“Quick battle, quick decision,” Lu Hao said.

He was concerned that they might attract more Mutated Beasts, and the trees around them were already filled with “spectators” watching the battle.

The eyeballs that resembled light bulbs gave Su Jin goosebumps, even though she knew they were just mutated owls. Being watched by so many eyes in the darkness was not a pleasant experience.

At this point, the pack of grey wolves had begun to show signs of retreat, seeing that the two humans were tough opponents.

However, Su Jin had already set up wooden spikes all around, impaling a few more grey wolves. The ones trying to flee were also struck down by Lu Hao’s Fireballs, losing their lives.

The wolf pack was dealt with. Su Jin did not dare to linger any longer. She collected the bodies scattered around the ground and those within Lu Hao’s formations into the Space. Then, the two of them slowly concealed themselves behind a large tree and entered the Space.

At this very moment, on the rooftop of a stone house at the North Mountain Summit, a man and a woman stood hand in hand, astonished by the sporadic bursts of fire halfway up the mountain.

Could it be that someone climbed the mountain in the middle of the night? Or was there a fight between Mutated Beasts?

Only after the lights had completely died down did the two jump down from the not-so-high rooftop.
