Pokemon: Rising From The Dark

Chapter 1094 - Sharing the Difficulties

The originally peaceful and tranquil grassland, due to the intervention of the three Pokémon including Tyranitar, suddenly descended into the chaotic situation that was now unfolding.

A massive brawl!

Nearly every Pokémon on the grassland had joined in.

However, it was not a case of the Pokémon collectively besieging Tyranitar and the others; it was a genuine free-for-all. Every Pokémon was attacking each other, regardless of the opponent's strength. As long as they were not from their own tribe, they were considered an enemy.

The battle lasted a full three hours.

Aoki, who was sitting to the side watching, was initially shocked, but by the end, his mouth was agape with sheer astonishment.

Tyranitar and the others had truly lost their temper. Since enemies surrounded them on all sides, they simply grabbed the nearest Pokémon, pinned them to the ground, and pummeled them.

In the end, although they were covered in bruises and even beaten black and blue, only the five of them were left standing alone on the grass.

The wind whistled across the river, lending a chilling air to the scene of the five victors... the analogy fails to capture the moment.

At this time, wild Pokémon were lying everywhere across the grass, all having lost their ability to battle.

"Rooooooar!!!"

Tyranitar felt immensely satisfied, throwing its arms wide open and roaring triumphantly at the sky.

Aggron and Blaziken suddenly closed their eyes and stood there completely motionless.

After waiting silently for thirty seconds, when Blaziken and Aggron opened their eyes again, their auras had changed dramatically.

Champion level!

After this great battle, the two Pokémon had successfully broken free from their shackles and reached the Champion level!

This officially announced that the second-tier Pokémon had become a fighting force Aoki could reliably use in battles against other Trainers.

The Pokémon in the first tier would now feel greater pressure. It was likely that after some time, perhaps the distinction between the first and second tiers would become almost negligible as their strength grew closer and closer.

The Pokémon in the second tier were inherently more talented than those in the first tier, and their starting point was much higher. But one thing needed to be clarified: the resources used by the second-tier Pokémon were actually fought for and earned by the first-tier Pokémon. This was the principle Aoki had instilled in them from the very beginning—only by supporting each other could the entire team develop more smoothly.

Although Swampert failed to reach the Champion level in one go, it had come a step closer. Politoed also sensed the feeling of a Pokémon breaking through, which it believed would be a great help for its own future improvement.

Aoki slowly floated his chair in front of the five Pokémon.

Tyranitar, who had been looking immensely proud and majestic moments before, suddenly didn't dare to make a sound upon seeing the gloomy expression on Aoki's face. It offered a weak, strained smile. Aggron and Blaziken did the same. Only Swampert and Politoed looked on with gleeful schadenfreude.

"Are your wings getting stronger? Huh?! Do you think you've grown big enough that you can just casually provoke a battle on this scale?" Aoki said coldly.

The colder his tone, the greater the deterrent effect it had on Tyranitar and the others.

At this moment, the two behemoths—the three-meter-tall Tyranitar and the equally massive Aggron—didn't even dare to breathe heavily in front of Aoki, a "weak" human sitting in a chair. Blaziken turned its head away, avoiding his gaze. Don't look at me, it wasn't my idea anyway...

Thump—

Before Blaziken could react, Tyranitar's arm landed directly on its shoulder, pulling it forcefully to its side. Good brothers stick together in times of trouble.

Then Aggron followed suit, pulling over Swampert and Politoed, who had been gloating. You guys were fighting with just as much gusto earlier. Don't think you can escape responsibility by playing dumb now.

Seeing their expressions, Aoki suddenly wasn't sure whether he should be angry or not.

Florges stood beside Aoki, covering her mouth with her hands as she chuckled. Her silver-bell-like laughter soon spread across the entire grassland.

Aoki gave her a displeased look. The angry expression he had worked hard to maintain was completely dissolved by Florges's laughter before it could even properly form.

In truth, Florges also knew that Aoki was just pretending. Seeing those little guys fighting so crazily and then not even daring to breathe in front of him, she found it incredibly amusing. Anyway, with Aoki's personality, he wouldn't truly be angry, and Florges had already asked him not to pretend so seriously.

Seeing the change in Aoki's expression, Tyranitar and the others also began to smile. They knew it wasn't a serious problem.

"Don't think this is over. Before dinner tonight, each of you will do one thousand push-ups. Tyranitar and Blaziken, you will do two thousand," Aoki said, still sounding unhappy.

Suddenly, the smiles on the five Pokémon's faces froze. Swampert and Politoed had truly suffered an unexpected disaster. It had nothing to do with them initially, but now they had to share the punishment.

"Swampert, Politoed, you are a team. So if they make a mistake, of course you should stand together. Sharing hardships is what good brothers do," Aoki stated.

As he said this, he saw Tyranitar and Blaziken pointing fingers at each other with expressions that asked why they had to do twice as much.

Aoki rolled his eyes. "Tyranitar, don't tell me you weren't the one who came up with this brawl tactic. Do you think two thousand isn't enough? As for you, Blaziken, a thousand push-ups is nothing to you, right? Two thousand should be a piece of cake for a martial arts master like you!"

Aoki was very familiar with his Pokémon's capabilities. For a martial arts master like Blaziken, a thousand push-ups might just be a warm-up. Blaziken didn't say anything else. Two thousand was nothing; it was really just Tyranitar who was wailing. With its immense weight, after two thousand push-ups, its dinner would probably be cold.

Speaking of which, after Aoki's upper body had fully recovered, he had started to occasionally make some cooked food and special Pokéblocks. After all, no matter how delicious they were, always eating Pokéblocks as a staple would lead to taste fatigue. Sometimes, other foods were needed to adjust their palates.

After announcing the punishment, Aoki controlled his sofa chair and floated deeper into the grassland. Florges, covering her mouth as she chuckled, walked beside him; wherever she stepped, flowers bloomed.

The five big guys, including Tyranitar, followed behind Aoki dejectedly. They didn't pay attention to the injuries on their bodies, only thinking about how to finish the push-ups quickly; otherwise, their dinner would be gone.

Aoki, floating ahead, tossed out several special Super Potions without looking back and said, "Take care of your injuries yourselves!"

If the tiger doesn't show its ferocity, they might think it's sick!

He had to get angry to let them know they couldn't act so recklessly.

Only Florges, walking beside Aoki, could see the faint smile on his lips from the corner of her eye as he sat on the floating sofa.

This was exactly how the little ones had grown to where they were now. Aoki must have been very proud inwardly.

Even Florges, who had been watching from the sidelines, had been greatly surprised by the fighting prowess displayed today. When did those little guys, who used to just chase and play-fight around her, grow to such a size? Even if she were to fight them herself, she wouldn't be able to win easily. If she wasn't careful, she might even lose.
