Chapter 2: Let's go!
When Cain came back after getting a new job, he told Rebecca that he was hired as a mechanic. She was impressed to hear that he had found a job at the age of 15, especially in the field of mechanics. It seemed that she had doubted whether anyone would hire such a young person as a mechanic. Nevertheless, a deal is a deal and he's not going to high school anymore.
When Cain went to the cabinet to get a snack, he started to notice there were just 10 kids that lived there, including himself, but what caught him off guard was that they were no older than 5-10-year-old kids. He looked around in his memories that he is the oldest one here and kids see him as an older brother.
When he looks around in his memories, he notices this big group is like a big family, and the reason why he made a deal with Rebecca is if he finds a job before school starts, then he doesn't have to go to school because Rebecca doesn't have enough money to pay for what the kids need.
When the kids saw what other kids had toys and electronics. They make them feel sad because they don't have what they have, and sometimes they get hammy-down clothes and charity toys. They sometimes get bullied because of that but he always backs them up when someone messes with them. The people his age or older tried to bully him too by beating him up that sometimes he won but not all the time thanks to his mutation activated. People started to back off when they noticed they were getting their asses handed to them. He was thankful he didn't have to use his powers.
When Cain was paying attention to his thoughts he got interrupted when he felt a tug from his pants. As he looks down, he sees a little girl with Burnett's hair who is no older than five, looking at him with a cute smile on her face, and his memories tell him that her name is Katie Rose who is always curious about everything.
Katie looked at him while tugging his pants. "Where were you this whole day? Were you running away from us?" she said as she tried to see in his eyes if he was going to lie or not but she was joking around.
Cain chuckled, shook his head, and said, "No, just went out looking for a job, Katie".
Katie looks at him in curiosity "Well, did you find a job then, Cain." He nodded but got caught off when he heard Katie squealing in excitement and yelled "That's awesome you're so lucky you don't have to go to school because school sucks!!"
When the kids from the living room heard that Cain was here what got them paying attention was that Cain doesn't have to go to school. They all ran to the kitchen, circling Cain, and started asking questions about how he's not going to school now and many more questions.
He didn't know where to start, but they all kept pushing him to answer their questions. As he was about to answer their questions, things got worse when the kids started yelling and fighting each other, saying he should answer their questions. He tried to break up the fight, but he sighed in relief when he saw Rebecca barging in screaming.
"Quite!!!!" as soon she said that all the kids closed their mouths shut. As soon she saw that she looked at them, disappointed in what she was seeing, and said, "Stop gaining up on Cain and Katie. Why did you yell School sucks, young Lady."
Katie looked at the floor and played with her hands, saying in a quiet tone, "Well, isn't a school like a prison to kids?".
Rebecca looked at Katie when she said that, along with the kids, who nodded at her agreement. She sighed and said, "And why did you think that?".
Katie looked at Rebecca and pointed at Cain, saying, "Well, Cain says schools are prisons. They keep kids locked up physically and mentally. Prepare them for jobs that are prisons until they retire going to a nursing home there in the final prison."
Both Rebecca and Cain were in shock at what Katie just said. Rebecca looked at him with a glare and said, "Oh really, Cain said that to you, sweetie."
Cain stuttered, trying to explain what he said. "Well, I told her about school, but that's all I didn't tell her about was the jobs and the nursing home." They both looked at Katie, who had an innocent smile on her face.
She said with an innocent voice, "Well, I heard the other things on TV, but it's true prison and school are the same, but we get to leave."
Rebecca just sighed because of how TV is ruining kids' lives when technology has taken over. She looked at the kids and said, "And why are you all gaining up on him?"
Luke, a 10-year-old boy with messy hair, pointed at Cain and said, "Well, we all heard he doesn't have to go to school because he has a job, but we want to know why he can drop out but not us", when he said that all the kids nodded in agreement.
Rebecca put her hands on her hips and explained to them, "Well, he's been responsible since he was a little kid and smart in what he is doing and picked the job that is a mechanic because he knows a lot about cars, and I was surprised they hired him too. Every time something needed to be fixed around the house, he was the one to fix it because it was a good thing other than hiring someone to do it for us but always asking for more money."
They all nodded at that as if every time they needed help when Rebecca was busy, they went to Cain for help on their homework, fixing things, or just needed help on things.
"Now, kids, it's almost bedtime, so get ready for bed and brush your teeth," Rebecca said as she pointed upstairs. She heard the kids walking as they started complaining under their breath. She then said, "And don't complain. This is your last week before school, so it's better this way other than being grumpy in the morning when school starts." she shook her head with a smile on her face.
She looked back at Cain and said, "You too, young man. You got work tomorrow," as she started walking upstairs to check to see if the kids were brushing their teeth or not.
----------------------------------------------------------
As he was in his room in the middle of the night, he was trying to sleep, but something was nagging him in his head. He knew he was in the MCU, but he knew things changed, like when he met Carter Slade and something just clicked. He got up on the bed, sat down, and reached for his phone, starting to search for something or someone. As soon as he did, he didn't find any information about this person.
The reason he was looking for someone was the name Johnny Blaze. He knew that his new last name sounded familiar. That last name was Johnny Blaze, who is a stuntman and, better yet, the ghost rider. He knew him being here differently changed because there was no Johnny Blaze at all not even the circus about the blazing family stunt entertainment.
He just hopes for the best. I mean, where's the fun about knowing your future then? That whatever happened he just hoped he was ready. Knowing this isn't just an orphan place it's his new home and family that lives here now.
He needs to start training and practicing his new powers against whoever gets in the way of his new life and family.
As he went back to sleep, he didn't look at the window, seeing something that was not outside or inside, but what was in the window reflection were orange firey eyes that were watching him sleep. As soon he saw the kid breathing steadily, he didn't hear what these mysterious fiery eyes said to him next.
"Soon, Soon Cain Blaze before we become the one and the only perfect Vengeance. I hope you're ready. My perfect vessel because this world is going to know our wrath. When they hurt the Innocents, they'll be dancing in internal flames, hahaha. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA LET THERE BE VEENNGGEEAANNCCEEEEE!!!!!!!!!"
----------------------------------------------------------
Cain walked into the mechanic shop wearing a white muscle shirt, plain blue jeans with a belt, and black boots. As he looked around, he tried to see if he could find Mr.Slade. Until he heard a tap on a widow seeing he was calling him in his office.
As he reached his office, he saw him on the phone talking to someone. As he waited for him to finish, he looked around, seeing pictures of Mr.Slade with his friends. Seeing his picture, it looks like all these pictures were all across the world. He sees him in China, Russia, Africa, las Vegas, and more, but what really caught his attention was some of these pictures he had never seen before at all that it looks like-.
"So kid, ready for your first day at the job"
Cain looks back at Mr.Slade, whose eyebrows are up, waiting for him to answer. He cleared his throat and said, "Yes sir, ready as ever".
Mr. Slade smiled and got up telling him to follow him. As they were walking, he explained to the kid what he was going to do today. "So kid today, what you are doing today is refilling the oil change, testing the tire pressure, fixing and repairing the brake rotors, and transmission fluid."
As time passes by fixing and repairing cars within minutes turns into ours. The only things you hear are Wrenches, drills, metal hitting each other, and the sound of the car running.
CLANKING!
CLICKING!
CLUNKING!
PING!
RAAMMBBLLEE!!!
As Cain was under the car changing the transmission fluid. Mr.Slade replacing the rotors the only thing you heard was all the noise along with rock music. As they were doing their work, Mr.Slase started a conversation: "So kid, what's the reason for you to work?".
Cain responded with the simple reason, "I need the money."
Carter chuckled, shook his head, and said, "Yeah, I know that kid, but I want to know why you need the job. Is it because you have one of those families that demanded you to work now because they're tired of you sitting your ass on the couch and watching TV".
Cain just chuckled and said, "I don't have a family; I'm an orphan." When Carter heard that, he was surprised and said, "Really?".
"Yeah, well, I am an orphan, but in the orphanage, there ain't that many kids in that place because you can do abortion now, but for those kids, when they were born or one year old, some of their parents died while giving birth to them, or had an accident that didn't make it." When he said that Carter was taking it all in, he continued to listen to the kid. "And me, I was dropping out of the doorstep. I never knew my parents, but I'm the oldest one there. The kids never wanted to have a new family because we are a family there, but the reason why I'm working and needed the money is I felt what they felt of not having the things they wished they wanted, and is tough for our caretaker to take all 10 kids, including my self so it's 9 little kids and me that she has to take care of".
Carter was impressed by what his hearing right now coming from the kid's mouth. He didn't know the kid needed the job but he admired him for what he was doing.
"So you pick a mechanic thing, huh, kid," he said with a smirk on his face as he continued fixing the rotors.
Cain slid out underneath the car, wiped his hands, and said, "Yeah, well, cars are like art. Whatever you do to the engine and car to tinker it up, It can be a beautiful, sweet ride for a show or a monster in the street, or it can be both, Mr.Slade."
Carter smiled as he finished replacing the rotors. He got up and wiped his hands and said, "Amen to that, and please enough with Mr.Slade call me Carter, kid."
Cain smirked and said, "Then call me Cain then". Carter laughed as he walked past him and patted his shoulder. "Not going to happen, kid".
Cain shook his head and shrugged his shoulder. "Well, I'd try," throwing the dirty rag on top of the toolbox.
----------------------------------------------------------
We see Cain walking out as he finishes his shift. As he was about to walk out of the building he heard Carter calling out to him.
As he catches up to him, he says to the kid, "And where do you think you're going?". Cain was confused about that, so he said, "I'm going home".
Cater smirked and swung his arms around the kid. He walked towards the graveyard and said, "You go home later. I want to show you something, kid".
Cain didn't know what was going on, but he followed along. As they walked, they just talked about things about their likes and dislikes and went further through the graveyard. Cain then started to notice there was a two-story wooden house that connected to a horse stable.
As they walked to the stables, Cain saw the most beautiful horse that he had ever seen. It. Their color and hair were like the darkness at night when the sun hit him, appearing as a beautiful and mysterious horse whose body looked muscular and built.
"Wow" was the only thing that came out of him as he stroked the horse's head. Carter looks with a smile on his face and says, "Yeah, he is a beauty. That one right there is what is called a Friesian horse, and his name is Walker". He looked at Carter and said, "So this is what you want me to see".
He shook his head as he put on the saddle on top of the horse "No, kid, but we will be." Cain looked confused and said, "So, we're going somewhere."
Carter nodded as he sat on the horse, put on his cowboy hat, and said, "That's right.". Cain chuckled nervously and said, "Yeah, I got to tell you I don't know how to ride a horse.".
"I know that kid. That's why you're going to ride," Carter says as he points to what looks like Black Cotton that is covering what looks like a motorcycle, but he doesn't know what kind it is.
As soon as Cain was right next to it, he looked back at Carter, seeing him nod for him to uncover it. As he grabbed the cotton he pulled it roughly to see a beautiful Harley Davidson Chopper. As soon he gazes upon this gorgeous two-wheeled wonder, he can't help but be drawn in by its unique design. But this isn't just a beautiful piece- it's a modern masterpiece, with all the latest parts and features cleverly concealed within its retro exterior, followed by a beautiful dark blue followed by a unique flame paint job.

"You like the ride kid"
He looked back at Carter and just nodded. The man laughed as he threw the keys at the kid, seeing him catching it, and said to him, "Well, turn it on, kid".
As Cain started it up he was met with a roaring loud engine. The roar of a wide-open throttle, the robust, throaty growl of a big V-twin, the grumpy exhaust. Cain smirks as he rivets it up as he hears the loud engine roaring louder.
He kicked the kickstand back to its place as he slowly moved the back right next to Cart and, his horse.
As soon as the kid was right next to him, Carter said as he pointed at the Cliff, "You see that Cliff over there with a big tree that is close to the cliff". Cain looks to see where his pointing and nodding, seeing it's covered with trees, which is one dirt road that looks like it leads it up. Carter looked at him and said, "That right there is one mile, kid. Let's see if you can keep up."
Cain laughed as he looked at him and said, "So it's going to be like that." Carter smirked and said, "It's going to be like that".
Cain nodded and looked forward "So when we start". Cater reached out in his saddlebag, taking out what looked like a firecracker; he lit it up and threw it right in front of them.
As they waited time seemed to stop as they were preparing for this race. Their blood was pumping. They took a calm breath to steady themselves as they squeezed their rope and clutched, preparing for this thrilling race.
Bang!!
And they were off as Cain was steadily his bike that was running fast he looked to his side seeing Carter was right beside him. He started to see he was about to get passed. He clutches his handles and rivets it to go faster. As soon as he does that, he leaves Carter behind, leading him the lead.
He looked in his rearview mirror seeing him leaving him in the dust. He chuckled and started yelling, feeling the wind passing his face. As he looked forward again, he was met with trees blocking his path "Fuck" he took a hard right and continued following the dirt road. As he checked his review mirror, he saw Carter pulling his horse to jump into the trees.
"Oh, it's like that then, huh? Okay, then, let's play," he said as he put the peddle to the metal. As he was riding faster than ever, he took hard turns, sometimes looking to the mirror and seeing Carter passing across the dirt road.
As he took another hard right turn, he checked his mirror again but didn't see Carter. "Damn, where is he," and soon he said that he met Carter in his horse, jumping over him and disappearing into the trees.
"Hahaha, this guy is crazy." he looks forward again and sees what made him stop. As soon he stopped, he saw a dirt road heading in the direction of what looked like back to Carter House.
"Oh, that mother fucker" he looked around to see another dirt road path but didn't find anything. He looks back where he sees Carter heading to the cliff and says to himself, "Okay, two can play that game." Revive the engine again.
We see Carter pushing his horse right to left so they don't hit the tree he looks back and doesn't see Cain anymore and says to himself "Sorry kid better luck next time" As he continues to reach the cliff he hears the loud of what sounded like a motor engine, he looks around to see were it's coming from until he sees Cain using a tree log like a ramp fly over his head hearing of what it sounds like screaming in excitement.
As soon as Cain landed, he pushed it and yelled to Carter, "Try to keep up, old man!!". Carter laughed as he kicked his horse to go faster.
As they both are shoulder to shoulder again now. They were finally reaching the finish line. Cain pushes what all the motorcycle has left and Carter kicks and slaps the rope all the horse energy has. As they are about to cross the finish line, they are met with a large tree log blocking their path, but they push all they have. Carter pulls his rope, making the horse jump as high as it can, following it along with Cain pulling his back, leaving the front wheel in the air with the back wheel on the ground as he uses the log as a ramp.
Both flew as high as they could. Once they touched the ground, Carter pulled, stopping the horse along with Cain pressing the brakes as hard as he could as he drifted to stop himself.
They both took a hard breath as they tried to calm themselves down. They both laughed at the thrill they'd been through.
Cain laughs in enjoyment as he turns off the motorcycle. "Hahaha, man, I didn't see that coming but that was awesome!!!!"
Carter laughed and got off his horse, petting him as he left him behind to relax and enjoy eating the wheat. He said to Cain, "Kid, you must be one crazy driver because I never met someone who does that way as you did right there."
Cain laughed and nodded. "Yeah, well, sometimes you have to do something dangerous, huh, Carter?".
Carter chuckled and nodded in agreement and said to him, "I hear you, kid." he put his arms around Cain, walked to the cliff, and showed him a nice view. "Well, kid, this is what I want to show you". Cain looks at what he sees right now he only has one word.
"Wow"
