The final phase of the auction began, and the bidding war became fiercer than before. Before the break, there were 10 items left.

Of the ten, seven legendary-grade items, two mystical and one unknown.

The auction resumed, and six out of the seven legendary-grade items were sold, with the cheapest being bought at 600 billion spirit stones.

One could only wonder how much the mystical items would sell for.

However, that was answered right after the last legendary grade item was sold, and right now, another crystal is displayed.

Everybody started wondering just what this crystal could do, so when Alina mentioned its name, everyone reached for their wallets and purses.

"This is what we call a Domain Crystal. As its name suggests, this item came from the Ancient Battlefield and was formed from the clash between laws.

We don't know what type of laws or how many were captured in this crystal, but I know for a fact that this is something for those who want to have a chance at entering the Root Sovereign stage.

I don't have to say much. You all know what a Domain Crystal can do, so the bidding is set at 150 billion with a 100 million minimum increment.

The bidding started with a huge leap, making the next bid enter a heated stage where everyone was now trying their luck.

Kent smirked, and then he got serious. He could already start hearing new voices, and from the pressure behind those voices, he could tell they were not people he could trifle with.

Yet the allure of having such a treasure was more than enough to make him offend these people. In fact, after seeing the details of his first undead, he knew the second and third were already going to be monstrous.

Then this crystal appeared, and he knew he was going to become a terror in the coming weeks. He himself wants to become monstrous, and the only way of growing is to face dangers.

And he knew after this auction, his life would become much more monstrous.

"700 billion," a voice spoke, and the next followed, raising the price by ten billion. A few seconds later, the price reached 800 billion, and dozens reached their limit.

Then, only the big three remained.

However, there was another voice, a feminine one, that joined the bid when it reached 600 billion. Kent observed quietly until the price climbed to 850 billion.

That was when the three Metal Saints, who had proven to hold considerable wealth, chose to show everyone they were not poor.

"960 billion."

At this point, a record was about to be broken—a record set over two decades ago when the final item of the auction was displayed.

It was an Ambrosia apple, and it sold for 1.5 trillion spirit stones. That sale was what propelled the Silver Life Auction House to its current prominence.

So, seeing an item approach that milestone, one could only hope it would be surpassed. This would not only solidify the auction house's reputation but also extend its reach to many more businesses.

They were already planning to rub it in his face as they took the other items he had bought right after they slit his throat.

That was their plan. Unfortunately, he meant every word when Kent promised to shatter their hopes and dreams.

"A Domain Crystal, huh? Adding it to my collection wouldn't be a bad thing," Kent spoke and smiles spread across the faces of everyone who had been expecting him to bid.

"I bid 2 trillion."

Kent spoke his bid, and just like the ones he made before, everyone fell silent. A pin-drop stillness filled the room.

"The gentleman in VIP room 13 bids 2 trillion. Are there any more bids?" Alina asked, already smiling inwardly.

"The gentleman in VIP room 13 bids 2 trillion. Are there any more bids?" she called out again, but nobody made any further bids.

"Since there are no more bids, the Domain Crystal is sold to the gentleman in VIP room 13." Kent won the bid, and a loud slam echoed from VIP room 10.

The three Metal Saints left, and from the way they marched out, one could tell they were furious at the turn of events.

"Looks like somebody is in trouble," Unity teased Kent, who smiled and leaned back into Mara's embrace.

"Trouble seems to find me even when I'm just being myself. But this is good. I'll finally be able to test my strength against the schemes of three Transcendents."

He smiled, knowing avoiding this battle between him and the three Metal Saints was inevitable.

"Just make sure you don't get hurt," Lilian said, and Kent nodded.

"But even if you get hurt, make sure the dragon between your legs remains healthy. That's the only way we can ease your pain," Selene added, making the ladies blush.

They had just had a marathon with their man, and from the look of things, they had succeeded in planting the seed of lust in another lady.

The rest would depend on whether or not Alina was able to get the Ambrosia apple from Kent.

Naturally, she had already fallen when she couldn't turn and run after seeing what Kent and his ladies were doing.

She saw everything, and when she finally recovered, she remembered what her master had told her.

This scared the life out of her.

But in the coming weeks, whenever she felt lonely, the images would surface, and from there, she would start to realize that perhaps she had fallen into a perfectly crafted plan put together by her own employee.
