As I mentioned during the last episode, I launched my
Patreon page! It's a bit of a soft launch rollout but I wanted a lil thing here to go over my goals and what's all included in the Patreon!
Art for this chapter was provided by my wonderful bestie, and I can't get over how cute everyone looks in the arts so my endless thanks bestie!!!
My goals as I get the Patreon rolling is to obviously not take anything away from the Rising Shards you read on here; writing this to the best of my ability is still my priority; any new content on there will be bonus content. I hope if I get enough subs that I can make more stories in the RS universe (I'm not setting a firm goal on when I do new series as of now but I hope to have some new stories on there fairly soon), but they'd be like way out stuff (like the idea of doing a way far back in time high fantasy style RS story) that doesn't connect to the main story and is nothing that would be like required reading, like no "oh to understand Episode 43 you have to read all of the Pyre Cani in the Desert City series" or what have you.
I wanna push myself in new ways and finally doing a Patreon feels like a good step. It would be amazing to one day have my writing be my main job, and this I hope is a step in that direction. Thanks so much to those who have signed up so far and to those who join on!
So what exactly will you get for subscribing? Here's my schedule as of right now!
And as for what each of those entails...
Progress Updates: Pretty self explanatory. I'm shooting for bi-weekly for these!
RS rereads: I'd like to have the main series chapters on here and I think it'd be fun to have a little bit of commentary at the start or end of each chapter as a lil bonus for Patrons :3
Bonus chapters: These will be some little scenes that I'll drop when the mood is right, once more nothing that will be required reading for the main series for scenes featuring our gang.
Spicy Chapters (18+ tier only): These will be for now some standalone chapters featuring some spicy scenes!
Deleted Scenes: A look at scenes that didn't make it to a finalized RS episode or weird oddities from older drafts.
Notebook Looks: I have piles of notebooks around and some have some cool stuff in em so I'd like to scan or get pics of them and post them (I have sloppy handwriting just a heads up in advance!)
New Series: I don't have a set date during the week for these as of right now but I'd like to get some Patreon exclusive series ready over the coming months in the RS universe, stuff that isn't strictly relevant to the main series but to explore the world more and have new characters, settings, scenarios that might be different to the main series (but still in line with like the gay fluff you know from me). I'd love to get really experimental with it and make lots of weirdness.
