Chapter 10: Chapter 10: First Kill
Chapter 10: First Kill
Go Ahead and Scold Away (It's Giving Comedy Gold)
Mo Yan stood outside Fang Yuan's dormitory, her face red with rage. She had been tricked, humiliated, and now she was stuck yelling at a closed door like a Karen at a Walmart.
"Fang Yuan, you brat, come out if you're a man!" she shouted, her voice echoing through the quiet night.
Inside, Fang Yuan sat cross-legged on his bed, meditating like a sigma male. He didn't even flinch at her insults.
"Fang Yuan, as a man, you must own up to your own doings! Now you're being a coward hiding in that room—do you not feel ashamed of yourself?" Mo Yan continued, her voice rising with every word.
Fang Yuan remained silent, his expression as calm as a monk who just discovered Wi-Fi.
"Stop pretending to ignore me! Get out if you know what's good for you!" Mo Yan screamed, her voice cracking.
Still, Fang Yuan said nothing.
Mo Yan was crashing out. She had come here to teach Fang Yuan a lesson, but instead, she was the one being schooled. She felt like a clown at a circus, yelling at a door while the audience (aka Gao Wan) watched in awkward silence.
"AHHHHH, this is getting to the death of me!" Mo Yan finally snapped, stomping her foot like a toddler throwing a tantrum. "Fang Yuan, you can hide now, but you can't hide from me forever!"
With that, she stormed off, leaving Gao Wan to stand guard outside the dormitory.
The Night Watch
Gao Wan stood outside the door, shivering in the cold mountain air. He had been tasked with watching Fang Yuan, but all he could do was stand there like a glorified scarecrow.
"Scumbag, you finally opened your eyes. How long are you planning to be cultivating there?!" Gao Wan yelled as Fang Yuan stirred.
Fang Yuan ignored him, pulling out a primeval stone and closing his eyes again.
"Scumbag, come out and surrender yourself! You've offended the Mo family—you will not have any good days from now on!" Gao Wan continued, his voice growing hoarse.
Fang Yuan remained unfazed, his focus unbroken.
"Scumbag, you mere C-ranked talent, the most you can achieve in life is a Rank two Gu Master! What is there to cultivate?!" Gao Wan ranted, his frustration boiling over.
Fang Yuan didn't even blink.
The Suppressive Beating (It's Giving Sigma Energy)
By midnight, Fang Yuan had finished his cultivation session. He stood up, stretched, and walked out of the dormitory, his eyes locking onto Gao Wan.
"Lad, you finally decided to come out. So how about it? Obediently surrender and leave with me to kowtow and apologize to our young Miss," Gao Wan sneered, flexing his muscles like he was auditioning for a bodybuilding competition.
Fang Yuan didn't respond. Instead, he lunged at Gao Wan, his movements swift and precise.
Gao Wan blocked the attack, but Fang Yuan's strikes were relentless. He aimed for Gao Wan's vital points—eyes, throat, jaw, and waist—each move calculated to maximize damage.
"This lad is too sneaky!" Gao Wan thought, sweat pouring down his face.
Fang Yuan's attacks were brutal and efficient, a stark contrast to Gao Wan's clumsy attempts to capture him. Despite being a mortal with peak physical strength, Gao Wan was no match for Fang Yuan's combat experience.
"I can't be careless anymore! This lad behaves like a wolf, striking harsh and deviously," Gao Wan realized, his confidence wavering.
But Fang Yuan wasn't done. He continued to press the attack, his movements fluid and deadly. Gao Wan was forced on the defensive, his earlier bravado replaced by sheer panic.
Cooked! (It's Giving Sigma Energy)
Fang Yuan had the upper hand for now, but it couldn't last forever.
Exchanging blows with Gao Wan, Fang Yuan was already panting heavily. His teenage body was no match for Gao Wan's decades of physical training. Gao Wan, on the other hand, was just warming up, his punches growing faster and more precise.
"Lad, you're cooked! There are clan rules stating that within the school hostel, you're forbidden from using the Moonrizz Gu. You're dead meat, doomed to be my captive!" Gao Wan laughed maniacally, trying to shake Fang Yuan's resolve.
But Fang Yuan's mind was as calm as a frozen lake. Five hundred years of experience had hardened his will. He wasn't about to falter now.
"Moonrizz Gu!" Fang Yuan called out in his mind, activating his primeval essence. He leaped backward, putting distance between himself and Gao Wan.
Gao Wan's eyes widened as he saw the watery-blue light emitting from Fang Yuan's palm. "Wtf! Lad, you're using the Gu worm to fight in the school hostel! This is against the clan rules!"
"So what if I break the rules?" Fang Yuan sneered. He had memorized the clan rules, not to obey them, but to exploit them. With a swift motion, he slashed his palm through the air, sending a moonblade flying toward Gao Wan's face.
Gao Wan raised his arms to shield himself, but the moonblade cut deep into his flesh, exposing bone. Blood poured from the wound, and Gao Wan screamed in agony.
"How can this be?!" Gao Wan staggered back, his confidence shattered. "A Rank one initial stage moonblade shouldn't be this powerful!"
He had no idea that Fang Yuan's primeval essence had been refined by the Liquor worm, giving him the power of a Rank one middle stage Gu Master.
"This is bad! This boy is built different!" Gao Wan panicked, his fighting spirit gone. He turned to flee, but Fang Yuan was already on his tail.
"Save me!!!" Gao Wan screamed, his voice echoing through the night.
The school hostel guards arrived, but they hesitated. "It's the Mo family's servant. Do we really need to get involved?"
"Let him die. He's just a servant."
The guards stood by, watching as Fang Yuan closed in on Gao Wan.
"Go ahead and scream! It doesn't matter how loud you do so," Fang Yuan said coldly, his voice sending chills down everyone's spine.
With two swift moonblades, Fang Yuan beheaded Gao Wan. The servant's head flew through the air, landing with a sickening thud. His body crumpled to the ground, blood pooling around it.
The guards stared in horror, their faces pale. "Murder! Fang Yuan killed someone!"
Fang Yuan ignored their cries, his expression as calm as ever. He walked over to Gao Wan's corpse, his footsteps echoing in the silence.
"What a skill issue... Oh no, too many witnesses!" Fang Yuan thought, his mind racing. He couldn't let them discover his middle-stage primeval essence.
He bent down, grabbed Gao Wan's ankle, and began dragging the corpse away.
"Young master Fang Yuan, you can leave this to us," one of the guards said nervously, stepping forward.
Fang Yuan looked at him, his gaze icy. "Give me the sabre," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
The guard hesitated, then handed over his weapon.
Fang Yuan took the sabre and continued walking, dragging the headless corpse behind him. The guards watched in stunned silence, too afraid to intervene.
Aura
The sun rose over the mountain, casting its first rays of light on the school hostel. Fang Yuan, a scrawny 15-year-old, walked calmly through the courtyard.
In his left hand, he held a shiny sabre.
In his right hand, he dragged a headless corpse.
Behind him, a trail of blood stretched across the ground, painting a grim picture.
The guards stood frozen, their faces pale. Even in the warmth of the morning sun, they felt a chill run down their spines.
"Gulp." Someone swallowed loudly, breaking the silence.
Fang Yuan didn't look back. Boi ts is so tuff 💀💀💀.
