Chapter 131: Chapter 131: The Wild Officer Jenny, Beneath Her Skirt...
At the ranch gate bathed in morning sunlight, Suzie sat atop the wooden fence, watching the Tauros stampeding across the grassland.
"Suzie! Help me... Kazuki is bullying me again!" Misty shouted exaggeratedly as she ran toward Suzie at the ranch entrance.
Suzie observed the playful atmosphere between the trio. Her lingering hesitation from the night before vanished instantly, leaving her resolved to confess her own feelings to Kazuki at the next opportunity.
Misty rushed forward, clinging to Suzie's waist and hiding behind her, causing Suzie's soft chest to bounce gently from the motion.
"Were you being mischievous again?" Suzie asked Misty gently, smiling softly.
"You see that, Misty? Even Suzie knows how naughty you've been!" Kazuki approached Suzie's side, no longer teasing Misty.
"Huh? Suzie, since when don't you take my side?" Misty tilted her head playfully, giving Suzie a teasing look.
"Of course I take your side. We're sisters, aren't we?" Suzie responded warmly, casually mentioning their sisterly bond.
"Alright, enough fooling around. We should get going—there's still a long stretch of protected area ahead!" Kazuki affectionately patted Misty's head and brought the conversation back to their journey.
"Lara, I still have at least two badges to win! We need to continue our training journey."
"I hope next time we meet, you'll have become a strong and capable village leader!"
Kazuki raised his hand, gently caressing Lara's cheek.
Misty, tilting her head, chimed in teasingly, "Hey... Kazuki, how come you're never this gentle with me?"
Kazuki shot her a mischievous grin, lightly pinching her cheek, "But I love you just as much, you know?"
"Hey! You caressed Lara, but you pinch me!" Misty pouted jokingly.
With Misty around, the group was always lively and cheerful, free from any gloominess.
Lara laughed softly, her eyes sparkling warmly, "If it's your blessing, Kazuki, I'll definitely strive to become an outstanding leader!"
"Kazuki, you have to work hard too! I'll definitely come cheer for you at the Indigo Plateau Conference!"
"I trust that my man will become the strongest in the world!" Lara gazed affectionately into Kazuki's eyes, her face glowing warmly under the morning sun. After a lingering gaze, she whispered softly, "I love you, Kazuki."
Lara's declaration was rather composed, but Misty and Suzie reacted more intensely.
"Ooh~~ So embarrassing!" Misty exclaimed, covering her blushing face with a squeal.
Though Misty had told Kazuki "I love you" countless times, she'd never dared to say it openly in front of Suzie, always feeling too shy.
Suzie, watching Lara's bold confession, felt her heart race and breath quicken, imagining herself in Lara's place.
Kazuki smiled gently at Lara, pulling her into his embrace, his hand softly stroking her waist.
After exchanging a few more farewell words, the trio boarded the off-road vehicle Lara had arranged, continuing their journey.
Looking down, she noticed a small, delicately written note tucked secretly into her waistband: [Next time, let's try out your little whip—I promise to fill you with love.]
Blushing deeply, Lara pressed the note to her chest, smiling shyly to herself. "Really, Kazuki... Alright, once I've finished village matters, I'll definitely let you fill me up!"
The vehicle Lara arranged could only take Kazuki's group to the edge of the Laramie Village's protected area. From there, they had to continue on foot.
Just as the three stepped out, a gust of wind blew through, kicking up yellow dust from the rural path.
Misty's bright orange hair was blown into a mess, and Suzie stopped thoughtfully to help straighten it out.
"Hey, look!" Misty suddenly pointed to distant rolling hills. "It's a herd of Kangaskhan!"
Following her gaze, Kazuki indeed saw a group of Kangaskhan migrating. Each adult Kangaskhan carried a tiny, pink baby nestled in their pouches, their skin glistening like pearls under the morning light.
Just as Kazuki was about to check his Pokédex, a sharp siren pierced the air, rapidly approaching.
"Trainers ahead, halt!" Officer Jenny rode up swiftly on her motorcycle, looking strikingly heroic as she blocked their path.
This Officer Jenny, unlike the ones they'd met in cities, had healthy, tanned skin glowing with a sun-kissed sheen—though her uniform still accentuated her generous curves beautifully.
"Recently, there have been several Kangaskhan poaching incidents in this protected area. Please cooperate and let me check your Poké Balls."
Jenny initially landed with a stern expression, but upon seeing Kazuki, her demeanor softened instantly.
Just as Suzie was about to explain, rustling came from the bushes nearby.
A lone Kangaskhan baby hopped out, a fallen leaf still sticking adorably to its head.
It tilted its head curiously at Kazuki and the others, then giggled cutely and bounced over to Kazuki's side.
"Is this... an injured wild Pokémon?" Officer Jenny knelt down to inspect it, inadvertently revealing a glimpse of black lace beneath her uniform skirt.
Misty immediately elbowed Kazuki teasingly, "You big pervert, just where are you looking!"
"Oh? This Kangaskhan baby seems really attached to you! And you seem quite fond of it as well!" Seeing the baby's closeness to Kazuki, Jenny decided there was no need to inspect further.
"What's your name?"
"I'm Kazuki, just a passing—"
Before Kazuki could finish his introduction, mechanical whirring noises erupted from the bushes.
Five modified hunter robots emerged from behind the dunes, electricity crackling ominously from their mechanical arms.
"What's going on?" Suzie instinctively asked, inadvertently triggering a familiar line.
Jessie's shrill laughter echoed through the air, "Since you asked us so sincerely..."
Jessie paused awkwardly. "Eh? Oh right! James isn't with me on this operation!"
"Get the Kangaskhan baby out first!" Kazuki swiftly pulled Officer Jenny into his arms, shielding her protectively behind him.
Caught off guard, Jenny stumbled into his embrace, her police cap brushing softly against his chin.
Jenny's Arcanine fired off a Flamethrower instinctively, but the flames bounced harmlessly off the robots' insulated coating.
"Charmeleon, Flamethrower!" Kazuki threw his Poké Ball decisively. Simultaneously, Misty's Starmie and Suzie's Vulpix quickly maneuvered into tactical positions.
The combined attacks of the three Pokémon intertwined in the air, forming a spiraling storm that instantly reduced the robots to scraps.
"Aaaah! We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket's classic farewell echoed, signaling the end of the brief disturbance.
As the smoke cleared, Kazuki's hand still rested gently on Jenny's waist.
Jenny's tanned cheeks flushed red, her police badge rising and falling with her rapid breathing. "Um... could you let go now?"
"Sorry." Kazuki released her with a teasing smile, fingertips lingering over the warmth of her uniform fabric. "But, Officer Jenny, your heart was beating pretty fast just now—were you scared?"
"N-no, of course not!" Flustered, Jenny quickly straightened her skirt, only to notice the Kangaskhan baby affectionately rubbing itself against Kazuki's leg.
In the distance, the mother Kangaskhan called anxiously, but the baby stubbornly clung to Kazuki's clothes, refusing to let go.
Suzie knelt down, the delicate fragrance from her neck enticing the baby Kangaskhan to sniff curiously.
"Let's take you back home," Suzie gently picked up the baby Pokémon, her hair falling softly to reveal the pale skin of her graceful neck.
Misty leaned over, playfully poking at the baby's paw pads, making it giggle happily.
Watching the trio escort the Kangaskhan baby away, Officer Jenny pressed her palm against her wildly beating heart.
At that moment, her radio crackled urgently with a colleague's voice: "We've spotted poachers in the southern zone! They're equipped with electric weapons..."
