Reborn in Konoha; I Think I’m Cultivating Immortality

Chapter 360: Chapter 360

Since the rain contained chakra, it was clear it had a unique purpose.

Hui immediately enveloped his body in a layer of energy, forming a protective membrane to block the chakra-infused rain from coming into contact with him.

Sure enough, when the rain hit the ground, a hissing sound of corrosion echoed.

The rain possessed an extremely potent corrosive effect!

However, it was completely ineffective against Hui.

Just then, the ground beneath his feet suddenly collapsed.

It turned out that the land beneath him had been hollowed out long ago by the Third Kazekage, leaving only a thin layer that was now being eaten away by the corrosive rain, causing it to cave in entirely.

As the ground gave way, the Third Raikage, Ay, and the Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki, appeared above the pit.

Hui was incredibly fast, and the only one capable of "keeping up" with him was the Third Raikage.

If it had been Ōnoki alone, he would have been unable to capitalize on this moment.

But this wasn't a one-on-one duel, it was four super-Kage-level shinobi working together against Hui.

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World!!!"

A massive transparent cube emerged from Ōnoki's hands, shooting downward at tremendous speed.

The Dust Release cube was enormous, larger than the pit itself, and completely enveloped the area, leaving no room for escape.

At this moment, Hui was falling, with nothing to grab onto for leverage. No matter how fast he was, it seemed impossible for him to escape in time.

Ōnoki felt a glimmer of hope, believing he might finally succeed.

He even wanted to shout: This is the power of the Four Kage!

However, he failed to notice the faint smile curling at the corner of Hui's lips.

Slash!!!

The sound of a blade slicing through flesh echoed in the air.

Ōnoki's eyes widened in disbelief.

His arm had been severed and was now plummeting from the sky.

The blade that had cut through his arm belonged to none other than Hui, who was now standing right beside him.

In an instant, Hui had appeared at Ōnoki's side.

After severing Ōnoki's arm, Hui delivered a powerful kick, sending the Third Raikage, who had been holding onto Ōnoki, hurtling toward the ground.

The two crashed to the earth with tremendous force, raising a cloud of dust upon impact.

"Ōnoki!"

The Third Kazekage and Third Mizukage quickly rushed to their fallen comrades, keeping a wary eye on Hui while checking Ōnoki's injuries.

"How… How is this possible? Why… Why did you suddenly appear there?"

Ōnoki's face was deathly pale, blood gushing from the stump of his arm. He could feel his strength rapidly draining away, along with his life force.

The blood loss was severe, and there was no way to stop it.

He knew he was going to die. He also realized that Hui hadn't decapitated him but had instead severed his arm to let him linger in despair.

But Ōnoki couldn't accept this. He couldn't fathom how Hui had suddenly appeared beside him.

Unless…

"Look at the Third Raikage's arm," Hui said from above, his voice calm.

The others turned their gaze and saw a mysterious mark etched onto the Third Raikage's arm. It was a sealing formula—

"Flying Thunder God Technique…"

The realization struck Ōnoki like a thunderbolt, draining the last bit of color from his face.

Hui had never used the Flying Thunder God Technique before, leading everyone to speculate that he lacked spatial ninjutsu abilities.

If he had possessed spatial abilities, he wouldn't have refrained from using them. The Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, would never have withheld such a technique from him.

And yet, after thirteen years, Hui had mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Ōnoki had already thought Hui's strength was absurdly overwhelming. Now, with the addition of the Flying Thunder God Technique, he couldn't imagine any way to defeat him.

What Ōnoki didn't realize was that, to Hui, the Flying Thunder God Technique wasn't even that crucial.

The reason Hui allowed these individuals to think they stood a chance of defeating or even killing him was simple: he had yet to take this battle seriously.

There were layers of his strength he hadn't even begun to utilize, his Silver Lightning Armor, his Celestial Eye Divine Ability, his Divine Ability of Mind reading, and other formidable powers remained untouched.

Even techniques like the Giant Thunder God or the Light Sword Arts had been withheld.

In his current state, Hui was operating under self-imposed restrictions, suppressing his full strength.

If he released his restraints entirely, dealing with the four super-Kage opponents would be child's play.

If he truly wanted to kill them, it wouldn't even take a minute for all four to fall.

Ōnoki coughed violently, a mouthful of blood spraying forth. His body rapidly aged as the backlash of his secret technique took hold.

His eyes began to dim, and he collapsed into a pool of his own blood, gazing up at Hui in the sky with a dazed expression.

At that moment, his entire life flashed before his eyes like a film reel. In mere seconds, he relived his entire past.

The final image was of Iwagakure, as seen from his office as the Tsuchikage.

"Forgive me... I failed to protect Iwagakure..."

Muttering those words, Ōnoki slumped lifelessly in the Third Raikage's arms.

The Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki of Iwagakure, was dead.

Seeing Ōnoki's lifeless body, the Third Raikage, still in his semi-beast form, burned with rage.

Hui had used him as a stepping stone to close the distance and fatally strike Ōnoki.

Though Ōnoki was destined to die, as were all of them, the Third Raikage couldn't suppress his anger.

Despite his fury, he maintained his composure.

Without a word, he pulled out a kunai and cut off a piece of flesh from his arm where Hui's Flying Thunder God Technique seal had been placed.

With his hand forming seals, several black lightning dragons roared toward Hui in the sky.

The battle was far from over, and all three remaining Kage were still in a state of life-draining overdrive. Every second was precious, and they couldn't afford to waste even a moment.

The Third Kazekage and the Third Mizukage joined the assault.

A storm of iron sand spikes surged upward, and acidic rain needles rained down from above in a seamless, all-encompassing attack.

On the sidelines, Mifune, unable to find an opening to intervene, focused his gaze on the piece of flesh the Third Raikage had discarded. Tightening his grip on his longsword, he remained ready to strike at any moment.

Yet, despite the relentless attacks, Hui didn't move.

His body radiated with Sage Chakra, which swiftly coalesced into a snug-fitting suit of armor.

Hui's control over sage chakra was unparalleled. He could shape it into massive constructs like the Giant Thunder God, or compress it into a form-fitting armor.

If he desired, he could create variations of the armor, or even a miniature version of the Susanoo Armor resembling the Uchiha clan's legendary technique.

Once the energy armor took shape, it neutralized the incoming attacks completely. The all-encompassing onslaught failed to penetrate his defenses, unable to even scratch him.

Calmly, Hui descended from the sky to the ground, enduring the barrage without flinching.

This act, while minimally damaging, carried a profound sense of humiliation for his opponents.

The three Kage below were left feeling deeply frustrated and helpless.

The Third Raikage took a deep breath, his resolve unwavering. He shot forward like a cannonball, extending one hand with a single finger outstretched.

This was the super-Kage-level version of his ultimate technique: Hell Stab: One-Finger Nukite.

The Third Raikage was convinced this attack could pierce Hui's defenses.

Hui moved as well, surging forward with equal speed.

Clenching his fist, it glowed brilliantly, radiating dazzling light.

In the past, Hui had used clever strategies, like Naruto's tactics, to counter the Third Raikage's Hell Stab.

But this time, he intended to confront it head-on, using his own strength to challenge the Raikage's most powerful single-target attack.

Soon, the so-called strongest spear met Hui's invincible fist.

The result was instantaneous.

The invisible chakra spear was snapped apart, the Third Raikage's finger twisting grotesquely before shattering into pieces.

When their fists collided, the sheer force sent the Third Raikage's body hurtling backward through the air.
