Chapter 1084 - Reappearance
Seeing this scene, Aoki's heart was slightly moved.
Perhaps Shelgon could truly help Kommo-o recover from hidden injuries in its heart.
Moreover, Shelgon could also provide comfort to Kommo-o.
Key point was that Shelgon could learn a great deal from Kommo-o!
This was top priority.
Why was Tyranitar so strong now?
Main reason was, of course, immense resources Aoki had invested in it, nurturing and training it from Larvitar all the way through to its evolution.
That was foundation.
But it must be said that in that rocky space, the Tyranitar of Tyranitar tribe, especially Tyranitar leader, had taught it many unique experiences and battle methods specific to Tyranitar.
Therefore, if Shelgon could learn some skills from Kommo-o, intangible gains would be enormous.
After all, it seemed there was still room for maneuver.
Aoki looked at Shelgon and Kommo-o and scanned Shelgon's data.
Pokemon: Shelgon (blue)
Gender: Male
Level: 32

TM Moves: None
Bagon had successfully evolved into Shelgon, and with help of Aoki's qualification potion and freshest, most powerful reverese scale from Kommo-o, evolved Shelgon's potential was directly raised to blue.
This was somewhat unexpected for Aoki.
However, it was, after all, the reverse scale of such a powerful Kommo-o, so it was reasonable that it could produce such an effect.
Just ask, in Pokemon world, who else could obtain such a scale?
If it were to be auctioned, its value would likely be ten times that of the Dragon Scale Shelgon was holding.
And that might still not be enough.
And because of existence of this scale, Shelgon had learned move Outrage.
When it came to Dragon-type Pokemon, Drake was best at controlling move called Outrage.
Aoki had obtained training method from him but had not yet begun training. Now that Shelgon had learned Outrage, it could give it a try.
After a brief exchange with Shelgon, Kommo-o realized it had not yet introduced itself to Aoki.
Then, it stepped in front of Aoki on its four strong, pillar-like legs.
It rubbed gently against his leg.
Aoki smiled and said, "Okay, okay, I know you've evolved, but you still have to keep working hard in future."
Hearing this, Shelgon narrowed its eyes and nodded happily.
Perhaps because of effect of Kommo-o's reverse scale, side effects of qualification potion did not manifest on Shelgon.
But looking at current environment, it obviously didn't seem like training could continue.
Whether it was Combee or Vespiquen, after seeing existence of Kommo-o, they probably would not foolishly charge forward anymore.
Just look at three Skuntank.
Before, they were standing in front of Aoki's sofa with an air of authority, acting like they were bosses with Aoki as second-in-command.
But after appearance of Kommo-o, they could only tremble on side and did not even think of getting close.
Aoki might not know, but they did.
There was a legend in this forest about this Kommo-o.
Legend had it that if you heard sound of "swishing," you should run quickly and not look back.
Now they had seen this legendary being, feared by all Pokemon in forest.
How could they not be afraid?
Seeing how harmoniously Shelgon and Aoki were getting along, Kommo-o admitted it had been a little reckless at beginning.
However, it soon remembered that Aoki had called out name of a Pokemon like it before.
Kommo-o!
It had only heard this name when it was a child, when it was still a Jangmo-o, and had heard its parents talking to each other.
It came to Aoki.
"Unknown creature, do you know a Pokemon like me?" said Kommo-o.
This was result of Slowking's translation.
Several black lines appeared on Aoki's forehead.
Unknown creature?
Unknown creatures all day long...
"First of all, my name is Aoki, and I am Trainer of these Pokemon. I hope you won't call me that casually in future. Secondly, what about knowing you are a Kommo-o?" Aoki's expression was somewhat serious.
It seemed his guess might be correct.
This Kommo-o might be last one left in this space. It had not seen many of its own kind and was not even sure of its own species.
When it heard that Aoki knew about existence of Pokemon like it, it didn't care that Aoki's tone was unfriendly at first.
"That unknown... Ao... ki, how did you know this? Have you seen other Kommo-o?" Kommo-o asked hurriedly.
Aoki simply shook his head.
"No."
Upon hearing this, Kommo-o showed a disappointed expression.
"But I know where they might be, and I know about you because your species was actually discovered a long time ago," Aoki said confidently.
They had indeed been discovered a long time ago.
But how many people knew about them was debatable.
Another turning point.
But Kommo-o no longer cared.
"Where are they?"
Aoki showed an embarrassed expression.
"They are not here. You may not know that place you live in now is just a small space. There is a bigger world outside. Your species is in a huge world called Pokemon World, which is world created by the legendary Pokemon, Arceus." He spoke slowly.
Kommo-o, having become aware of existence of its own kind, transformed into a student listening to a lecture.
As Aoki spoke, it nodded from time to time with a thoughtful expression.
Even when it encountered some things it didn't understand, it still had to ask questions.
But Aoki rejected all of them, saying these were common sense questions and that he would let Shelgon explain them later.
Other Pokemon turned their attention to Aoki and listened to his explanation quietly.
Only Slowking slapped itself on forehead.
It hadn't seen Aoki use this skill for so long that it thought he had forgotten it.
But now it seemed...
Kommo-o, which had just made them afraid, was now standing in front of Aoki and obeying him obediently.
It looked like a good student.
Another Pokemon was about to be fooled by Aoki.
Slowking suddenly felt very grateful for its own wisdom.
A sense of superiority arose spontaneously, as if it were only one sober while everyone else was drunk.
However, Aoki, who was explaining things to Kommo-o at this time, glanced at Slowking and showed a meaningful smile.
Slowking suddenly shuddered and immediately joined ranks of Kommo-o.
It nodded when it should nod, made an expression of sudden enlightenment when it should, and contemplated when it should contemplate.
Seeing Slowking's cooperation, Aoki nodded with satisfaction, and then looked at other Pokemon, all of whom had same expression.
Not bad, not bad.
That was about right.
