Chapter 113: Vision(Double Chapter)
In the next period of time, Chu Wuyao didn't cause any more trouble and spent most of her time either cultivating or practicing her skills, working hard to improve her strength as much as she could.
Whenever she had some free time, she would pay a visit to Ruan Yi to bring their relationship closer, or she would go to Zhao Peng and Lu Yuan and collect more information about the Inner Area and the world itself.
In the blink of an eye, a few days had gone by with no change at all.
Just when Chu Wuyao was starting to wonder whether Lu Yuan had lied to her, the thing she had been waiting for finally happened.
The sun had just appeared in the blue sky and Chu Wuyao was about to go to the Outer Area to visit Ruan Yi, when suddenly, a majestic aura spread throughout the Inner Area, opressing everything around it.
Whether it was Chu Wuyao, or the inner disciples around her, the moment they sensed this aura, they subconsciously raised their heads to look at the sky.
There, they found that just above the Inner Area, an old man was standing in the air with a careless expression.
When he confirmed that he had attracted everyone's attention, the old man spoke up.
"The major forces have discovered another world that contains the inheritance of a strong man."
"To make sure that there is no major conflict, the major forces have decided to send some weaker members in order to compete for the inheritance."
"The Sect Leader has promised that if there is a disciple of our sect that happens to obtain it, the sect will not interfere but will let them keep it!", he said mechanically, as if he had rehearsed it.
The old man's voice wasn't loud at all, but his words seemed able to travel through space and accurately landed on every disciple's ears.
After he said these words, he didn't explain anything else but waved his right hand.
Instantly, a flying black ship flew out of his space ring and landed behind him.
This black ship was truly massive, many times bigger than any ship Chu Wuyao had ever seen, combined!
If it was not for its clear shape, Chu Wuyao would have to wonder if this was a city rather than a ship.
"All the disciples that want to participate can get in.", the old man said casually and the next moment, his figure disappeared.
Everyone and everything in the Inner Area seemed to pause, as every single disciple stared blankly at the massive black ship that was floating in the air.
However, the disciples soon recovered and rose in the air, rushing towards the black ship in unison.
Among these disciples was Chu Wuyao, whose eyes contained clear excitement.
With her speed, it only took a few seconds for Chu Wuyao to arrive next to the ship's deck and with a thought of her mind, she landed on it.
With her feet on the ground, Chu Wuyao looked around and found that there were billions of runes painted on the ship, covering every inch of its surface.
"How is it? Isn't it impressive?", she heard a voice coming from behind her and she didn't even need to turn her head to know who it was.
Walking next to her, Zhao Peng followed Chu Wuyao's eyes and sighed in emotion.
"This is the Original Boat, one of the most powerful Magic Weapons that our sect possesses."
"Although it can't be compared with those famous Magic Weapons like the Original Desire Cauldron, its power is still not something we can match.", he said and then pointed at the runes on the ship's surface.
"Every rune you see is actually part of a larger formation."
"It is rumored that as long as there are enough Qi Accumulation Realm cultivators to power the Original Boat, even cultivators at the Supernatural Realm can be killed."
Hearing his explanation, Chu Wuyao was secretly surprised.
Even though she had never personally experienced the power of a cultivator at the Supernatural Realm, she could roughly guess just how strong they were.
Yet, according to Zhao Peng, the Original Boat allowed a bunch of weaklings to possess the strength to kill them?
Even though she guessed that it would take many Qi Accumulation Realm cultivators for this to happen, it was still enough to show the Original Boat's power.
"Junior sister Chu, you have to be more cautious later.", Zhao Peng looked at Chu Wuyao and reminded her.
"Although fighting over an inheritance might seem relatively safe compared to exterminating a sect, this time, members of the other major forces will also participate."
"With the bad relationship between our sect and some other forces, it is inevitable that there will be some fights."
Saying this, Zhao Peng stopped talking for a split second and gritted his teeth in anger.
"Especially those heartless women from the Ice God Hall! They will surely trouble you!"
"If you happen to meet them, don't listen to their words and kill them without hesitation!"
When Chu Wuyao saw his angry expression, she found it a little weird.
After all, the relationship between the sect and the Ice God Hall had nothing to do with mere disciples like them.
This was something that only the elders and the Sect Leader should care about.
Thinking of this, a joking expression appeared on Chu Wuyao's face: "Senior brother Zhao, it seems that you have suffered at the hands of the Ice God Hall before."
As if she had stepped on his tail, Zhao Peng immediately shook his head.
"No, no! Junior sister, you're mistaken!", he denied profusely.
But from the fact that Zhao Peng only said a few more words and then hurriedly ran away, Chu Wuyao knew that her guess was most likely true.
Just as she was wondering what caused Zhao Peng to suffer such trauma, Chu Wuyao noticed that the Original Boat under her feet shook for just a moment, before returning to normal.
Of course, she wouldn't believe that this was just her illusion.
Turning her head, Chu Wuyao found that the Original Boat had actually started moving.
Despite what its massive size would suggest, its speed was extremely fast, many times faster than her own flight speed.
In just moment, it had left the Original Desire Sect behind and before long, even the giant Original Mountain was no longer visible, disappearing at the horizon.
****
With the massive size of the Original Boat, there was no issue accommodating the inner disciples at all and there were even many rooms for them to live in.
Soon, only a few disciples remained on the deck, while the majority of them chose a room at random and stepped inside, ready to resume their cultivation and improve their strength.
Clearly, the fact that they were about to compete with the members of the other major forces made them nervous, but also brought out their competitive spirit.
Obviously, unlike Chu Wuyao, these disciples had been members of the Original Desire Sect for a very long time and they had developed a sense of belonging towards the sect.
Chu Wuyao admired the scenery for a few more minutes and then, she decided to also resume her cultivation.
However, before she could turn around, she suddenly noticed an extremely small black dot on the horizon.
The size of this small dot was getting bigger at a rapid speed and Chu Wuyao realized that it was rushing towards the direction of the Original Boat.
"Is it a cultivator or a monster?", she wondered but she didn't feel nervous at all.
Let alone the fact that there were elders of the sect that were accompanying them, just the Original Boat was not something that most people could deal with.
While Chu Wuyao was thinking, the dot on the horizon soon arrived near the Original Boat and stopped right in front of it, revealing its identity.
This creature looked like a wolf, except that its size was many times bigger and that its fur was red, as if it had bathed in a pool of blood.
However, the most important difference was that this creature didn't have one head like one would expect but three.
Even though the creature didn't take any action and just stood there, Chu Wuyao noticed that the temperature around her had increased, as if she had fallen in a sea of fire.
"An Infernal Wolf?", she muttered in a low voice, recognizing the identity of this three-headed wolf.
The Infernal Wolf was a somewhat rare type of monster that was mostly known for its ability to manipulate flames.
Infernal Wolves possess a very strong bloodline and as long as they reach adulthood, they will be able to become Level 3 Monsters, possessing strength equal to that of an Awakening Realm cultivator.
"A mere monster dares to block the way of our Original Desire Sect!", Chu Wuyao heard a male disciple say with contempt.
It was only now that she looked around and realized that the arrival of this monster had alerted most of the inner disciples and they had rushed out to watch the fun.
Clearly, a battle between Awakening Realm cultivators was not something these disciples were willing to miss.
The Infernal Wolf saw that a bunch of tiny humans were staring at it with curiosity, but it didn't pay much attention to these ants.
"Humans! Why did you invade my territory?", the Infernal Wolf looked towards the center of the Original Boat and spoke, its voice hoarse.
"I want to remind you that I'm a subordinate of the Immortal Demon King!", it added, growling in anger.
As a Level 3 Monster, the Infernal Wolf's intelligence was not low at all and was comparable to that of an average human.
That's why even though its territory was invaded, it didn't attack rashly but chose to communicate first.
Moreover, it even brought up its identity as a subordinate of the Immortal Demon King, a Level 4 Monster that was comparable to a Supernatural Realm cultivator.
With such a background, it felt that it was very unlikely that anyone would dare to offend it.
Even then, the Infernal Wolf didn't let down its guard and looked at the strange black ship in front of it with cautious eyes.
Although it couldn't sense any strong aura on the ship, it still didn't want to fight against other people if it is not necessary.
It was precisely this cautiousness that had allowed it to live for so long!
"Humans! Leave my territory!", the Infernal Wolf resisted its primal instinct to swallow these delicious humans and continued.
"Hmph!"
In response to its words, a cold snort rang in all six of its wolf ears.
At the same time, an extremely powerful aura rushed towards it, sending a shiver down its spine.
Immediately, the Infernal Wolf realized that indeed, there was a powerful cultivator on this ship!
"Fortunately, I've always been cautious.", it thought and it immediately made a decision.
Escape!
"Since you're already here, there is no reason to leave!", an old voice sounded and the next moment, a large humanoid figure appeared at the center of the Original Boat.
This figure was hundreds of meters in-height, even bigger than the Infernal Wolf, and its body seemed to be between illusion and reality.
The figure's face was blurry, but four complicated runes could be seen engraved on its forehead.
When Chu Wuyao looked at these runes, she found that four different images appeared in front of her eyes.
An exploding volcano, a calm sea of water, a tall mountain, a raging hurricane.
By the time she recovered, Chu Wuyao found that the huge figure had moved its giant hand and swung it towards the Infernal Wolf.
As if it had teleported, the hand appeared above the Infernal Wolf and under its horrified eyes, it fell towards it.
"You can't kill me! I'm a subordinate of the Immortal Demon King!", the Infernal Wolf yelled and tried to flee, but it was already too late.
"Boom!"
The palm landed on it and instantly, the entire body of the Infernal Wolf turned into flying ash that flew in the wind.
With its death, the massive figure didn't stay any longer but slowly became smaller until it completely disappeared.
From the arrival of the Infernal Wolf to its death, less than a second had passed and the fight that the disciples was had been waiting for never happened.
"Vision...", Chu Wuyao whispered and recalled the giant figure that stood between illusion and reality.
She had witnessed such a thing before, but at that time, she was not as knowledgeable as now.
As an inner disciple, Chu Wuyao had access to more high-level information and knew that this massive figure was actually a Vision, the signature ability of the Supernatural Realm.
If cultivators needed to obtain an Authority in order to break through the Awakening Realm, then Awakening Realm cultivators needed to awaken their Vision if they wanted to break through the Supernatural Realm.
According to a book she read, a Vision is actually the crystallization of everything that a cultivator has previously learned, whether it is their skills, their techniques or most importantly, their Authorities.
The more "knowledge" a cultivator possesses, the stronger their Vision will be.
When Chu Wuyao thought of the four runes that were engraved on the figure's forehead, she understood that this was a sign that that person had understood four Authorities.
"I'm afraid that this elder can be considered very strong even among the Supernatural Realm cultivators.", Chu Wuyao judged.
