"Fast sweep?" Cecil asked confused

"Clearing the infected, if this supermarket has any, they're gonna kill them all" Ellie explained, as soon as she did Jake and Jim sneeked into the supermarket and within twenty minutes they came back out, not thinking much of it Cecil and Ellie walked in but what they saw as they walked in got them frightened, there were dead bodies everywhere, about hundreds of them, how did they manage to kill them all Ellie and Cecil thought, Jim already knowing what was on their thought answered them

"He did it" Jim replied, like them he was also surprised to see Jake do this, the way he enjoyed killing them was inhumane, this made him wonder if this was the same Jake who attended all his gym lessons

"C'mon no more dilly dallying around, we came here for supplies, get em so we can be on the move" Jake ordered

"Cecil, I and Jim came across a key room, not just any key room, a room for car keys....., if that's here then there must be a car park somewhere, get a key and search for the car park, we're gonna need that wheels ready by the time we get the supplies we need, Jim will be joining you, so you don't need to freight going alone" Jake continued

"I'll have you know I've survived three days if this apocalypse by myself thank you very much" Cecil whined

"Doesn't matter, he'll accompany you anyways, while you do that I and Ellie will gather everything we'll need for our journey" Jake said disbanding the crew as they all went to perform the task at hand.

"Your leadership trait is really amazing, I mean who else would've gathered this crew and still act all tough like it ain't hard at all "Ellie said, she hoped to get some chat out of Jake but he said nothing

"Ya know, few days ago who would've thought we'd be here trying to survive the end of the world?" She asked again but her words only irritated Jake who had no intention of saying anything

"Can you please be quiet, I'm trying to think here" Jake

Muttered taking a quick glance at Ellie who's smile could make one forget that the world was at end

"Hmmm?...., what was that?" Ellie asked

"Nothing" Jake replied, of course he hadn't planned on saying that to her, her smile was still the only thing holding him together and reminding that there was still hope humanity was going to survive and even if it meant getting irritated by her voice, he still wanted to hear her speak. But while Ellie continued gathering resources Jake stood frozen, what was this he was feeling, his body went cold as he senced something dangerous approaching the supermarket

"Somethings not right" Jake blurted out as Ellie stopped walking for a moment then stared at him

"What's wrong?" Ellie asked, she had never seen Jake this scared before, not even getting detention in school or being ganged up on before made him freeze like this what the hell was going on? She thought, Jake knew this feeling, it was familiar yet strange at the same time. He had felt this from all the infected he had encounted up till this point but none of them had ever felt so blood thirsty before

"What going on?" Ellie asked her gaze fixed on Jake as her diverted all his attention towards the supermarts door as it slid open.

"Tsk...., what the hell is that thing?" Jake thought his fingers gently placed on his dagger ready to strike, the creature looked terrifying, even without doing anything Ellie couldn't move, her frieght getting the better of her, she felt the same way she did three days ago when she couldn't do anything to help ms Lisa before she died

"You...., what are you.." the creature asked it's fingers pointed at Jake, the creature looked like an infected obviously it was but it was bigger and had its body covered in human tissue

"You smell like a human...., and also an infected....., tell me which you are, if you happen to be human then you die, I really dispose them" the creature said again, Ellie couldn't quite wrap her head around the very situation she was in, why could the infected talk, wasn't it dead and why was it covered in human tissues, how was it this huge?, while she stood lost in thoughts Jake called out to her bringing her back to reality

"Go meet Jim and Cecil now" Jake ordered

"No, I'm not leaving you in here with that.....that thing" Ellie refused but this wasn't the right time for arguments Jake himself knew this as he grabbed Ellie by the collar of her shirt

"Go meet Cecil and him now, get a car and get far away from here!!" Jake yelled, Ellie was surprised why was Jake panicking

Was this infected the cause of him panicking some few minutes earlier she thought running towards the direction Cecil and him had headed to

"How can a monster like this even exist?" Jake huffed staring at the window floating above the creatures head

"Currently I'm at stratum 20, going up against something like that would be suicide, ".....tsk.....,what do I do?" Jake thought as the infected took a step closer,

"Asking the human to escape, at least proves you're human...*licks lips*, I'm going to enjoy ripping you to shreds" it said rushing towards Jake who used his increased reflexes to avoid getting hit by the monster in front of him

"Running won't do you any good against me!!" It yelled for some reason it had gotten angry as it charged towards Jake again, this time Jake rushed towards the elite corpse, he had a plan all he could do now was hope it works as he wants it to or he and his team would be dead.
