"Hmm? Old lady, is there something you need?" Ash turned around and saw the old lady played by Gastly. The old lady was carefully examining Ash's appearance with a magnifying glass and even sniffed his scent.

"Impossible, it really is you?"

"I mean, old lady, what exactly do you want…" Seeing Gastly continuously observing him, Ash felt a bit speechless. Could it be that Gastly liked to look at handsome guys? After Ash's reminder, the old lady finally reacted and said, "Young man, it's not that I have something to do, but you are about to have something happen! I can see bad things, and you are being targeted now. Remember my words: be careful of beautiful women!"

Hearing this, Ash immediately picked up Yellow and slightly distanced himself from Elesa and Misty.

"My wife and Misty are going to do something bad to me?! So, the adorable Yellow is the most reassuring, right?!"

Although Ash found it strange why Gastly had approached him, he didn't think too much about it since Gastly was a good guy. Later, Ash and his group finally ran into Brock, though Brock seemed a bit distracted. Although they found it strange, they didn't see anything wrong with him, so they continued to stroll together. Then, the highlight came—Ash and his group arrived at a fortune teller who told stories, ready to listen to the legend of Shion Town.

"Open for business! The legend passed down for two thousand years at the Shion Shrine! Please enjoy!" As the fortune teller unfolded a painting, a portrait of a young girl was revealed to everyone. Upon seeing this portrait, Ash's head ached for a moment, but it quickly passed.

However, Brock, who had been distracted earlier, and James from Team Rocket, were completely entranced. If the fortune teller hadn't held their faces, Ash suspected they might have licked the painting.

While holding their faces, the fortune teller said, "This young lady is the one from the Shion Rock, a person from a thousand years ago."

"A thousand years ago?" *N

"That's right. It was a long time ago, before Poké Balls existed. The young lady had a man she deeply loved, but he left for something more precious. She waited for him, hoping he would return, but he never did..." The fortune teller paused here, and Ash raised his hand to ask, "So, what was this more precious thing?"

"It was the world..."

"The world? To conquer the world?" Ash found this strange, and his question resonated with everyone. However, the fortune teller shook his head and said, "No, the man deeply loved this world, so he sacrificed himself to bring peace to it."

Hearing this, Ash became even more interested. This seemed different from what he remembered. Could it be that his memories were confused?

Just as Ash was thinking this, the fortune teller said, "That man was actually quite famous. He was the Aura Guardian, Sir Aaron, and together with his Lucario, he stopped a war. But the cost was his own life. Just before he vanished, 'God' asked him why he made this choice, and the man simply smiled and replied, 'Because I truly love this world. So, what does it matter if I give my life for that love?'"

"Oh, the Aura Guardian, Sir Aaron? But wasn't that a fake name?" Elesa seemed to know a bit about this and shared what she knew. The fortune teller nodded and said, "That's right. No one knows Sir Aaron's real name. There are also legends that say Sir Aaron was brought here by God, and in the end, God took him back. Who knows? With that, the fortune teller took out a portrait of a man. However, upon seeing the portrait, Elesa and the others, as well as Team Rocket, were stunned.

"Ash/Ash-brother/Brat?!" *N

That's right! Sir Aaron's appearance was exactly like Ash's current look, except for a different hat. However, rather than his current appearance, it was more like the state Ash was in when he wore a suit, because the unique sense of maturity emanating from the portrait was something Ash only had after changing his outfit.

As Ash looked at the portrait, he couldn't help but say, "He does look quite handsome, but what a fool for not cherishing his own life."

Hearing this, the fortune teller wasn't angry and instead said meaningfully, "Perhaps you're right. He might indeed have been a fool."

In the end, they still didn't figure out what was going on, but the fortune teller did suggest that Ash and the others could visit the Shion Rock.

However, when they went there, Ash was fine, but Brock and James seemed to be under a spell, obsessed with getting closer to the Shion Rock.

This left Ash, Elesa, and the others feeling quite helpless.
