Chapter 1512: Aquarina Doesn't Want To Be Treated Like A Kid Anymore!
-----
Aquarina jumped downstairs after taking a bath and getting her new clothes, she liked having a long white robe around her body to protect her from the heat so her body wouldn't overheat and getting tired quicker, keeping her cool.
However the rest of her body? Well, she went with the usual clothes she started wearing the most once she became a teenager, shorts, accompanied by some top to cover her chest, and usually sandals or boots.
And that's about it!
She showed everything else to the world, well, in this city that didn't matter much as everyone did the same, but she usually got looks all the time in Agartha and other cities.
However, she never remembered Sylphy acting jealous or something, it seemed she enjoyed Aquarina's exposed body with her little clothes…
"Aquarina! There you are, good day," said her mother.
"Oh, Aquarina," her father greeted her. "Up for another adventure today already?"
"Yup! We're going to look for some treasures," said Aquarina.
"Treasures?" her father wondered.
As they talked, Aquarina ran to sit down while her mother brought her a huge roasted wyrm meat sandwich, some tea, and lots of fruits.
As Aquarina started eating desperately, she explained things to her parents, about Khepri, her ornaments, and her lost memory.
And of course, how she was so talkative, and had dual elements.
"And all of this happened yesterday?! Why didn't you tell us…" sighed her mother.
"Sorry, we were tired last night, and we just wanted to eat…" Aquarina shrugged. "So we kind of saved it till last. So yeah, that's about it. What do you think?"
"This is very incredible, I don't think we've ever heard or seen a Spirit that is of two elements," said Shade. "It's incredible… rare I suppose?"
"Yeah…" nodded Nepheline. "Though, if it said it came from a pyramid, don't you think they could be related with the Gods as well?"
"I was also thinking the same thing," nodded Aquarina. "And yeah, most likely, right? I mean, it's so suspicious from the beginning…"
"Would it be okay to do what it says?" wondered Nepheline.
"Well, she did make a pact with Silvia already…" sighed Aquarina. "I can do very little in this regard… And Silvia insists she's a good spirit."
Aquarina's parents looked at one another, looking rather worried. That Khepri had some weird relation with Gods could lead to two possible scenarios.
One where she was a victim of the Gods and will simply continue being an ally and generally good… Or the other, similar to what happened in the Fishman King dungeon where they ended fighting the remnants of the Goddess of Water who was insane and almost managed to kill all the children.
Or also that part where the two false gods they confronted almost killed them too! Back then when the girls battled Jupiter, Sylphy was with Aquarina, so thanks to their teamwork they survived.
But now Aquarina was with her two friends, much weaker than her, so they weren't sure if they should let her risk her life like this.
"Are you sure this is okay Aquarian? What if that bug ends up being something like Jupiter, or that other false god? What was his name?" asked Nepheline.
"Apollo," said Shade. "Yeah, that was quite a dangerous opponent, I am not sure either…"
"But mom, dad! We have to do it, or Silvia is going to lose her opportunity!" said Aquarina. "Hmm, do you really think I'm that weak? Well, it's not like you can stop me!"
"We sure can't," nodded Shade with a giggle.
"But maybe we should go with you then," said Nepheline. "I've been mostly bored lately."
"With me? R-Really? But I wanted this to be my adventure with my friends… I don't want to invite you…" Aquarina groaned, looking a bit annoyed by that.
"What?! We spent the entire time together back in Cloudia and you never complained!" said Nepheline.
"T-That was different!" Aquarina said. "I'm going on my own! I'm super strong already, and my two Spirits just evolved! I mean, look at them! Aren't they super strong now?"
Her parents glared at Undine and Leviathan.
"Yeah they had become very strong but even then they can't compare to our own," said Shade.
"Young lady, I know we give you a lot of freedom, but there are certain things we can't let you do because we worry about you and your health and safety," said Nepheline. "Even in the dangerous training you went before, we were always there supervising things went well and healing you all the time, you know?"
"B-But it's cringe! I don't want to bring my parents; my friends are going to think I'm still a kid!" Aquarina said, sighing.
"Look, we'll stay clear from you and your friends, so we'll let you do your own thing," said Shade. "We won't bother you; we'll just be around… Just making sure things are safe, okay? I can't let you deal with things related to the Gods yet."
"Yeah, you're still developing as Heroes after all," said Nepheline. "So stop with your whining, we're going!"
"Uuugggh! No! I'm not going with you, and you can't force me!" Aquarina got all frustrated and angry. "Why don't you trust me?! I'm so strong now and you still treat me like a kid! I-I can take care of myself, and I can protect my friends too!"
"Young lady! Stop raising your voice against your parents! This is not how we raised you, Aquarina!" Nepheline got rather irritated. "Be more respectful with your parents! We always do everything for you!"
"Nepheline, calm down," Shade patted her large parts. "…Aquarina, fine."

"Eh?" Nepheline glared at Shade with shock.
"Let her go," said Shade, nodding. "She's not wrong. She's grown up now, she can take care of herself. She even has a Divinity Spark and is also Tier 8. She has beaten monsters that were even Tier 10. I think she'll be alright."
"D-Dad!" Aquarina felt happy, smiling. "Yeah! Dad knows me better than you mom! He's right!"
"W-Wha… Of course I know you better than your father, I gave birth to you, little rascal…!" Nepheline groaned, but then sighed, lowering her head. "Haaahh… Okay, fine! Do whatever you want, ugh… I just can't with this girl…"
