Chapter 7: chapter 6

Kai's POV

I was walking home through the dim city streets when a desperate cry cut through the night air—"Puff… puff… Haha, stop please, I'm begging you!" My eyes narrowed. There, under a flickering streetlight, I saw him: Logan Lee, the infamous bully and wrestler, tormenting a defenseless kid.

A grin spread across my face. Finally, a chance to test everything I learned from Samdak's videos in my new, god-tier body. I adjusted my hoodie, my athletic 6'7" frame moving with a calm yet predatory grace.

"Logan Lee… time to see if your wrestling tricks can handle real fighting.

I strode forward.

---

Logan's sneer turned to a scowl as he caught sight of me.

"Who the hell are you?" he barked, muscles tensing as he sized me up.

I replied coolly, "Just a guy passing by, testing something."

Without waiting for another word, I shifted into a high guard stance.

---

Logan struck first—a wild overhand punch aimed at my head. I anticipated his move with Analytical Prediction and sidestepped, letting his fist slice past. In one fluid motion, I countered with a rapid jab to his nose, following with a cross that snapped his head back.

He recovered quickly and roared, launching into a barrage: Left hook and one-two punches came in quick succession.

I responded with a pull counter—timing my Instinctive Action so perfectly that his momentum became my advantage.

I then transitioned into Taekwondo mode: A spinning back kick smashed into his midsection, an axe kick crushed his shoulder, and a liver kick sent shockwaves through his torso.

Yet Logan, a seasoned wrestler with a battle-optimized body, absorbed much of the punishment. His Damage Reduction and Pain Tolerance allowed him to keep coming.

---

Logan, frustrated yet intrigued, closed the distance. I knew this was the moment I had been waiting for—a chance to confront my past fear. In my previous lives, wrestling moves—being hoisted and slammed—had always terrified me. Tonight, I would face that fear head-on.

As Logan lunged, I purposely relaxed my guard and allowed him to grab me. His arms wrapped around my waist with a wrestler's precision, and in a heartbeat, he executed a double-leg takedown.

For a split second, as I soared off the ground, my mind flashed back to Samdak's tutorial on "How to Get Hit Without Getting Hurt." I trusted my Body Control and Muscle Memory Mastery—my new body was built for this.

I hit the pavement hard, the impact echoing in my bones. I rolled with the force, absorbing the hit as if it were nothing. A thrill surged through me.

Logan smirked, assuming he had the upper hand. But that was when I activated every lesson Samdak ever taught.

---

Recovering in mid-roll, I sprang up and began with a barrage of strikes: A crisp elbow strike aimed at his temple, a knee strike driving into his gut, and a flying knee that nearly sent him sprawling again.

Logan staggered, but his fighter's instincts took over. He lunged for another grapple. I sidestepped, using my Kinetic Vision to track his every twitch. In a blur of motion, I executed a series of advanced techniques:

- I unleashed a rapid uppercut followed by a calf kick and an oblique kick, destabilizing him further.

- As he tried to clinch me again, I transitioned into a Flying Armbar—my legs wrapping around his arm in a perfect arch.

- With Savage Precision, I locked in a D'arce Choke, forcing him to struggle for breath.

- I then shifted, freeing one arm to deliver a Dual Tympanic Attack—both hands clapping down on his ears with pinpoint accuracy, disorienting him completely.

- Not letting him recover, I followed with a Cross Collar Choke and a Baseball Bat Choke, ensuring every potential weakness was exploited.

Throughout the melee, I maintained perfect control, seamlessly moving between striking and grappling as Logan's attacks grew more desperate.

---

With Logan dazed, I knew it was time to end this lesson. I shifted my grip, applying a precise Triangle Choke—each red dot of weakness on his body, as seen through my Savage Precision, was now under my control.

"Tap out, or I'll kill you," I whispered, my voice calm despite the intensity of our exchange.

Logan's eyes, once filled with arrogance, now burned with reluctant defeat as he finally tapped out.

"Logan, let's be part of my crew. It's called Heavenly Dragon. You have a lot of potential, and I'll make you stronger."

Logan, panting but intrigued, nodded. "Okay, can't wait."

I smirked. "Ah, it's great I got Logan Lee in my crew. Even Gun had said that he has a perfect battle body. I'll make him even stronger. I know he needs 30 minutes to regain his stamina—imagine if he only needed a second. I'll make him unstoppable."

"Tonight, I conquered not just you, but the fear that once held me back."

Without another word, I turned and walked away, anticipation building for the journey ahead at J-High.
