looking for my clothes, where are my clothes?" Su Zhiruan turned to look at him, her eyes wide.

"Your clothes were washed yesterday; don't worry, I'll go get them for you." Xie Yanshang said, getting out of bed, slipping on his shoes, and taking a set of Su Zhiruan's clothing from the air-dried rack.

He didn't dress himself while fetching her clothes, casually walking in front of her, while Su Zhiruan felt a bit embarrassed and averted her gaze.

"Shall I help you dress?" Xie Yanshang looked at the clothes in his hand, then at the frozen Su Zhiruan, his eyes lighting up as he quickly approached.

"No need, no need, no need, I can do it myself," Su Zhiruan wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, showing only her head, her neck and arms bearing marks, looking very much like a rice dumpling wrapped in a triangular shape.

"Speaking of which, it's been a while since you had a check-up, Ruanruan," Xie Yanshang handed the clothes over, watching her fumbling to get dressed, as he took keen interest,

"I'm practically your personal doctor now. Stretch out your hand; let me see how you're doing."
