Pokemon: Rising From The Dark

Passing through the outer forest, the group entered the vast grassland area. Although there were quite a few wild Pokémon here, most of them attacked head-on because there were no obstructions, and there were very few sneak attacks. On this open grassland, one could see many powerful Pokémon. For example, groups of Tauros. Their tribe was a dominant force on the grassland, and few Pokémon went out of their way to cause trouble for them. It simply was not worth it; it was better not to provoke a group of bison that might go crazy at any time. Then there were the groups of Rhyhorn and Rhydon. Their presence was more troublesome and terrifying than the Tauros, primarily because the defensive capabilities of these Pokémon were exceptionally strong. Without the ability to deal with them effectively, it was best not to provoke any trouble from them.

Aside from these two groups of Pokémon, another kind had attracted Aoki's attention: Kangaskhan. Aoki was familiar with this Normal-type Pokémon, and Kangaskhan was also a Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. The most famous aspect of Kangaskhan was the relationship between the mother and her offspring. It was said that a baby Kangaskhan would live in its mother's pouch for three years before leaving. To protect her child, the mother Kangaskhan was willing to sacrifice her life. When a Kangaskhan Mega Evolves, as long as there is a little Kangaskhan in her pouch, both Pokémon are affected. It was the only known situation in the Pokémon world where one Mega Evolution could affect two Pokémon.

The arrival of Aoki and his companions caused ripples on the originally peaceful grassland, like dropping a pebble into a calm lake. Soon, this disturbance would affect the entire area. When they first entered the grassland, nothing of note happened. Things only changed after they encountered a herd of Tauros. Tyranitar and the others had set their sights on several of the stronger Tauros within the herd. When Aoki saw that his Pokémon showed interest in the powerful Tauros, he realized just how obsessed they were with fighting. This was especially true for Tyranitar. In the previous forest, to maintain their pace, they had not deliberately sought out large groups of wild Pokémon. The wild Pokémon that attacked them were all quasi-King-level beings, and they could not withstand more than a few attacks from Aggron and Blaziken. Tyranitar hadn't participated in many battles. For a month, apart from the time spent fighting against the Vigoroth, which had been particularly exciting, the rest of the time was just training, training, and more training. The thrill of battle had almost faded. Now that they had entered the grassland, actually feeling some danger from a herd of Tauros, how could they resist? They had to fight.

If Tyranitar felt this way, then so did Aggron and Blaziken. Their obsession with reaching King level was simply insane. Aoki was not worried at all that they would be unable to break through to King level; rather, he was afraid that they would become too obsessed and harm their bodies in the process. "Florges—" As soon as Madame Florges emerged, she felt the fresh air of the grassland and immediately smiled sweetly with joy. As her smile appeared, flowers of various colors suddenly bloomed on the ground around where she stood. Madame Florges, with her white petals, seemed to transform into a flower fairy, completely blending into the vibrant display. The range of the flowers continued to expand little by little, slowly attracting the attention of the other Pokémon on the grassland. Aoki knew that when Madame Florges saw the grassland, she thought of the place where she had once lived and subconsciously felt the flowers in the grassland. As a Pokémon who could control flowers, it was not difficult for Madame Florges to create a bush of blossoms. Aoki didn't say anything; as long as Madame Florges was happy, that was all that mattered. She had been summoned as a precaution, to prevent Tyranitar and the others from fighting too recklessly and losing control against the enraged Tauros, potentially injuring themselves.

But it was obvious that Aoki had still underestimated their rationality. Although they were a group of brawlers who liked to rush forward in battle and absolutely preferred to defeat their opponent in one blow rather than two, that did not mean they lacked their own ideas. What kind of reckless fighter is the most terrifying? The most frightening is the wise and strategic reckless fighter!

"Tyran!" Tyranitar said something to Aggron and Blaziken, and the three Pokémon quickly formulated a strategy. Aoki watched from a distance and did not immediately intervene in their fight. He needed to see whether their independent combat capabilities had improved during this period—whether the teachings of the Shelgon, the fighting techniques, and the energy usage learned from the Vigoroth had been absorbed. The three Pokémon finished their discussion quickly.

Facing the breeze sweeping across the grassland, the "fur" on Blaziken's body suddenly became covered with flames as it rushed directly toward the Tauros herd. The fiery red figure quickly attracted the attention of all the Tauros. Blaziken ran faster and faster. The Tauros grew restless. Streams of white gas spurted from their nostrils, and their hind legs scraped the ground from time to time, as if preparing to charge. Blaziken appeared in front of them in the blink of an eye. There wasn't even a chance to react. Bang! It stepped on the head of the Tauros closest to it, stomping it into the ground. Boom— As the Tauros fell, the ground shook slightly. Then, using the rebound force, Blaziken performed a backflip to create distance. Then... the entire Tauros herd rioted. Without a care for their fallen companion, they chased after Blaziken like mad, their hooves pounding. Blaziken seemed to be taunting them, standing there and hooking a finger, waiting for a moment before running back again.

"Tyran!!!" "Aggron!!!" At this moment, Tyranitar and Aggron, who had been ready for a long time, shouted excitedly. Aoki stared at the scene in a daze. I take back what I said... This must be a tactic Tyranitar came up with: Blaziken attracts the aggression, and then... they are going to face off against the entire herd of Tauros head-on. Tyranitar twisted its body and used Dragon Dance. It had learned some techniques for this move from the Kommo-o, making its execution faster and more powerful. Aggron also roared, and huge rocks suddenly emerged from the grassland. Then the rocks simply vanished. This was not like throwing a stone into a lake; this was like throwing an atomic bomb into the lake!
