Reincarnated into a World Filled with Dungeons, But My Blessing Turned Out to Be the Most Challenging Dungeon

Chapter 6

“Phew… My Blessing really came in handy.”

By now, whatever had been out there must have passed through the area I was just in. I let out a sigh of relief, knowing I was temporarily safe.

I had hidden myself inside the space created by my Blessing. Once inside, I erased the entrance, completely concealing myself.

“This ability might actually be more useful than I thought.”

At first, I’d thought it was too small compared to an item box, but once inside, it didn’t feel cramped at all. Maybe it only seemed tight earlier because of Rex’s larger build. From what I could see, it was spacious enough to fit both Miranda and Selene at the same time.

“Hm? What’s this stone?”

Feeling something odd underfoot, I looked down and saw a small, beautiful stone embedded in the ground.

I hadn’t noticed it the first time I used my Blessing. Was it always there?

“Well, whatever. At least I’m safe as long as I stay in here.”

If I waited patiently for a rescue team, I’d surely survive. For now, I decided to lie down in the space created by my skill and rest.

“Is it safe to come out yet?”

Stretching as I got up, I felt surprisingly refreshed. I’d managed to rest for quite a while and shake off my exhaustion.

However, I couldn’t stay hidden indefinitely.

If the rescue team arrived quickly, they might pass by without realizing I was here.

If that happened, I’d be completely stranded.

“Alright, let’s take a quick look outside.”

There was always the chance of running into a monster the moment I stepped out, but staying cooped up in here forever wasn’t an option. Mustering my courage, I stepped out of the space.

“Ugh… What is this?”

The area outside was a mess. The nearby rocks were melted, and the temperature had risen noticeably.

Blood—presumably from monsters—was splattered everywhere.

It looked like there had been some kind of battle here.

“Was it those things from before?”

It seemed the creature with the heavy footsteps and the lighter one had clashed in this very spot.

I had no idea which one had won—or if they had both moved further into the dungeon.

“Oh, a decent-sized magic core.”

Even in a situation like this, my training kicked in. I couldn’t resist picking it up.

I tossed the magic core into the room created by my Blessing for safekeeping.

“There’s no way I’m staying here.”

The blood-soaked air was so thick it made me nauseous, and there was always the chance one of those creatures could come back.

I decided to keep moving forward.

“I feel like I’ve come pretty far.”

Every time I sensed another presence, I used my Blessing—something I’d started calling Room—to hide and wait for the danger to pass. Slowly but surely, I made my way deeper into the dungeon.

“Oh, another magic core. Better grab it.”

The dungeon seemed to be teeming with conflicts, as I kept finding scattered magic cores along the way.

“Now then, has it gotten any bigger?”

As I continued, I started noticing something strange about my Room.

Whenever I entered, the space seemed larger than before.

Laughing to myself, I opened the Room once more to confirm my suspicions.

“Yeah, there’s no doubt about it.”

When I first entered the Room, I’d felt something was off. Now I finally understood.

The magic cores I’d stored in the Room—like the one Rex had given me—were gone.

I thought maybe I’d misplaced them, but after thoroughly searching the space, I couldn’t find them anywhere.

Even the large magic core I’d just picked up earlier had vanished.

That’s when it hit me: the Room expanded whenever a magic core disappeared.

To test my theory, I threw one of the magic cores Miranda had dropped into the Room.

When I reopened the Room a moment later, the space had grown larger again.

Realizing this, I began collecting every magic core I found and tossing them into the Room. With each one, the space expanded further and further.
