Chapter 84: Obey me
Warning:- This chapter contains forced marking that might trigger a few people so tread carefully.
…..
Hades never once thought about throwing his life away.
Even after hearing of the sins his past self had committed.
Even after feeling the grief Samarella had carried all these years.
Even after realizing the deep scar he might have carved into every race.
Despite it all, the thought of sacrifice never crossed his mind.
Because his life wasn't his alone anymore.
He belonged to Luna. How could he even imagine abandoning her?
That's when the voice echoed inside him—calm, commanding, impossible to ignore:
[Get closer to her. I will draw the Sovereign's Realm.]
Hades froze. His heart pounded as disbelief shook him.
'What? How is that possible? Isn't this technique reserved only for Warlords… no, for dragons ranked even higher?'
He knew of the technique. Every human who has received a certain level of knowledge did.
Unlike the barrier domains used by elves or beastkin, this was something far beyond.
A Sovereign's Realm didn't build a space. It rewrote reality itself—bending it to the dragon's will.
Where others forged a cage, a dragon unleashed its bloodline authority—turning the battlefield into a mirror of their elemental nature, instincts, and pride.
A domain gave advantage. A Realm stripped away freedom.
It forced the enemy to fight under the dragon's laws.
[Samarella's soul has only just merged with the girl's. Her spirit is still weak. She won't be able to resist the Realm. You only need to make contact.]
And that was how they ended up here.
Samarella's eyes blazed with fury as she glared at him, her voice trembling with rage.
"How… how can someone who hasn't even awakened his first core fully… use the Realm?"
Her teeth ground together. Yet she could do nothing. The air itself had betrayed her.
Hades stood tall, suspended in the sky with the Realm under his command.
He could feel the strain burning inside his chest. His control was absolute—for now. But only for a few minutes before his Core began to crack under the weight.
He exhaled slowly, gaze fixed on her.
"I'd love to answer your questions," he said, voice cold and steady. "But right now… I've got something more important to do."
At his command, the ground vines coiling around Samarella's limbs slammed her down into the earth.
"W-What are you doing?" Samarella's voice trembled, her eyes widening in disbelief. She already knew. She knew exactly what he was about to do.
Hades' chest rose and fell heavily. He stripped away his garments, not out of lust, but ritual. The Realm demanded bare truth—soul to soul, body to body.
'Forgive me, Luna…I am betraying you…'
He tore at the Goddess's shirt with merciless hands.
"STOP! STOP RIGHT NOW! I WILL NEVER BE YOUR MATE!!" Samarella roared, her voice shaking the Realm itself. Behind her, the phantom of a mighty dragon unfurled, its blazing eyes glaring down at him with killing intent.
For a heartbeat, Hades faltered. His heart thundered in his chest.
[Short on time. Shake out of it.]
The inner voice snapped him back. His grip tightened. His Realm surged in response—vines constricting tighter, the ground trembling under his will. There was no room for hesitation.
Samarella writhed, struggling to break free, but within the Sovereign's Realm her soul was bound. No matter how much she fought, this was his law, his sky, his ground.
*TEAR.*
The final layer of cloth gave way, revealing her form—smooth, flawless, unblemished, save for the gaping void at her chest, the mark of her fractured soul.
Tears welled in her eyes, fury mixing with grief.
Hades locked his gaze on her, his own eyes burning with sorrow and resolve.
"I have no other choice," he whispered, voice raw. "I cannot kill you… and I cannot let myself die. The only way left… is to bind you to me."
He soon held her waist and connected her body to hers.
They shared the heat, their bodies becoming one.
This was the second time he was embracing a woman…and the strange part, he met her just a few minutes ago.
[Dragons aren't gentle creatures.]
Hades gritted his teeth before his hold against her frame became stronger, leaving her breathless.
There was no space between them, their faces a breath away.
Her breath stumbles under the weight of his body and aura wrapping around her.
[Now, release the embers.]
He was already told the process of…force marking.
He doesn't begin with her lips.
His mouth roams slowly down her jaw, her throat, her collarbone—kissing not like a lover, but like a dragon mapping territory. Each kiss is heated, lingering long enough to leave the faintest ember glow on her skin.
"Mm…" she moaned uncomsciously.
Despite the hatred towards him, her instincts were betraying her.
For the past thousand years she had preserved her maidenhood for the sake of her destined one.
Never in her wildest dream she believed it would be taken by the being she hated the most.
His hands roam as much as his mouth—fingers spreading across her back, her waist, the inside of her thighs.
Wherever he touches, her body responds in a way that isn't wholly her own—his draconic aura forcing her nerves to awaken. By the time he's kissed and touched nearly every inch of her, her body is burning with his presence.
Just when his lips were inches away from her womanhood, she called out…in a shaky breath,
"P-Please…don't. I take an oath of to forget about my revenge…so please, I beg you…" tears continued to stream down her face, and in that moment, Hades faltered.
Just then,
[Her skin is releasing poison. She is melting the vines.]
Hades's eyes snapped towards her hands, and instantly he raised his hand to block the incoming claw towards his chest.
Samarella had liberated herself and she was inches away from gauging his heart.
Hades hastily commanded and more vines protruded before coiling around her wrists.
"DAMN YOU!! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! I AM NOT YOURS TO POSSESS!" She howled, her aura becoming a dense fog around him.
However, Hades remained indifferent.
Coldly glaring at her, he said, "I might be hesitant until now, but not anymore. You are blinded by rage and you won't stop unless either of us is dead."
Hades pressed himself against her, his lips brushing against hers, as he whispered, "But once you become my mate you would be left with no choice but to obey me."
