The hotel we are staying at is a rather expensive one. The tournament has many sponsors from different guilds and businesses, so it does not lack money to treat participants lavishly.

Professor Mia and Professor Glinda started talking to each other. They seemed to know each other well seeing how they didn't seem to be wary of each other.

"Students, she is a professor at Britelts Academy. I will need to discuss some things with her. You may go and receive your room key from the receptionist and rest in your room."

The students listened to Professor Mia and went to the receptionist to obtain their room keys.

Due to her position as Vice-Leader, she could also deploy members of the Dark Guild to kill Hiro and others. In the novel, she is one of the mini-bosses.

Right now, she appears to be working as a Professor at Arcane Academy. She should be there to recruit students in Dark guild though there might be another reason for her to stay as Professor.

"Thank You, Professor Frey! It seems like you are also going to ascend soon."

Professor Mia replied.

Although I am not sure whether Professor Mia meant it well or if he said it to provoke Professor Frey, however, it seems that Professor Frey interpreted it negatively.

Her expression changed and she seemed to be gritting her teeth while also clenching her fist.

She probably thinks that Professor Mia is provoking her and showing off that she has ascended before her.

Though I don't think that is the case because while Professor Frey seemed to have a grudge against Professor Mia, Professor Mia does not have grudges against Professor Frey.

She just finds her annoying because Professor Frey always seems to go against her and she also knows that Professor Frey hates her. Therefore, while Professor Mia does not see Professor Frey due to her behavior, she does not see her as her enemy.

If those things were known by Professor Frey, she would be angrier. Because it will look like Professor Mia does not even acknowledge her as an enemy despite her trying her best to beat Professor Mia.

"Professor Mia looks like you have brought your little lover to the tournament."

Professor Frey said that while glaring at me.

I don't know whether to be happy or sorry that she remembers me. Happy that such a powerful character remembered me or sad because she hates me and will probably do something to harm.

With her misunderstanding of me being Professor Mia's lover, I don't think that she will leave me alone with how petty she is. She even tries to kill Hiro because he was once Professor Mia's student.

"I didn't bring him, he earned the place himself. He is going to be one of the participants in the tournament."

Professor Frey had a surprised look on her face.

Even though in reality she already knew that because she had already gathered information about who all were going to be the participants from Ace Academy. That's why she told Omar Noel to beat Zero if he got the chance.
