Chapter 19: Blood-Hand Orik
— — — — — — —
BOOM!!
Crack... crack... crack...
Blood-Hand Orik crashed down from midair, slamming into the deck with such force that it nearly shattered completely. If not for the reinforced layers, he might have broken right through.
Even so, the impact left the deck in ruins. The area within a two- to three-meter radius around his landing spot was cracked and splintered.
Down in the prison hold, the captives felt the tremor and gasped in shock.
"The fight's started?!"
"That was loud!"
"Is Renzo okay?"
"Can he win?"
"I hope so!"
"Be careful, Renzo!"
A wave of anxious murmurs spread among the prisoners. Many whispered prayers and words of encouragement. If Renzo lost, their fate was sealed—they would be sold into slavery, a future too bleak to imagine.
"You think you can run?!"
Above deck, Orik, enraged by his missed attack, became even more furious. His veins bulged with anger as he stomped on the already broken deck, using the recoil to propel himself forward like a raging bull.
With his right fist raised, he charged straight at Renzo, aiming to smash his face in.
At this point, he didn't care about keeping Renzo intact as valuable merchandise. That kid had dared to kill his right-hand man. He had to die.
Money could always be made later, but rules had to be upheld. Otherwise, how could he maintain authority?
Seeing Orik charge in like a reckless brute, Renzo sighed internally.
"Seriously? No skill, no technique... just brute force?"
This guy was just a meathead.
"Fine! Bring it on!"
"Full Power Impact Punch!!"
This time, Renzo didn't dodge. It was the perfect chance to test his strength.
Planting his feet, he shifted into a stance, his body coiling like a drawn bow. His right fist pulled back, gathering all the strength he could muster.
The power of his Pokémon abilities and chakra surged through his arm, pushing it to its limit.
Then—
BOOM!!!
Fists collided head-on.
The moment their fists met, Orik's expression twisted in shock. A terrifying impact force traveled through his arm.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
His metal gauntlet shattered instantly, and the bones and flesh inside followed. His entire right arm broke apart, hanging limply at his side.
"No way!!!"
The pain was unbearable, but what terrified Orik more was the sheer disbelief. How could a scrawny kid be this strong?
Wasn't this brat supposed to be weak? Just a pretty-faced trophy?
"Body Flicker!"
"Rising Impact Punch!!"
Renzo didn't give Orik time to recover. In a flash, he appeared right in front of him, his fist glowing with impact energy. He struck Orik's chin with an uppercut.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Bones shattered. Orik's entire jaw caved in as his body shot into the air, rising four to five meters before stopping.
Blood streamed from his face. His nose, mouth, and ears all oozed crimson. His eyes rolled back as he lost consciousness.
A brutal, one-hit knockout.
His limp body began to fall—but was the fight over?
Not a chance.
Renzo knew better than to leave a job unfinished. A half-dead enemy was still dangerous.
Pushing off the deck, he soared up to meet Orik midair.
"Normal Fall Kick!!"
With a mid-air flip, he brought his foot down onto Orik's chest, aiming straight for the heart.
Orik's chest caved in on impact.
"Guaaah!!"
The pain jolted Orik awake just in time for him to feel his heart practically explode inside his ribcage. Pinkish-red blood spewed from his mouth.
BANG!!
His body crashed into the deck like a lifeless doll, leaving a deep indentation.
Gasping for breath, his consciousness flickered on the edge of oblivion. Even in his final moments, he couldn't comprehend how he had lost so quickly.
"Damn… the sun… it's so bright…"
That was his last thought before everything went dark.
Orik—dead.
Silence hung over the deck.
"T-The captain lost?"
"No way… That kid… how is he so strong?!"
"Wake up, Captain! You can't lose to some pretty-boy brat!"
"Screw this! Run! He's coming for us!"
Panic spread like wildfire among the pirates. They couldn't believe what they had just witnessed. Their captain—crushed in just two moves?
But reality hit hard when they saw Renzo approaching. Fear took over.
They ran.
Did you expect them to stay and fight for honor?
Ha! These scumbags had no loyalty, only self-preservation.
Of course, a few sly ones made a beeline for the captain's quarters, hoping to loot some treasure before escaping.
Opportunists to the end.
"Quick Attack: Multi-Strike!"
Renzo had no intention of letting any of them go. He had made his decision—
Total annihilation.
This wasn't just about justice. It was about avenging the innocent lives lost along the way.
It was about revenge for everything he had suffered.
Justice? He didn't really care about that.
But a real man follows his heart. And right now, his heart was screaming for vengeance.
"You expect mercy? From me?"
"Compared to scum like you, I'm no demon. You all deserve worse!"
For the next ten minutes, he hunted them down one by one.
Even those who jumped into the sea weren't spared.
They thought they could escape? Renzo could walk on water.
He still remembered their terrified faces when they saw him running effortlessly across the waves.
One word: Satisfying.
Back on the deck, Renzo took a deep breath and stretched, a bright smile on his face.
"Ahh, that felt good."
Then he blinked. "Wait… I just killed so many people, and I feel nothing? Am I some kind of natural-born killer?"
He quickly shook his head. "Nope, nope! That's slander! I only feel nothing because of Uchiha Renzo's memories! This is all his fault!"
He nodded to himself. "Yep, that makes sense. A handsome, kind-hearted guy like me is obviously the embodiment of justice!"
"If anything's to blame, it's Uchiha Renzo. Or better yet—this messed-up world!"
(The Pirate world: "If I had consciousness, I'd send a damn lightning bolt down on you, making sure to kill this shameless scum!")
