Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Daniel’s Intense Battle!

Arcanine vs. Tyranitar - Clash of Titans

The crowd roared as Daniel and Marcus faced off. The tension in the air was thick—both trainers had come this far, and neither intended to lose.

The referee raised his flag. "This is a 3v3 battle! Trainers, send out your first Pokémon!"

Marcus smirked. "Let's go, Tyranitar!"

A massive thud echoed through the arena as Tyranitar appeared, roaring with power. The ground beneath it cracked slightly from its sheer weight.

Daniel grinned, unfazed. "Arcanine, let's heat things up!"

With a burst of flame, Daniel's Hisuian Arcanine landed on the battlefield. Unlike a regular Arcanine, this one had black stone armor mixed into its fiery mane, giving it an untamed and wild look.

Marcus chuckled. "Heh. Nice Arcanine, but it won't last. Tyranitar, use Earthquake!"

Tyranitar stomped the ground with full force, causing the battlefield to rupture. The shockwave rushed toward Arcanine, aiming to deal massive super-effective damage.

Daniel's eyes gleamed. "Dodge with Flame Dash!"

Arcanine leaped into the air, engulfed in flames, dodging the attack just in time. It moved so fast that its form became a fiery blur.

"Now, Flare Blitz!"

Arcanine rocketed downward, its entire body cloaked in an inferno.

BOOM!

The attack slammed into Tyranitar's chest, sending it skidding backward. Smoke filled the arena as the force of the impact left a crater.

Marcus clenched his fists. "Not bad. But we're just getting started. Tyranitar, use Stone Edge!"

Jagged stones burst from the ground, aiming to impale Arcanine mid-air.

Daniel smirked. "Too slow. Wild Charge!"

Just before the attack hit, Arcanine crackled with electricity, boosting its speed even further. It zigzagged through the air, dodging each stone with perfect precision.

Marcus's eyes widened. "What?!"

"Now, Thunder Fang!"

Arcanine lunged forward, its fangs coated in electricity, and bit down on Tyranitar's armored skin. The shockwave rippled through Tyranitar's body, forcing it to roar in pain.

Sparks danced across its scales.

Marcus gritted his teeth. "Tyranitar, shake it off! Use Crunch!"

Tyranitar snapped its jaws forward, aiming for Arcanine's neck.

Daniel's eyes narrowed. "Let's finish this. Infernal Overdrive!"

Arcanine's entire body erupted in flames, its mane turning into a blazing storm of black fire.

It let out a powerful howl before unleashing a devastating explosion of fire, engulfing Tyranitar completely.

The arena shook violently from the sheer force of the attack.

When the flames cleared, Tyranitar lay motionless on the battlefield.

The referee raised his hand. "Tyranitar is unable to battle! Arcanine wins!"

The crowd exploded with cheers as Arcanine stood tall, panting but victorious.

Daniel smirked. "One down."

Marcus growled. "Don't get cocky. Go, Gengar!"

A dark mist spread across the battlefield as Gengar materialized, its wide grin sending shivers down spines.

Daniel's smirk faded. "Alright… time for a real fight."

Battle 2: Gengar vs. Scizor

Daniel called back Arcanine. "You did great, buddy. Take a rest."

He grabbed his next Pokéball. "Let's go, Scizor!"

A flash of light revealed Daniel's Scizor, its red metallic body gleaming.

Marcus smirked. "Bad choice. Gengar, use Shadow Ball!"

Gengar formed a sphere of dark energy and launched it forward.

Daniel countered instantly. "Scizor, Agility!"

Scizor blurred out of sight, dodging the attack effortlessly.

Marcus's eyes widened. "That speed—"

Daniel grinned. "Now, X-Scissor!"

Scizor's claws glowed green, and it slashed at Gengar with lightning-fast precision.

Gengar let out a pained cry as the super-effective Bug-type move landed cleanly.

Marcus clenched his fists. "You think I'd go down that easily? Destiny Bond!"

Gengar's eyes flashed purple, and an eerie chain of energy wrapped around Scizor.

Daniel's eyes widened. "Damn… If I knock it out now, Scizor goes down too…"

The crowd watched in suspense.

Daniel exhaled. "Fine. I'll switch it up. Scizor, Return!"

He grabbed another Pokéball. "Go, Blastoise!"

The battlefield shook as Blastoise landed, its cannons primed and ready.

Marcus grinned. "Still won't save you! Gengar, Hypnosis!"

Gengar's eyes glowed, sending waves of sleep-inducing energy.

Daniel smirked. "Blastoise, Aqua Jet into Ice Beam!"

Blastoise blasted forward, dodging the attack, and fired an Ice Beam mid-dash.

Gengar froze solid on impact.

The referee raised his hand. "Gengar is unable to battle! Blastoise wins!"

Marcus growled. "Damn it… My last shot! Go, Salamence!"

A powerful dragon roar shook the stadium as Salamence took flight, glaring down at Blastoise.

Daniel's eyes narrowed. "This is it."

Final Battle: Salamence vs. Blastoise

Marcus wasted no time. "Salamence, Dragon Dance!"

Salamence's body glowed red, increasing its attack and speed.

Daniel clenched his fists. "Blastoise, Mega Evolve!"

Blastoise's body shined brightly, and with a powerful surge of energy, it transformed into Mega Blastoise!

The crowd erupted in cheers as the battle reached its peak.

Marcus pointed. "Salamence, Dragon Claw!"

Salamence dived down, its claws crackling with dragon energy.

Daniel countered. "Blastoise, Hydro Cannon!"

Blastoise's triple cannons glowed intensely before firing a massive water blast.

The two attacks collided mid-air, creating a huge shockwave.

Both Pokémon struggled against each other's power, neither willing to back down.

Daniel saw his opening. "End this! Ice Beam!"

Blastoise's cannons aimed directly at Salamence and fired a freezing blast of energy.

Salamence roared in pain as ice spread across its wings, sending it crashing to the ground.

BOOM!

The battlefield shook violently.

The referee raised his hand. "Salamence is unable to battle! The winner is Daniel Oak!"

The crowd exploded in cheers.

Daniel grinned. "And that's game."

Marcus fell to his knees, stunned. "…I lost…"

Daniel walked over, offering a hand. "Good match."

Marcus looked up, then smirked, shaking his hand. "Yeah… You're the real deal."

As Daniel walked off the battlefield, he clenched his fists.

"Next round… I'm coming for you, Alex."
