She was also there to bid him farewell, so they went back together.

Though they aren't best friends, he and Old Sword are on good terms. So his leaving seems to have affected her somehow.

Kent looked at her and smiled. "Your time will come, big sister. But don't forget, you said you would only ascend after breaking eight limits. You are two limits short, so perhaps let's focus on that first."

Lady Enzi shrugged and said, "Old Sword only broke six, but he had ascended."

"Well, he had comprehended Intent Solidification, so I can boldly say he had reached the point to ascend. You, on the other hand, are still lacking."

Lady Enzi glared at Kent, then an evil smile appeared on her face. "If I am lacking, why don't we spar and see who will be eating sand?"

Kent smiled and shook his head. "Sorry to burst your bubble, big sister, but as it happens, I am not the same person I was a few weeks ago.

I have reached the stage where I can wipe the floor with you and make it on time for breakfast." Kent leaked a sliver of his aura, causing Lady Enzi to raise her brow.

"You... How?" She could sense that if Kent unleashed his entire aura, she would pass out. The bloodlust she felt was one she had never felt before, yet she knew it was beyond her.

Kent smiled and waved his hand, sending both himself and Lady Enzi into the Body Tower.

"No need to look shocked, big sister. When it comes to who the true predator is, you are looking at him. That said, since you are my sister, I will be sure to help you not fall behind."

Kent pointed at the Golden Titan Stairway. "That is a supreme treasure that will aid you in your body cultivation journey just by climbing.

You are already a Diamond Body, so reaching the Sage stage is only a matter of time. Even so, start from the first step, for every 100 steps climbed comes with a reward you wouldn't want to miss out on.

It might even help you break more limits on your body.

Reaching the Nirvana Body cultivation stage will demand more, but I have yet to reach that stage, so perhaps after reaching the Sage stage, you can focus on your foundation.

There is a place for that, too. You will be taken there when you reach the Sage body stage and have climbed to the 1,200th step."

Lady Enzi nodded, already aware of the heaven-defying treasures Kent owned.

"You can start now, and since twenty-four hours here is an hour outside, you should be done in a month. That will be a day and a few hours on the outside."

The two of them started climbing the stairs, with Kent merely running through since he had already reached the 300th step.

As for the red runes, Kent knew they came from his bloodline and the cultivation path he had chosen. He could sense the primal and chaotic aura oozing from them.

"At this rate, my bones will become several times stronger than anyone my cultivation base should have," he smiled. "But then they are not the primordial Chaos Dragon, so they can run and hide."

He drank the elixir given to him by the Stairway and started to climb. Soon, he was only a step away from the 1,200th step, one that only Zaila had reached.

Seven days passed, and Kent managed to climb to the 1,500th step.

He looked at the thousands of steps leading up and sighed. "I probably won't be able to reach the 10,002 anytime soon."

Reaching the 10,002 would indeed make him someone whose physique could rival and even surpass Titans. However, to reach that level, he must do more than climb. He had to temper his body several times.

Meanwhile, Kent was nearing the 2,000th step after spending three weeks on the stairway. He had become a Sage Body and was aiming for the Nirvana Body before getting back to other things.

Three days later, Kent raised his right leg and stepped on the 2,000th step.

The moment he stepped on the 2,000th step, a flame appeared on his forehead, and before long, Kent's body was reduced to nothing, leaving only a triangular-shaped golden-red crystal behind.
