Quirkless Hero

Chapter 223: Chapter 223 Finale: Variations

"Lemillion!"

All Might's eyes turned red as he watched Mirio fall.

No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't break free from Midoriya Izuku's steel wires.

This time, the restraints were specially reinforced to prevent him from escaping. With brute force alone, it was nearly impossible to break free.

"Don't worry, All Might," Midoriya said calmly. "Mirio will be fine. And as for you and the other real heroes, I won't lay a hand on you."

"Because… my targets are only those who don't deserve to be called heroes."

With those words, Midoriya Izuku turned and walked away.

It was time for him to fulfill his role as the executioner.

"No! Stop!"

All Might's desperate shouts echoed behind him, but Midoriya didn't waver.

He was no longer the soft-hearted boy who once dreamed of being a hero.

"Now then… where are those filthy rats hiding?"

Muttering to himself, Midoriya Izuku raised his head as a steel wire extended from the sky and connected to him.

Through the resonance of his replicated bodies, he could now perceive the entire state of Tokyo.

Many pro heroes were completely trapped by the steel wire web spreading inward, unable to move. But most people were fleeing toward the center, trying to avoid being caught. Given the situation, that was a smart choice. But wasn't this exactly what Midoriya Izuku had planned?

Sensing that he had found his intended targets, Midoriya's lips curled into a chilling smile as he stepped forward. It was time to wipe out the problem.

The enemy forces hiding in Tokyo—some had come because the Japanese government secretly gathered them, while others were opportunists trying to profit from the chaos. But they all shared one goal: to eliminate the League of Villains.

Midoriya Izuku's League of Villains had severely threatened the survival of criminal organizations. No one wanted to wake up one day and find themselves beheaded.

The first time these enemy groups banded together to overthrow the League of Villains, they were instead crushed by the "Steel Wire Death God." After that, they scattered and hid, prioritizing their own survival.

But when the Japanese government started gathering them again, they regrouped. They had secretly infiltrated Tokyo, planning to strike when the heroes and the League of Villains had exhausted each other—a classic ambush strategy.

However, the battle between the heroes and the League of Villains turned out to be far beyond what they had imagined.

This wasn't even a fight on the same level. If they showed themselves, they would only get slaughtered. It was better to just stay hidden and wait it out.

But as they clung to that thought, the steel wire web expanded to cover all of Tokyo, forcing everyone toward the center.

They had tried everything—breaking through head-on, digging tunnels, escaping through the sewers. But no one could breach the steel wire's enclosure. Anyone who got too close was instantly ensnared.

With no other options, the criminals had no choice but to flee toward the center.

At the same time, the pro heroes found themselves face-to-face with this mass of criminals.

Now that the steel wire web had cut off all other escape routes, it was inevitable that everyone would end up in the same place.

Many of the fleeing criminals were recognized by the pro heroes, but they hesitated to act—there were simply too many enemies.

The villains, too, hesitated. The number of pro heroes here was no joke. If a fight broke out, they might be the ones who suffered.

"Looks like everyone's here. Time to settle the score."

A figure suddenly appeared, drawing the attention of every pro hero and villain alike.

Immediately, one of the criminals shuddered and stammered out his name:

"Steel… Steel Wire Death God!"

"It's Midoriya Izuku!!"

The pro heroes were just as shocked.

The leader of the League of Villains had shown up right in front of them.

Did this mean All Might had been defeated?!

"No need to be so surprised. First, you."

The criminal who had just called out his name—before he could even react, Midoriya flicked his finger.

In an instant, the man's body split in two. Blood and organs splattered onto the ground.

"I know all about you. Breaking into homes, robbing people, murdering the man who tried to stop you. You escaped before they could catch you."

He had barely moved his hand, yet a man had already been killed.

Everyone watching was filled with terror.

But Midoriya simply smiled and continued speaking.

"I remember every single crime committed by each villain here. And even among you so-called heroes, there are plenty of scumbags who don't deserve the title."

"So… isn't it time to settle all accounts?"

There were nearly ten thousand people in this place—pro heroes and criminals combined.

Yet, at this moment, every single one of them was trembling at the words of just one man.

Because standing before them was no longer a person.

He was a reaper.

"Don't be afraid! He's just one man! Attack him together!"

The one who shouted this didn't even get to finish his sentence before his head was sliced off by a sharp wire.

He died without even realizing what had happened.

But his words had stirred the remaining villains.

They refused to go down without a fight. Fueled by their numbers, they launched a desperate all-out attack.

But… it was a foolish dream.

Even All Might couldn't defeat Midoriya Izuku at full strength.

And right now, Midoriya wasn't fighting.

He was slaughtering.

His mind instantly recalled the details of every person before him.

Those who had crossed his bottom line were sentenced to death.

Those whose crimes didn't warrant execution were ensnared in steel wires and hung in midair, waiting for their Quirks to be stripped away.

The ground was soon littered with bodies.

The criminals who had tried to take down Midoriya Izuku were now nothing more than a mountain of corpses.

Among them, the so-called "heroes" who had fallen into corruption and committed unforgivable crimes were also found and executed.

Unqualified heroes.

Criminals who brought nothing but chaos.

They were burdens that society didn't need.

This was a cruel and ruthless purge.

A necessary operation to heal a diseased world.

Even if the process was soaked in blood, Midoriya Izuku had no hesitation.

"P-please… don't kill me!"

A villain, completely broken by fear, fell to his knees before Midoriya, begging for his life.

But in the next moment, a silver wire flashed.

His head fell to the ground, his wide eyes still frozen in terror.

"Go beg for forgiveness in hell from the people you hurt."

Midoriya's voice was indifferent as he turned his gaze toward the last remaining group of criminals.

Behind him, corpses were piled like mountains.

In mere moments, the unworthy had been wiped out.

And now, all that remained were those too terrified to resist.

"The only ones left to deal with… are you."

Midoriya spoke like the harbinger of death. His enemies, already consumed by despair, could do nothing but sit and wait for the inevitable.

Just then, someone suddenly attacked Midoriya Izuku.

But this time, Midoriya neither dodged nor countered. After all, the one attacking him was someone he knew better than anyone—Bakugo Katsuki.

A powerful explosion struck Midoriya right in the face. But now, Bakugo's attacks felt like nothing more than a light breeze to him.

"Midoriya Izuku, you bastard! You've gone way too far this time!!"

"I didn't expect to see you here… but why are you trying to stop me?"

As the smoke from the explosion cleared, Midoriya looked at Bakugo in confusion. Why was he in Tokyo? And why had he chosen to step in at this moment?

"It's not just me—everyone's here!"

As Bakugo's words fell, figures hidden among the pro heroes began to reveal themselves—Hatsume Mei, Todoroki Shoto, Takeyama Urei, Uraraka Ochako… and most of Class 1-A.
