Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 1588: Back To The Oasis Village

-----

Once finally outside of the dungeon, Agua helped them quickly leave the underground rivers, using her water bubble, she moved everyone back through the hole in the depths of the Oasis, finally emerging from the water. Everyone sighed in relief as they landed near the shore, looking at the sky, it was already night!

"I-It's night already?! Ah shit, my parents are going to kill me if I get late!" Justicio cried. "I promised them I would get there before dinner…"

"We have to hurry back home then!" Aquarina said. "Ah right, should we go first confirm everything went fine to Agua's village?"

"I-I guess we should, yeah…" Justicio nodded. "But let's make it quick please."

"Aw come on man, you're already grown up, and you're still letting your dad, and your mom just order you around?" Silvia giggled. "You're alive and that's what matters. I bet they're not even going to get that angry if you bring them some lobster meat!"

"You're just way too relaxed sometimes, Silvia…" Justicio said, who was often the most carefree looking of the group, always yawning and being sleepy.

"We're close, follow me, everyone," Agua smiled.

She felt a bit nervous herself, gripping her staff tightly, after all, she had never thought about leaving the desert, she was perhaps too afraid of doing so.

Even less to ask her mother, the figure of authority of the village, and someone that was also very strict and that always prioritized traditions.

"Oh, Agua is back."

"The heroine has come back as well."

"Call the chief."

"Welcome back heroine and her friends, Agua."

The people of the village quickly greeted them, most of them were taking care of their farms even at this hour, while a few were already cooking dinner. There were also guards at the village's entrance at all times.

"Hello everyone, the expedition was fortuitous, and we were able to secure what they wanted," Agua explained. "Khepri, the Spirit of one of the heroine's friends, Silvia, was able to obtain her third ornament, a lost treasure from the underground. Like this, it seems we've fulfilled the heroine's request."

"Oooh, well done."

"Excellently done, Agua."

"Welcome back to the village."

"You've done your mission quite well."

As the villages congratulated her with their calm demeanors, the village chief arrived while Aquarina was being surrounded by the villagers again, asking her to bless them with her divine blessing.

"I-I already told you guys I can't bless people!" Aquarina complained, feeling embarrassed.

As she complained, the village chief arrived, a tall, slender, and beautiful Everstonian, or well, a descendant of the Everstonian that lived here, her physique was quite distinct to the Everstonians, as she didn't have as many muscles.

The people of this village were more optimized for swimming and walking and climbing around this large jungle, with large arms and legs, and slender, agile figures with lightweighted bodies. Their eyes and hair tended to also be blue colors or its various shades, connected to the water element.

"Hello, heroine and her friends, my daughter," the chief smiled, her gorgeous body barely covered by a few clothes and accessories here and there. "It seems you've done a great job. I was thinking about letting you pass the night here as well, if you don't mind? The desert is quite dangerous at night, and many powerful monsters begin roaming it."

"Really? How strong?" Aquarina wondered. "Hmm…"

She was already thinking about grinding for more EXP, leaving Justicio and Silvia completely baffled by how she acted sometimes.

"Is she for real?" Silvia sighed.

"This girl…" Justicio facepalmed.

Agua smiled lightly.

"We spent almost half a day down there, mother," said the girl. "With the heroine and her friends, we were able to explore the Dungeon as well, finding the ornament at its deepest part, the second floor."

"You mean you were able to explore that dangerous place?" gasped the chief. "Agua! Are you alright? T-That was too dangerous! I never gave you orders to go down there, only to guide them…!"

The chief quickly ran towards Agua, checking her entire body with her Mana Aura and seeing if she was completely alright.

Aquarina and her friends quickly realized Agua had a very overprotective mom.

"I'm alright, mother…" Agua sighed. "Aquarina is very powerful, and so are her friends. I was never in harm's way, even when we were surrounded by a lot of monsters. I could go on to more details later, but it could be said the mission was a success, and I've scouted the entire dungeon as well. Apparently it is still in development, there's only two floors and two bosses we defeated. I've heard from Aquarina that they reappear after some days or weeks, but right now the dungeon should be safe for exploration if you wish…"

"I-I see… Just never do something dangerous like that again," her mother nodded, sighing, looking very stressed. "You're the Priestess of the Oasis, my daughter. You simply cannot just walk recklessly into danger. Your position in the village is of extreme importance. What would we do if you… if you died? I just wouldn't even be able to… to even move on."

"Mother…" Agua sighed, hugging her mother. "I'm sorry for worrying you… I'm alright now, don't worry."

"Just please never do that again…" her mother hugged her, patting her head and kissing her forehead.

It was both cute and… well, a bit awkward. It was clear her mother loved Agua very much, despite her expressionless demeanor, but this love became a very overprotective nature as well, one of an obsessed mothers that didn't want to allow their daughter to step into danger, even if that meant helping her daughter grow and develop more this way.

Aquarina and her friends felt a bit bad, without knowing what to say… It had become more complicated after they learned how her mother was, and it might have become even harder to convince her to let Agua accompany them on their adventures.

"Well, what's done is done, let's thank the Oasis Spirit you're safe, Agua," said her mother. "My precious daughter… Please never step into danger ever again, I am very worried and-"

"T-That's enough mom…" Agua slowly pulled back from her mother, feeling a bit frustrated. "I-I am not a child anymore, you know?"

"A-Agua?!"
