Reborn in Konoha; I Think I’m Cultivating Immortality

Chapter 356: Chapter 356

"Floating in the air without wings... yet another new technique."

The Third Mizukage muttered to himself as he gazed at Hui, who hovered in the sky above.

It wasn't news to anyone that Hui could take to the skies, this had been known for over a decade. But previously, he had always used wings to achieve flight.

Now, he appeared to float effortlessly, without any visible external aid.

It reminded the Third Mizukage of Onoki's Dust release.

"Could it be... he's mastered Dust release as well?"

The Third Kazekage voiced his speculation, causing a flicker of unease in Onoki's heart.

If anyone else had made such a claim, Onoki would have dismissed it as naive and ridiculous.

Did they think Dust release was something any random person could learn? How laughable.

But if it was Hui they were talking about, Onoki wasn't so sure.

After all, this man was a creator, someone who had invented countless new techniques. In his hands, anything seemed possible.

"Let's wait and see. Let these ordinary soldiers test Hui's current strength first," the Third Raikage suggested.

Although he doubted the soldiers would force Hui to reveal much, even glimpsing one of his new techniques would provide valuable information.

"A flying ninja... he's similar to that guy from Iwagakure, Onoki," one of the daimyo said, his expression heavy as he observed Hui in the sky.

"He seems to have a lot of chakra left, and since he's in the air, it'll be difficult for our army to attack him," another daimyo said, visibly concerned.

Their armies were composed mostly of ordinary men. For such troops, the only way to attack something high above was with arrows.

But the sudden gust of wind earlier had shown them how futile using arrows against this man would be.

"Why not send Onoki? And the Third Kazekage from Sunagakure, he can fly too, can't he?"

One of the daimyo suggested, proposing that flying ninja should be sent to deal with another flying ninja.

"That does make sense. Let's inform them," agreed the daimyo from the Land of Wind.

Soon after, messengers approached Onoki and the Third Kazekage to relay the plan.

The two leaders exchanged glances, their eyes filled with reluctance.

Theoretically, the idea was sound, only flying ninja could effectively counter another flying ninja.

But neither of them was eager to face Hui right now, even though they had already steeled themselves for death.

"It's time to end this war."

At that moment, Hui's voice resonated from the sky, catching everyone below off guard.

"End this war? By himself? How arrogant!" scoffed the daimyo from the Land of Wind.

Though Hui's voice wasn't loud, it carried across the entire battlefield, ensuring that even the daimyo could hear him.

"One person is enough," Hui replied, his words leaving the daimyo stunned.

Despite the distance, the daimyo knew his earlier scoff had been heard.

"From this day forward, there will no longer be daimyo or separate shinobi villages.

I will shatter the old world and forge a new era."

Standing high above, Hui looked down upon the people below, his tone unwaveringly confident.

The crowd below fell silent, many of them awestruck by the sheer dominance in his words.

"Such incredible presence... it's terrifying," a ninja muttered as he looked up at Hui, finally understanding why the elders of his village spoke of this man with such fear and reverence.

Most of the shinobi from the Four Great Villages were young, in their twenties or thirties. Many of them hadn't participated in the war thirteen years ago.

For them, this was the first time seeing Hui, the man hailed as a god by the shinobi world.

They had heard countless tales of Hui's overwhelming power, but those stories had always seemed distant, almost mythical.

Now, for the first time, they were beginning to grasp the reality of his strength.

This man, no matter how strong he truly was, radiated an overwhelming aura of dominance.

"How arrogant! We have an army of 150,000 here, and you think three people can defeat the entire world?"

Someone, shaken by Hui's commanding presence, couldn't help but voice their anger at his words.

The speaker was a daimyo. Even though he had just witnessed the terrifying battle between the ninja forces, which had given him a newfound respect for their power, he still couldn't accept the idea of Hui being godlike.

"150,000 men sounds like a lot. But if numbers alone were enough to win battles, why would strength even matter?

"I've always wondered why powerful ninja allow themselves to be controlled by weak daimyo. It defies logic.

"That's why I broke this distorted system and made Konoha the leader of the Land of Fire, governed by ninja.

"And the results have proven me right.

"Today, the Land of Fire is the strongest and wealthiest nation in the world.

"And Konoha is the strongest and richest shinobi village in existence."

Hui's words made the daimyo's pupils contract, and even the ninja on the battlefield couldn't hide their reactions.

But Hui simply continued, his tone unwavering.

"There's no point in wasting words on you. After all, you won't have the chance to act on them."

"A slight smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he added,

"Does anyone here still remember those two men of legend, Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha?

"They were called legendary ninja, and anyone who witnessed their power firsthand was utterly awed, left without the will to resist.

"Even those who only glimpsed fragments of their strength were struck with terror, haunted by their might for a lifetime.

"Many who feared them believed they had seen the full extent of their abilities. But the truth is, what they saw was merely a fraction of their power, a trivial display at best."

Hui's gaze shifted to Onoki, whose face grew dark and uncertain.

"I have many ways to eliminate all of you in one move.

"But that's not my goal. I don't want a world with just Konoha Village left standing.

"So today, I'll show you a glimpse of the true power that those two legendary ninja once wielded.

"And perhaps, after witnessing it, you'll be wise enough to surrender."

As he finished speaking, Hui smiled faintly.

In the next moment, an overwhelming chakra erupted from him.

This wasn't ordinary chakra, it was Sage Chakra.

Although he had said he would demonstrate the power of Hashirama and Madara, Hui was still somewhat unaccustomed to using pure chakra alone.

On the other hand, relying entirely on natural energy felt like overkill.

So he chose to use Sage Chakra instead.

The terrifying Sage Chakra burst forth, quickly condensing into a visible form.

The air around Hui glowed brightly as the chakra gathered, forming flesh and bones.

In the blink of an eye, the chakra coalesced into a massive, humanoid form, a towering silver Sage Chakra giant.

But it didn't stop there.

The silver light flickered, and a stunning suit of armor materialized on the giant's body, its brilliance dazzling.

A silver cape formed from condensed lightning appeared next, billowing behind the giant.

Finally, a massive longsword, crackling with lightning, took shape in the giant's hand. The blade pulsed with arcs of electricity that danced across its surface.

When the transformation was complete, the giant stood over 300 meters tall. Its entire body radiated Sage Chakra, its cape flowing with silver lightning. Its eyes gleamed like brilliant stars, and its form was encased in radiant silver armor.

The giant stood motionless in the air for a moment before descending slowly.

Boom!

The ground below was barren, but the instant the giant's feet touched the earth, the ground trembled violently. The land cracked open, the impact reverberating like thunder across the battlefield.

This was a giant that towered between heaven and earth.

A giant entwined with lightning, like a thunder god incarnate.

"This... is the true power that those two legendary ninja once wielded.

"This is... the strength of the God of Shinobi.

"Though such power is insignificant to me, it is more than enough.

"Now, do you believe I have the ability to end this war?"

Hui's voice rang out from the giant's forehead, echoing across the battlefield.
