Pokemon - A real story

Axel came onto the battle stage and it was pandemonium. Everywhere he could see water and ice-type Pokemons. The grass-type Pokemons were very low in number. The number of Pokemons that were attacking them right now was almost a hundred thousand in numbers.

That was a lot. Even the whole battle area was almost covered by Pokemons fighting. This was going to be a huge problem. It was not the tier 3 and tier 2 king rank Pokemon that were the threat but the staggering number of pseudo-king rank and elemental rank Pokemons.

Axel had to do something about it. They were holding up till now. Glalie, Miltoic, and Walrein had still not attacked and they were just observing the battle. Meanwhile, Ludicolo and Victreebel were being dealt with by Hector and Sam with their Pokemons.

Axel immediately sent a message to Hector and Sam.

"Complete the battle as fast as possible. Use multiple Pokemon if you have to. I will deal with other king-rank Pokemons. All of the commanders, deal with those pseudo-king rank Pokemons.

The sun team, get them to use 'Sunny day' and fire type move. The hail is helping the opposing Pokemons."

The place was hailing a lot. Huge chunk of ice was hovering all around the place. This had decreased the temperature of the surrounding to very low level and had helped the ice type Pokemon. The power of ice type Pokemons had increased as their ice type moves had improved a lot.

Axel then called out all of his Pokemons to fight. He even called the young ones and told Gogoat to watch over them. He needed very fighting power. He also called out Pokemons like Shedinja to fight and didn't reserve it for the night raid.

This was going to be a very long battle and they had to win it.

"Charles, you will deal with Walrein. Light, you will deal with Glalie and Magnus, you will deal with Miltoic.

All of you will focus on other pseudo-king rank Pokemons. Venusaur, you will be in close proximity to Charles and heal it when the time comes.

All of you will separate in the team of 2 and deal as much damage as you can.", said Axel.

Even though almost all of them were in king rank stage, he didn't want them to attack alone. If a team of 50 pseudo-king-rank Pokemons was to gang up on any one of them, then it would be difficult for even the king-rank Pokemons to survive.

"ROOOARR"

All of them roared and got ready to battle.

Charizard had not used its full power in all the battles till now. The battle against Scyther was very short and it was not able to enjoy the battle. Now, it could finally battle against a worthy opponent.

It spread its wings and gave a loud roar and then rushed towards Walrein. As it came close to Walrein, it used the move 'Flamethrower' towards Walrein.

But Walrein didn't even register the attack as a threat. It sent out a chilling 'water pulse' towards the 'Flamethrower'. Both of those moves collided and no one came out at the top.

Walrein was not only an ice-type Pokemon but it was also a water-type Pokemon, and Charizard was weak towards water-type attacks but still Axel chose it instead of Magnus or Shedinja.

One might think that Axel had not made the right choice but he had to do it cause he wanted to finish Walrein as fast as possible.

Axel had come to realize that the reason why the surrounding was so cold and the reason why was due to Walrein. Even though it was hailing as a lot of ice type Pokemons were present and they were using the move, but the place was extremely cold. If Axel had not used his aura to protect himself, then he might have even been frozen. The young Pokemons were also not doing very well and it was very difficult for them to even more normally.

This was all due to Walrein and its passive move. Axel looked at its status page.

This was an overpowered Pokemon. Axel could see that this Walrein was quite old but it was still brimming with life and vitality. It was a very experienced Pokemon.

It was a defensive Pokemon, through and through, and a perfect Pokemon for tide battles. Moves like 'Aqua ring', 'Substitute', 'Swallow', and 'Stockpile' could all be used for defense. In addition to it, its ability 'Ice body' let it heal passively at a very slow rate.

But the most powerful were its new moves. The active move 'Frozen armor' was self-explanatory and 'Ice world' was its pre-domain move. But its passive move was what made it stand out.

Ice manipulation: Can manipulate ice to different sizes and structures and also improve the power and efficiency of ice-type moves.

Icy emotion: This will let the user's power of ice change depending on its mood.

Those were simple explanations but Axel could tell that 'Icy emotion' was a powerful move. If the Pokemon could project and control its emotions then this could become very powerful and Walrein could do just that.

The reason why the hail was powerful with improved effects was due to this very reason. That was why Axel chose Charizard. It was all due to Charizard's attack power.

Charizard might not have had stellar defense like Nidoking or Walrein but it had very high attack power and also speed. Axel had to kill this Walrein as soon as possible cause if he didn't not, none of them in this team or of the base might return here alive. The passive effect of Walrein was just that powerful.

Charizard used 'Ash manipulation' to create an armor around it. This move had a good defense against water-type attacks. Even though Charizard had only trained with Ninetales for a month and had not completed its training, its basics on fire-type moves had increased a lot. So, the efficiency of its move and the way it battled had improved a lot.

Charizard gave a big roar and then used the move 'Sunny day'. 2 balls of concentrated blue-colored fire came from its mouth and both of them flew in the air expanding and then both of them combined to form the even bigger, brighter mini sun.

Suddenly, everywhere around Charizard, there were mini explosions in the air. This was solely caused due to the clash of temperature between 'Sunny day' and 'Hail'. The temperature around Charizard and Walrein changed instantly. The mastery over 'Sunny day' was clearly higher than 'Hail' and now it started to become hotter and hotter.

Charizard was satisfied with the progress and then went ahead to attack. It first used the move 'Dragon claw' as both of the claws from both of its hands vibrated with energy and the dragon claw came out. The aura around Charizard was menacing as it struck Walrein with that move.

But Walrein was clearly a defensive type Pokemon. It immediately used the move 'Frozen armor' and covered all of its body with ice. It was sent back by the force of the attack but it was not hurt.

Charizard then immediately used the move 'Dragon dance' to increase the power of its attack. It could tell that this was going to be a long battle and it needed to finish this battle fast.

As they were getting ready for another clash, Glalie powered up a powerful 'Ice beam' towards Charizard which Charizard responded with a 'Flamethrower'. Both of those moves clashed and Walrein took its sweet time to use the move 'Rain dance' and then it started to rain very heavily.

When Glalie was getting ready for another attack, it found itself in a different environment and then it was hit by a powerful spear made of concentrated fire.

BANG!!!

The power of this attack was very high. It was not ready for it. It had a habit of using ice as armor every time and this was the only reason why it was seriously injured. It looked around and found out that Alakazam was just next to it and it was in a different place.

Alakazam had used the move 'Teleport' to Glalie. If Glalie and Walrein were fighting together, then they might have a very low chance of winning this battle.

"It looks like your friend will not be able to help you now.", said Charizard with a smile.

"I have not come here to fight with you. I just need the relic of Articuno. A human-trained dog like you will not understand the importance of it. So, I will give you a last chance, just give up that relic and I will be on my way.", said Walrein as if it were an old man educating a child.

Charizard didn't know what that relic was but it didn't like the tone in which Walrein was speaking. Its pride was hurt and now it had to teach this old Pokemon a lesson.

It didn't bother to speak with it any longer and gave a big roar and directly used the move 'Blaze' to power its fire-type moves. Axel had already told it to finish the battle as much as it could.

It also used 'Dragon dance' to the maximum. So, its attack stat and its speed stats was at a very high level right now. It directly used the move 'Dragon rush'.

'Dragon rush' was an overpowered move and Charizard rarely used it. This was cause the move consumed a lot of its stamina. But right now, it had to finish the battle as fast as it could. So, it didn't hesitate to use the move.

BANG!!!

Walrein was in the process of using the second 'Stockpile' when it was hit by this move.

The power of this move created an airwave that killed multiple pseudo-king rank Pokemons around them. The ice armor covering Walrein's body had fully cracked and now there were some injuries on its body.

Charizard didn't stop even for a second and used the move 'Tail blade' combing it with 'Iron tail'. The move was swift but Walrein from all of its experience was able to block the move from its ivory tusks.

CRACKKK...

Walrein had even expected in its whole life that its tusks would crack from the clash with Charizard's attack. Walrein knew how powerful it really was even though Charizard was a tier 3 king-rank Pokemon, it was not so worried about it. It had never fought a battle that it had lost, so it was very confident but now, for the first time, it took this battle seriously.

ROOOARRR

It gave a huge roar and then directly used the move 'Surf'. It seemed to have collected all the raindrops from the air and then it created a big wave of water that came rushing down Charizard.

Charizard at that time flew high in the sky to dodge the attack but suddenly, at the edge of the wave of water, ice began to form and then uncountable ice spears came hurling towards Charizard.

Charizard immediately used the move 'Flame armor' to protect itself and then used 'Wing attack' and 'Slash' to slice all those ice spears but some of them did hit Charizard. Actually, a lot of them hit Charizard cause the quantity of the ice spears coming towards Charizard was in the hundreds.

This was the power of 'ice manipulation' and Axel could already feel that the sunny day was now turning towards dark icy cold weather. This was the effect of 'Icy emotion'.

But what Walrein had failed to realize was that during the activation of 'Blaze', the power of Charizard would increase when its health decreased and Charizard had another trump card to use.

'Solar power'.
